Re: [Qgis-user] Grass Processing module r.resamp.rst only accepts integer resolution

2016-12-08 Thread Victor Olaya

Looks like the parameter is wrongly declared to be an integer. I just
fixed it in the current development branch. I will now backport the
change to the 2.18 and 2.14 branches, so the fix is available in the
next releases

Thanks for reporting this bug

Re: [Qgis-user] print only two atlas features

2016-12-08 Thread Alexandre Neto
Yes there is. Several options here since it's only two maps

If the other atlas features don't matter/show in the maps, you can filter
the atlas layer to those two features.

If not, in the composer, you can also filter the atlas features.

Or, you can use the atlas preview mode and preview each of the maps, you
can then export them using the export options that are not near the atlas
bar. They will export only the current map.

Hi Juerg,
yes, you have a filter feature where you can put an expression to only
compute Atlas on the matching features. It is in Atlas generation
configuration widget, in the foldable configuration tab.

[Qgis-user] print only two atlas features

2016-12-08 Thread Juerg Lindauer
Hi

I've created an atlas with about 360 features. After printing them,
i've found two maps with collided labling.
When i change the properties of the labeling, is there a way to create
only these two maps from the atlas? Without to print the whole atlas?

Lemme do some digging - I'm not entirely sure why yours isn't opening.

Are you in a Virtual Machine or installed on a computer? This is going

[Qgis-user] Grass Processing module r.resamp.rst only accepts integer resolution

2016-12-08 Thread Bob and Deb
Hello All,

I just noticed that the Grass Processing module r.resamp.rst only accepts
integer resolution (ew_res, ns_res). According to the GRASS docs, those
parameters are supposedly of type float:

*r.resamp.rst* [-*td*] *input*=*name* *ew_res*=*float* *ns_res*=*float* [
> *elevation*=*name*] [*slope*=*name*] [*aspect*=*name*] [*pcurvature*=
> *name*] [*tcurvature*=*name*] [*mcurvature*=*name*] [*smooth*=*name*] [
> *maskmap*=*name*] [*overlap*=*integer*] [*zscale*=*float*] [*tension*=
> *float*] [*theta*=*float*] [*scalex*=*float*] [--*overwrite*] [--*help*]
> [--*verbose*] [--*quiet*] [--*ui*]

This is happening with OSGeo4W 64 bit QGIS 2.18 . Greatly appreciate any
assistance!

[Qgis-user] my QGIS 2.18 won't load usgs geojson feed not a valid source....

2016-12-08 Thread Chris House
I am on ubuntu 16.04 and I am unable to do something i've done in
windows. I am trying to pull the geoson earth quake feed from usgs.

The link to the feeds is here...

http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/feed/v1.0/geojson.php

...the actual feed I used is this one (there are several on the above link)

http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/feed/v1.0/summary/all_month.geojson

I am told by my QGIS installation of 2.18 on Ubuntu 16.04 that it is not
a valid source. Anyone else have this problem and/or can get it to work?

1) add vector
2) change source type to protocol
3) encoding is set to win 1532
4) protocal type geojson
5)geoson feed url

Invalid Data Source:
http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/feed/v1.0/summary/all_month.geojson
is not a valid or recognized data source

Thanks for your help!!

Re: [Qgis-user] repeat arrow every kilometer

2016-12-08 Thread Andreas Neumann

Hi,

Have you tried using "Interval" and setting a distance with map units?
Assuming you use a meter-based coordinate system, you can then enter
1000 as distance.

Hi,

Is there a way to keep the errormessage that pops up at the top of the maparea

It is really annoying when the message disappears before you can read it.
Putting a close button next to it could solve this.

Well it works most other places...and it's still quicker for me to reach for

[Qgis-user] how to display a part of map

2016-12-08 Thread 李桐
hello,
When I first loaded a map,I want to display a part of map,I used
Qgsmapcanvas.setextent(),
But the map didn't change. The following code:
QgsMapLayer* Layer = new QgsRasterLayer("Resources/mapdata/zgc.tif",
"gdal", false);
if (!Layer->isValid())
{
//QMessageBox::critical(this, "error", "layer is invalid");
return;
}
QgsMapLayerRegistry::instance()->addMapLayer(Layer);
mapCanvasLayerSet.append(Layer);
mapCanvas->setLayerSet(mapCanvasLayerSet);
mapCanvas->setVisible(true);
QgsCoordinateReferenceSystem wgs84(4326,
QgsCoordinateReferenceSystem::EpsgCrsId);
QgsCoordinateReferenceSystem web(3857,
QgsCoordinateReferenceSystem::EpsgCrsId);
mapCanvas->setDestinationCrs(wgs84);
mapCanvas->setDestinationCrs(web);
mapCanvas->setCrsTransformEnabled(true);

QgsRectangle r(0, 0, 800, 800);
mapCanvas->setExtent(r,true);

mapCanvas->setCachingEnabled(true);
mapCanvas->refresh();
How to use setextent,and how to display a part of map,Can you tell me ?
Thanks for help!!

I think is generally a convention we should honer though the application.

Ramon, do you want to make a ticket and report any place that you find that
doesn't do it in there please.

If we have it all in a single ticket it's a bit easier to track and knock
off in bulk .

Hi Lene,

You can use the new Node tool prototype (works fine as a plugin) + the Advanced
Digitizing tools:
https://github.com/wonder-sk/CadNodeTool

See animation in the point 7:
https://github.com/qgis/QGIS-Enhancement-Proposals/issues/69

Hopefully the new node tool will be in QGIS 3

Cheers

Hi,
I have a lot of points which have to be edited in position.
Is there a way to manually edit a points x and y coordinate by writing ?

The idea of writing in the attribute table > exporting as CSV > importing as
text is not a solution :-)
