CSTHICK TOENAILS

2007-09-04 Thread JuGargo
The two paragraphs below were written in July, around the 10th ... I am
just wondering how these two people got the fungus on their toenails to
disappear/heal in the small amount of time that is stated? I started the
Vicks
regime on my toenails immediately after the discussion on this list ... for
almost 3 months now I have faithfully put Vicks on my toenails before going to
bed, I've lathered them heavily and put on a pair of socks. To date, my
toenails are still thick and ugly looking, maybe a little softer but I see no
evidence of any change whatsoever. Am I doing something wrong? I've had this
fungus on my nails for almost 30 years now, is that a factor? I've also read
about Hydroxen Peroxide and how a solution of half Peroxide and half water,
sprayed on toenails 4-5 times daily can get rid of toenail fungus ... any
other
suggestions?

Thanks, Judy

**I just wanted to let others know also that my mother now 83 has had
the same
problem and after using Vicks and applying to her toes for a month or so has
also solved her problem. I also had tried this in the past for a month or
so and it does wonders for the toenails. This was advised by her foot Dr.
and nice to know that there are Dr. around that try to treat things
naturally. Donna, Pa.

*My wife just rid herself of a 20 year toenail fungus on both big toes
by
applying Vicks vapor rub every night . The new nails took about 70 days
to grow out . They look good!!!

Re: CSTHICK TOENAILS

2007-09-04 Thread bbanever
Hi Judy,

I can tell you what worked for my toenail fungus and fairly quickly... a
product called Tri Quench (SSKI). It is an iodine compound with a Saffron
extract. Worked like a miracle after many years of trying everything else.
The nail will have to grow out after you kill the fungus, just put the mixture
under and on the nail, then cover with a bandaid. Do this once daily and clean
under the nail as much as possible daily as well as trimming it as much as you
can. It will take a long while, but you will notice new growth at the base of
the nail if it is working. Good luck. It is available from Jonathan V. Wright
MD., in Seattle Washington. Just Google it.

Re: CSthick toenails, Sock Process

2007-07-13 Thread Ode Coyote

Patents have become more about protection by intimidation than any
thing else...and a basis for a brag.
I think you'll find several on the same basic silver/aluminum idea, none of
which will hold up to scrutiny or challenge, with the original idea being
decades old, out of renewal date limits and in the public domain, if it
was ever patented at all.

The discoverer of Penicillin purposefully DIDN'T patent that discovery with
the INTENTION of it being in the public domain.
If that did what was intended, then anything you see before a patent is
filed, makes a patent filed on it worthless in every respect except for the
purposes of intimidation or making a brag.
Actually getting the patent approved is merely a reflection of the degree
of ignorance of the office workers that approve it, or a lawyers ability to
confuse them into thinking it's new.

Hit the online patent office and read a few. MY GOSH, what
bullshit. Thousands of words that say almost nothing.
9 out of 9.1 that are completely irrelevant or are nothing more than a
wordy description of a worn out old hat being called a new something else
because the dust on it was made to look different.

With millions of patents filed and almost identical in principle products
all over the place, how many ever go to dispute? Almost zero? Then how
many disputes are won? Almost zero again.

Another common trick is the Pat Pend sticker. Meaning, you did or
intend to file for a patent.
It doesn't matter if you get one or not, the sticker does the same
thing. It's a mental copy deterrence and a bragging vehicle with a sticky
backing.
If the sticker has a Pat Pend number, that just means it has been filed,
but may sit in a folder for centuries waiting for lawyers to get paid, or
may have been rejected. Rejected or not, the number is valid whether or not
it's still pending. [If the number wasn't just pulled out of an old hat ]
If it was filed with a lawyer, or a cousin, or the family dog...it was
filed. If it hasn't been granted, it's pending.

[Brag] We have a patent and we have a product.
Never mind that the patent has nothing to do with the product or that we
don't say *what* patent so you can find that out.

I intend to patent the wheel. I'm pretty sure that cave men didn't.
Be looking for my sticker.
Next, the stick.

Maybe the Ion [oops, Saturn did that already? ]
Copyrightsa whole 'nother story.

From what I understand, all that is done is that the fabric has silver

making the sock would be a lot more wok then the cost. of purchasing it

I don't think there is a patent on it. I have not seen any patent

published the information on it a decade or so ago, is probably not
patentable at all.

Re: CSthick toenails, Sock Process

2007-07-13 Thread Jonathan B. Britten

In Japan especially, the patent process is used to steal.

Matsushita Electric Corporation is often called Maneshita Denki --
meaning, Copycat Electric.

Some year ago an American ex-pat invented a very good drying lamp for
photo processing. Matsuhita stole his patented invention/design,
changed a few trivial details, patented each and every trivial change,
and sold the product for a lower price, bankrupting the inventor.

Side by side, the products were identical to the consumer. It was an
outright corporate crime, and it happens all the time here. It's one
reason Japan has so many patents filed domestically and in the USA.
Some are filed in order to steal, others to discourage stealing.
Whoever has the bigger legal team and more money and more to play the
game wins.

This is one reason that the ongoing corporate takeover of America --
including essential government functions, and even CIA intelligence
gathering -- is so worrying to those who know what's going on. The
damage has been and will be enormous.

Like any dissimilar metals and an electrolyte...
Silver, aluminum and conductive moisture form a battery.
Batteries work via ion/anion trading, producing electrical current.
In this case, silver ions leave the silver and plate onto the aluminum,
but many get lost on the way.

It's not a good battery, but the point is not producing current and you
don't need the giga-scads of ions per second that makes a battery a good
battery... so it doesn't have to be one.

I presume it also makes a micro current. [body electric style?]

Might be able to sprinkle silver dust on a sock and aluminum dust on the foot?

I am not sure it would be as effective. As it drys the particles
aggregate and many quite possibly react with trace gases containing
sulfur producing silver sulfide. The socks contain silver and another

Thanks! I believe Ode wrote about the aluminum in the silver bandaids, but
I didn't really get what it does. I can see where that would be good.
But if I ever get toenail fungus, I still won't have the wherewithall to
pay $25 a pair for socks, so I guess I'd be paining the nails and around

that really helped. A few months afterward I saw the blurb about selling

Have you tried supplementing with Vitamin D3?

Dan

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vitamin_D

Vitamin D is a group of fat-soluble prohormones, the two major forms of
which are vitamin D2 (or ergocalciferol) and vitamin D3 (or
cholecalciferol).[1] The term vitamin D also refers to metabolites and
other analogues of these substances. Vitamin D3 is produced in skin
exposed to sunlight, specifically ultraviolet B radiation.

Vitamin D plays an important role in the maintenance of organ
systems.[2]

Vitamin D regulates the calcium and phosphorus levels in the blood by
promoting their absorption from food in the intestines, and by promoting
re-absorption of calcium in the kidneys.
It promotes bone formation and mineralization and is essential in the
development of an intact and strong skeleton.
It inhibits parathyroid hormone secretion from the parathyroid gland.
Vitamin D affects the immune system by promoting immunosuppression,
phagocytosis, and anti-tumor activity.
Vitamin D deficiency can result from inadequate intake coupled with
inadequate sunlight exposure, disorders that limit its absorption,
conditions that impair conversion of vitamin D into active metabolites,
such as liver or kidney disorders, or, rarely, by a number of hereditary
disorders.[2] Deficiency results in impaired bone mineralization, and
leads to bone softening diseases, rickets in children and osteomalacia
in adults, and possibly contributes to osteoporosis. Vitamin D
deficiency may also be linked to many forms of cancer.

My toenails tend to get thick or thin out with regard to calcium

Right now mine are easy to cut which is nice. They sometimes get very

when they become moist, create a current that makes ionic silver and
colloidal silver on the spot.

That sounds high tech and efficient.

Can't you figure out the process so we could all do it?

Or, would that be patent infringement?

No doubt you have read the words,
Forbids all others from making, selling, or using.

Many people think they can make something for their own use and are not
infringing on a patent. That is not the way I understand it.

Once I knew a person that had a patent on a fancy machine.
There was only ONE, and that was all he wanted to exist in the world.

He had a problem with it. I said, I can fix it but he would not even let
me look at it.

I have friends that get patents and barely know how the machine works, and
cannot describe the problem they have.

Hmm, I wonder if the same effect could be gotten by dipping socks in

Has anyone ever tried that? I've heard of people spraying the inside
of tennis shoes with CS.
I am not sure it would be as effective. As it drys the particles
aggregate and many quite possibly react with trace gases containing
sulfur producing silver sulfide. The socks contain silver and another
metal, such as aluminum, such that when they become moist, create a
current that makes ionic silver and colloidal silver on the spot.

Thanks! I believe Ode wrote about the aluminum in the silver bandaids,
but I didn't really get what it does. I can see where that would be
good. But if I ever get toenail fungus, I still won't have the
wherewithall to pay $25 a pair for socks, so I guess I'd be paining the
nails and around and under with CS/DMSO.

CSthick toenails

2007-07-09 Thread Smitty

Does anybody in this group have a solution
for thick toenails ?
Is there something to either coat the nail with,
or soak them in some liquid to *thin* the nail?

thanks,
Smitty

Hi, Smitty, Thick toenails may have something to do with calcium balance .
My toenails tend to get thick or thin out with regard to calcium magnesium
balance. I've been getting conflictin information about the correct
balance. I used to think that they should be even up as to amount of each.
Right now mine are easy to cut which is nice. They sometimes get very thick
so that one almost can't clip them. Ruth

2007-07-09 Thread CWFugitt

Evening Ruth,

I used to think that they should be even up as to amount of each.

I wonder where you got that information?

For near 50 years, my idea is 1/2 as much magnesium as calcium.
The old standard was 1500 mg Ca and 750 mg Magnesium.

I see a lot of different number around today.

Never seen the even numbers anywhere.

  Sometimes, yes, and sometimes no.

I grow new toenails. They look great and are thin. Then at a later time,
they will thicken.

Many seem to think this is fungus.

A friend used gallons of CS and covered the toenails.
After a time, they were better. Seems it was two or three months.

My thumbnails grow fast and are very strong. I have never broken a bone
even from falling out of trees, automobile wrecks, motorcycle wrecks and
horses falling with me riding.

I think there his more to this problem than the Calcium / Magnesium problem
mentioned. It was suggested to cause the fungus.

In later years, the circulation in my legs is not as good as it was years
ago when I was running and jogging a lot.

Then, I supposedly have a heart valve problem from a strep infection. The
reason I say supposedly, is my ejection fraction test indicated 60 %. Some
say 55 % if normal.

I think the thick toenails are a symptom of several things combined.

Would like to hear other ideas and experiences.

Then again, I am sure age does not help it any.

Likely if we went barefooted, sun got to the feet, this would help some also.

Hi again, Smitty and Wayne, Age must not be the cause in my case. Right now
my toenails are just right . I will be 70 the day after tomorrow. As I
said, their thickness has varied off and on through the years, I too, doubt
if calcium magnesium balance is the whole story, maybe not even part of it.
Or maybe calcium is the only factor and magnesium has nothing to do with it
+ heredity. I just know that the thickness of my toenails varies. I do not
knowingly do anything to influence their thickness. Ruth

CSthick toenails

2007-07-09 Thread Shirley Reed

Have heard this is caused by fungus. Painting Lugol's over the nail,
under and around it, even over the whole toe--a few times will probably kill
it off. However, fungus is very hard to get rid of forever, so you may have
to do this for a little while. If you add some DMSO to it this will take it
in further and better, but lugol's will work by itself. On my own right
foot, the whole toe sometimes aches and the big joint where the toe joins
the foot also hurts sometimes. I have painted the whole area with Lugol's
and added some DMSO on a q-tip a couple of times and it sure isnt aching
now. In fact, what seemed like a young bunion is now smaller and not
'hurty' at all. Good for Lugol's!!!best wishes, pj

2007-07-09 Thread John McLean
I used to have a lot of toenail trouble caused by a fungal infection, I had
lost most of my big toe nails, plus others were badly infected but now I am
free of it!

After taking meds (didn't work), painting on the nails (didn't work) I tried
another approach and after buying enough silver sox to allow me a fresh change
each day, I am now totally free of any foot related fungus, totally gone!

As I am in Australia I bought them from a local company via the internet, they
weren't cheap cost me $25 a pair, but it was worth it.

Another surprising benefit is that for the first time in many, many years I am
free of foot odour too! And my wife can tell you it was bad!

If you want the web address of the company selling the sox, email me at
hr...@bigpond.net.au Please note remove the underscore ( _ ) between the e and
@ to contact me if you copy the email address as I have written it it won't
work. Spam is a terrible thing!

I do not have any commercial interest in this company, just a happy customer!
