Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotty plugin - is it possible to change Spotify-connect settings from CLI call ?
Hi, Thank you very much for your quick answer. > You can leave it on, it shouldn't hurt. Why do you believe you have to > disable it? Because I've experimented some problems times after I've activated it. I don't know if it's directly linked each time I've activated it I had the problem that after playing less than one track of a playlist, the playback stop. If I start it once again, at the same point the playback stops. I also thought that the squeezebox players could take the lead over smartphones linked to the account. After some tests I've noticed it's not the case.. Sot maybe this won't be necessary or useful. Thanks anyway for the telnet command, it might be useful one day :-) jack bauer's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=73252 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=117265 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I would imagine that, if there are issues of that nature, you will be hearing about them here soon enough. I did run into a problem of sorts when, flush with my success at changing the LMS volume with "Hey Google" voice commands such as "Turn the volume down" and "Change the volume to 34%", I decided to try "Mute". While it muted the Minis, it unsurprisingly did not result in an an LMS "mixer muting" command. A subsequent voice "Unmute" command successfully unmuted the audio. However, when I returned to the Material Skin client, it showed that the player was not active and I had to restart playback to get things back in sync. Although it's not really a problem, it made me wonder if it would be possible to support the mute/unmute function in a similar way as pause/resume. Have you tried just adding the -C 'command to squeezelite ?' (https://ralph-irving.github.io/squeezelite.html) I think Spotify drops the output when it is stopped. Maybe try this; play something using Squeezelite, stop the player, use Spotify-connect from a Phone or tablet, halt playback, select the phone or tablet as the spotify-Connect client but don't play any music. You should then be able to play via Squeezelite. ronnie Man in a van's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=43627 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=117265 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotty plugin - is it possible to change Spotify-connect settings from CLI call ?
Hi, I'm using LMS and Spotty plugin to cast my spotify music. I'm also using openHab to manage LMS and my players. As some time I need spotify connect and sometimes not, I would like to be able to toggle it ON/OFF from a cli (command line interface) call. Or would it be possible with a sequence of HTTP GET / POST queries ? I took a look and commited some changes to GitHub. I don't have time to test them now, so no new release yet. If you wanted, you could test the current GitHub repo version, i.e. -saving as static pl- and maybe -saving as fav- in Material. Anyway, Merry Christmas to you too! For '*bug reports*' (https://github.com/AF-1/), *FAQ* (if available) and more detailed information about my plugins, please see the '*GitHub*' (https://github.com/AF-1/) page or the *first post* in the support thread for a plugin. Please post *bug reports* for my plugins *only* on '*GitHub*' (https://github.com/AF-1/). Thank you. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: UPnPBridge = integrate UPnP/DLNA players with LMS (squeeze2upnp)
I'm trying to rebuild a system consisting of LMS upnpbridge Hqplayerd (embedded). Unfortunately I'm totally inexperienced and despite the plugin manual I haven't been able to change the plugin configuration for Hqplayerd Emebdded. So I would like to ask if anyone can tell me how to do it. RCST, this looks exactly what I've been looking for. However, the (new) download gets to my phone's Shortcuts OK, but I get: "A server with the specified hostname could not be found." Have I got the format correct? I know my LMS server's address, and I know the port is 9000, so I have: http://192.168.X.X.X000/jsonrpc.js Is that the correct format? If it is, then what else could be adrift? whitman's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9053 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114611 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
Hi Craig Thanks again for your constant development of Material Skin. With regard to the APK have you given any thought to re-introducing the ability to start SB Player within Material as opposed to having to come out and start it separately? It would be greatly appreciated if this were possible. Thanks. For the moment I am sticking with DPL 3 until I have enough time to play with DPL 4 and learn how best to use it. In the meantime, if I am recalling correctly from the referenced thread above, there was a slightly updated version of SQLPlaylist that I was using that seems to be no longer available. I can only get access to Erland's final version. Is there any way I can get that version again? I added the link the repository where it used to be, but it no longer shows up. Thanks once again. --Ira nyindieguy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=62092 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115073 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] piCorePlayer and hardware volume control
I did discover the trailing space issue a while ago and did updates to pCP on 2021-05-25. So, the updates would be released sometime after that. I deal with the same issue in the Denon/Marantz AVR Control plugin, syncing the volume between LMS's linear 0-100% scale and the AVR's dB scale of 0-MAX, where the value of MAX can be customized in the AVR's setup menu to be 60, 70, 80 or 98dB. The algorithm that handles the transformation between the two while maintaining a natural sounding curve is interesting and, to my ears, very effective.
