Cheers! I'm sorted now thanks. I tried your suggestion, but it didn't give me the drop down box that I expected. All a bit weird, but a couple of reboots and removing the link to the repository seems to have returned things to how they were. Cheers cpd That has allowed me to check my settings. I removed the Materials Skin reference to the repository and checked the Material skin plug wasn't running (it wasn't), closed down LMS and restarted it but I'm still getting a blank page when I go to http://127.0.0.1:9010/settings/index.html Obviously, I've broken something in removing the Material Skin :( Steve Steve Kettering, UK StevePalmer's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=42535 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
Hi Guys Thought I'd experiment with this new skin today. Not sure what I did, but having decided to revert pack to 'classic' and/or 'Default', :( I seem to have lost my 'settings' page at http://127.0.0.1:9010/settings/index.html It just comes up blank. I've obviously screwed something up somewhere. The last thing I recall doing was unchecking the material skin plugin and choosing 'apply', then restarting LMS. Obviously, now I can't access the plugins page to check anything. Any help appreciated. My Win10 PC starting throwing up this error about the same time, yesterday, when I was responding to your suggestion of 'switching on' my CastBridge. Naturally, I thought it was something *I'd* tweaked, but I then noticed that NONE of my Bridges had been switched on in LMS and the error only started when I clicked the option to turn the AirPlay Bridge 'on'. Anyway, I switched it OFF again and obviously, the error message disappeared. I left it OFF for the rest of the day. When I got up this morning and booted-up Windows about an hour ago (7am UK) I switched the AirPlay Bridge back on in LMS and the error message no longer popped-up. Just ot be sure, I rebooted my PC and the error message remained absent! I can also confirm that all my AirPlay devices (through the Bridge) are appearing in Squeezer and the LMS GUI. So, for me, at least, the problem has disappeared. I'm not skilled enough to work out what's different between yesterday and today as far as LMS is concerned - maybe it's just one of those 'glitches'??? Thought this might be helpful. let's hope the others report the same. Thanks again, for helping me identify my 'schoolboy' error in the Bridge settings yesterday! [SlimDevices: Plugins] Bridges Query
Hi Guys I fear that this lockdown is turning my brain to mush as I've got a very basic question about the 3 'Bridge' plugins - and I know I should be able to answer this question myself! Where's that 'embarrassed' emoji??) Long-story-short: I've had to reinstall everything after my Windows 10 PC crashed with a corrupted hard disk. Pleased to say that everything is back, working, and pretty-much 99.9% of LMS is 'as it was' (I think!) My question is about the 3rd-party plugins. UPnP Bridge, CastBridge and AirBridge "How do I know if these are working?" I thought I'd read the devices that are found are 'seen' as extra (Squeezelite) players "But where do I find these?" I can't see them if I go into LMS web interface and look at my list of players - it just shows my Logitech radios (as expected) and I can only see *some* of them elsewhere (see below) Here's what I've worked out... - In each of the plugins (on their respective plugins page) in LMS I can see the devices on my network that the plugins have found and their mac address etc etc. In my case, it's my Yamaha Amp and 2x Sky boxes - I can also see that each plugin is being let through my firewall But... in the case of the CastBridge, I can't see it anywhere on my setup - not on the TV when I'm running the Chromecast dongle, whereas I can see AirPlay on my phone and play my music from LMS (so I guess the AirBridge plugin is behaving as expected) and I can see the LMS icon on my Samsung TV (again, so I've concluded that the UPnP bridge is OK). So, I'm assuming it's the *Chromecast dongle* that the CastBridge plugin interacts with?? So, the bit that's been driving me mad is: 1. Am I right in thinking I should see my devices (Yamaha amp and Sky Boxes) as 'players'? somewhere If so, where? 2. Where do I go (at a device level) to see that the CastBridge plugin is functioning? Phew! Off for a lie down now! Cheers all. Any help appreciated. HI Phillipe I was encouraged by some of the supportive guys on here to give your plugin a go as my new AV receiver (a Yamaha RXA1060) supports AirPlay. I think I've set everything up correctly, but I'm not hearing/seeing anything on the AirPlay side of things on the AVR - when I click on AirPLay on the AVR, I get the window that I normally see when I'm playing music (a square for the album art, track meta data underneath... but nothing is showing. On the LMS GUI it all looks good, and the AVR is identified as a player ('Lounge') and I can even choose music and 'see it playing' in the GUI... bujt nothing on the actual AVR. I've attached the log, to see if you might be able to spot what's not quite right. I fully expect to have to tweak things, but with so many variables, I'm not sure where to start. If the log doesn't help, let me know what you need from this end and I'll happily send it via this forum. I've also added a screen grab of the setup within LMS (not sure where the config file gives you this?)23844 Appreciate your help. I really would like to get this working on my AVR Code: debug debug debug 30 debug 15 -30:1, -15:50, 0:100 30 0 2097152 flc,pcm,aif,aac,mp3 1 2 1 1 ? 1 30 0 96000 1 0 1000 1764000 0 1 stop -1 -1 debug 192.168.1.158 debug debug debug F0C77F10D4B1@Lounge._raop._tcp.local Lounge Lounge aa:aa:7f:10:d4:b1 1 783E53A305A2@Sky Q Mini1152._raop._tcp.local bskyb-mr412 bskyb-mr412 aa:aa:29:d1:05:a2 0 783E53769862@Sky Q 2TB Box0631._raop._tcp.local 97445 97445 aa:aa:29:bb:98:62 0 +---+ |Filename: ap-001.jpg | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=23844| +---+ Steve Kettering, UK StevePalmer's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=42535 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=105198 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty v1.1.0
Hi Michael Sorry, I've been out of the country for quite a while and I'm catching-up with all the LMS news! I've installed your rather excellent 'Spotty' app. It's all working fine on my Logitech Radios apart from one minor issue. When I look at the thumbnail images against each of the song tracks, it all looks great, but when I actually click on a song or album, and the screen switches to the actual track, it plays perfectly BUT the album art doesn't show at all. I've got five radios around the house and it's the same on all of them. Might it be a cache issue? I've tried rebooting the radios as well as LMS but it hasn't helped. Are you able to point me in the direction of what I might do to fix this small problem mherger wrote: > I'm happy to announce Spotty, my next generation Spotify implementation > for Squeezebox. I think I'm going to stick with the official app. Thanks for clarifying. Cheers Ronnie. Is one particular version better/different than the other. In your experience, any reason to use one rather than the other? Any benefits of running both? So many questions! [SlimDevices: Plugins] Non techy question about 'Spotify'
Hi folks Have installed Spotify and it's working fine. However, on one of my Radios the Spotify icon is ORANGE (with the word 'core - I think - in the top left of the icon) whereas on all the others it's the more familiar spotify green logo. Anyone know what's going on? :) Thanks Steve StevePalmer's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=42535 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107334 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
