Hi! I understand the latest update of Spotty means that it is now not compatible with 32-bit Windows 7 platform anymore. Is there a chance to uninstall that update and reinstall a prior version that would work on a 32-bit windows? The project of updating the system to 64bit will not happen right now so would really want to find a way to get Spotty working for a while more on this system. I've attached an extract from the log, from when 'uploading' a new file with folder structure, and then when going into Spotty to browse the list of playlists. I also tried the modified version, it gave the output: -C:\tmp\spottyTest>findSpotifyFolderFiles.exe Searching 'C:\Users\micke\AppData\Local\Spotify\Storage' for playlist information... Found: C:\Users\micke\AppData\Local\Spotify\Storage\da\da59ccd6915663b1d6cd44237aae49164e22dea6.file: 59501 Done.- So just to clarify, it does show the structure, but there are parts missing. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 2.8.x - Spotify Connect for your Squeezebox
I'm using the feature to get the Spotify 'folder' structure into the Spotty navigation. I have now rearranged my playlists and folders a bit, which seems to have confused Spotty. There are some folders as well as some lists missing, not to be found when browsing the playlists through Spotty. I went into the Spotty settings to clear the stored spolity folder info. I did expect that the folder structure in the browsing would dissapear but it did not. I did run the findSpotifyFolders utility which ran successfully again. But still no success. I moved around some playlists, created a new folder, put both new and old lists in it. And these updates including the new folders are showing. But still there are some folders as well as lists still missing. Any list missing is in a folder missing. Any idea on what I could try next to try to resolve? /Micke Server version: 7.9.2 Spotty version: 2.8.7 Running on Windows 7 mykee's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=39555 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110455 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

So I would suspect that something has changed on my end that prevented the program earlier but does not do now. That could be why it suddently worked, when you had actually only added the console output. Things that has changed are my spotify playlists (if anything there could interefere), my perl installation (but I suspect that is not involved when running the exe, only the pl), updated avast antivirus (never said it interfered but who knows). Likely there has been some Win 10 updates as well. Anyway it was apparently something in my setup. Now it does work, and I'm very grateful for all the involvment from you to help! Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Spotify Premium Plugin (Beta)
Hi! I've been using Triodes spotify plugin for some years now and I has served me very well, not sure how to live without it, but suddently it appears I may have to. I started getting very long loading times for the playlists, and now it will not load at all. It is loading for some time and ends up showing the following error in the browser: , or ] expected while parsing array, at character offset 26104 (before ": "denwarf",\n"uri":...") at C:\ProgramData\Squeezebox\Cache\InstalledPlugins/Plugins/Spotify/ParserBase.pm line 89 The log will say [22:21:41.899] metadata_updated:86 new meta [22:21:41.899] process_playlists:1155 process playlists: user [22:21:41.899] process_playlists:1169 playlists loaded: 473 of 474 [22:21:41.899] process_playlists:1173 not all playlists loaded - will try later I am guess there is some playlist it doesnt like very well? But I can't find any way to track that down. I installed the Spotify protocol handler instead to use the official spotify plugin, which works ok, although has less features and most importantly of all a hard limit at 500 songs per playlist which several of the playlists I am using exceeds. Apart from this the Triode one works fine. It can play tracks, search works etc. I just cannot get to my playlists. Which is a big JUST. Any ideas on what to try next?? It's a list with most of the top40 hits for the 90s, and there are quite many ;). You just put that on random from time to time and with that amount of songs you always get a very different mix of songs. A limitation of 500 is not a problem in itself, because you never have time to listen to 500 tracks before listening to another list. But since it cuts after the first 500 tracks in the list, no matter what I do I will always just get a mix of the first 500 tracks, I will never hear anything from the last 1000 :( mykee's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=39555 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106067 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
[SlimDevices: Plugins] 500 limit in Spotify lists still remains?
Hi! I know this question has been asked, although I haven't found any recent postings on this. This could of course mean that old answers still apply. What I am wondering is if the 500 hard limit for Spotify playlists still remains? I have preaviously used Triodes spotify plugin but sadly it stopped working for me, and only solution Ive found so far is to go with the Spotify Protocol Handler and the official Spotify plugin. I cannot find any setting to change the 500 limit on the spotify playlists. I assume it is in the Spotify plugin as it appears already when browsing in playlists, not only when playing them. So the protocol handler I assume is innocent. If there is anyone to disable the limit or at least change it, it would be wonderful!! Otherwise I need to keep working on getting my Triode one working again because I am a frequent user of very large playlists. What I want to do is to have a sql playlist that with use of TrackStat can play random songs from the say 20 most played artists (then prio 2 is to do a second list that does the same for top rated artists). But trying to use the predefined random for most played artist does only result in a random list of songs from the same single artist. When I run it again I may get another artist but only songs from that artist. The artists are the most played ones, but I cannot figure out how to get random artist from the most played ones. I have tried to alter the sql, the parameters for the playlist etc. No success. Also just tried to play around with custom skip, but cant figure out if that can help me. Still get the same result. Any hints and tips are appreciated. -- mykee mykee's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=39555 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91625 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Spotify Premium Plugin (Beta)
The beta11 resolved the issues I had with certain playlists that did not load with the error message 'Connect timed out' This plugin truly adds a lot of extra value to my setup :-) I suppose it is not supposed to work when listening through the duet controller? I have not managed to play anything from spotify through the controller. Gives a error message 'player is not supported'... something... Also noticed that some playlists sometimes stops, even though the playlist hasn't reached the end. Will test that further to see any patters and to see if I get any info in the logs. Maybe it could be related to playlists with songs that are not available anymore. Many many thanks for a great plugin! -- mykee mykee's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=39555 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79706 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Then trying to listen to a track through the duet controller gave me the following error message: Cannot request non-HTTP URL spotify:track:1u5IkA1iUzuabHsndzunxU Then switching to the receiver instead of the controller and playing the same worked fine. -- mykee mykee's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=39555 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79706 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I have a duet controller linked to a SB3 and mine plays fine, as does the SB3 remote and Ipeng through an IPAD Rod So you do get it to output sound through the duet controller speaker or headphone jack? I have no problem controlling the playback through the receiver, this is only when outputing the sound through the controller. -- mykee mykee's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=39555 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79706 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
