BANG !! It works ! I'm so happy, Michael you're a king ! After succeeding in solving the issue related to Spotty, I could not connect my radio to LMS. But Michael found immediately the solution : add Philippe 44's LMS to UPnP plugin to my LMS. And that's it. Now, my radio is recognized as a fake Squeezebox, and I can access everything. I have now to fine tune everything, but it worked almost at first shot, with standard installation (for spotty as well as LMS to UPnP). Conclusion : you can use standard internet capable radio with LMS. I've got a radio that can connect to the URL of an internet radio, or to the local audio files of my local network. So I had the idea to find a way to listen my Spotify playlists on this radio. You could actually try to tune in to http://yourlms:9000/stream.mp3. Hard to tell what you've done so far. I take it you have installed the Spotty plugin in LMS. But afterwards have you gone into LMS > Settings (lower right), then the Plugins tag. Once there find "spotty" in the installed plugins list. Then click on "settings" to the right of Spotty. This will take you to a page where you have instructions on finalizing the spotty install. It will tell you to start playing Spotify from your phone or tablet, then once playing, look on that device for available players icon. Click on this, and one of the options should be to authorize your LMS to work with Spotify. Once you've done all this, you should be able to go into LMS (or an app that controls LMS), choose "my apps", look for Spotty, chose it, then you can see your Spotify playlists, saved artists, albums, etc. You can browse these, click and play through any player connected to your LMS. Note, there is also a way to setup Spotify Connect with the plugin (instructions are on same page mentioned above). But another weird issue : The Informations tab mentions that the Plugins directory is : /volume1/@appstore/SqueezeCenter/Plugins But when I go to /volume1/@appstore/SqueezeCenter/ , there is no Plugins directory available ! There are different steps to use a plugin. 1) installing the plugin 2) making the plugin active, ie loading it 3) configuring the plugin. 2 basically is 1. Or they're the same. What LMS version are you using? Older versions had some issues installing larger plugins. Eg. don't immediately restart LMS when you're prompted. But leave it alone for another minute: it might still be downloading. Well, I thought I was explicite, but I'll try one more time. There are different steps to use a plugin. 1) installing the plugin 2) making the plugin active, ie loading it 3) configuring the plugin. The issue is at the step 2) After step 1), the plugin is not anymore in the "Michael's Slim Stuff" section, but in sort of "plugin available" section (my interface is in french, so I guess the translation of this section's name sounds like this). But not in the "Active plugins" section. We have to check the box to make the plugin active. So I check the box, and confirm by clicking "Apply" at the bootom of the page. At this time I have a popup that says that the serveur must be reloaded, so I agree and click "restart now". I reload the page after 1 minute or so, to be sure that the server is restarted... but the spotty plugins is still in the "plugin available" section, and unchecked. Which log should I look at ? There is a separate activation step for Spotty (unlike most plugins) because it needs to be connected to your Spotify account, but that is not done in the general plugins page (it's done in the "Advanced" page for the specific plugin) and it doesn't involve a check box. I don't recall it prompting a restart, although it might. Could you confirm which part is causing you the problem? Examining (or posting) the logs might help. I first just installed the spotty plugin, but the result was the same : the plugin cannot be activated. As my CPU is a x64 Intel, I thought I should add the arch 64, but this may be not required. Once the plugin is installed, it not activated by default. So I have to activate it. So I check the plugin Spotty. But once it is checked, it asks to restart LMS.
