Re: CSEye wash
If the mites in the eyebrows are from the bedding, please put your bedding in a very hot dryer with a clean tennis shoe or balls or something to beat them inside the dryer. This works well for ordinary dust mites. Burrowing mites, like bird mites, or the kind dogs get, require more drastic treatmentbut why are they on your eyebrows. As Nenah said, make your silverwater only with distilled. I've never heard of a real person (some un-substantiated hype in un-real persons) hurting the eye using EIS in it much less to wipe the face with. BTW, one drop of clove oil in 2 oz of carrier oil (coconut, olive, avocado, palm, etc) will do wonders for no-see-ums on the skin. Clears my SIL's acne and her DH's jock itch. You are absolutely correct, Teri. Thymol is one of the primary oils in thyme and is found in the oregano plant as well. Thyme has been used since ancient times for it'sculinary and medicinal properties. Heck, I even throw a little thyme spice in the potwhen I cook a roast. I've used my Silver-Puppy-generated CS as drops in my eyes (for dry-eye) for years. It really helped the issue. Now, instead of Muro 128 (an opthalmic 5%saline drop for Fuch's endothelial dystrophy, I'm using 50% CS, 50% Manuka honey, with superior results in clearing the cloudiness of the fluid-logged corneal cells. Properly-made CS is a marvelous support for so many health issues. I'm not a doc, just an experienced Lymie lab-rat who's benefited SO much from researching and thinking outside the box.
