Re[2]: Problems with Color Groups in Betas after 3.65?

Hello 9Val,

I have 8 filters that set color groups. Four filters assign a group
based on subject, and four assign a group based on from address.

9 Can you check if their conditions are common?

I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but each filter only has one
condition, checks for something different, and checks any folder.

If you need additional information, please let me know.

Thanks for responding (and also thanks to Stuart for confirming what

while my TB! folder shows 5 messages. When I look in my TB! folder I
see 10 messages, but 5 of them are duplicates.

Now that you mention it, in my case the problem seems to primarily
occur with filters that check the from address. Reverting to version
3.65, clearing the folder cache, and re-filtering still fixes the
problem every time.

Re: TB 3.70.03 doesn't remember my system hotkeys

2006-01-26 Thread Charlene Ferrara
Hi Charlene Ferrara,

Wednesday, January 25, 2006
you let us know -possibly edited- :

I once set up a system hotkey F5 for creating a new message and kept it
for several days, deleted it (= reset to system standard) which worked
until 3.70.03. Now I press F5 in Opera and TB opens. A look in my
settings reveal that F5 again is the system hotkey for a new mail to
 create.
I altered it again to default, checked it -works well. If I overwrite
the existing 3.70.03 with the downloaded one, it is reset to F5 for new
 mail.

A supplemental note on it: deletion is not sticky back to 3.65, no
version memorized my deleted system hotkey. I went back to the good old
3.02.10, deleted the annoyance, restared it to see if they're gone, and
now, 3.70.03, finally has forgotten to remember. Please, change it back,
someone at Ritlabs, in the next beta, to set the default to remember to
forget if once deleted.

Add Address in .02 .03

2006-01-26 Thread Richard Newman
Hello Batpeople,

When you click on adding an address from a message header, the Group
Selection Box is empty. When adding from the address book directly,
the groups appear in the Selection Box.

Apparent bug. Confirmed?

Well, I recovered my personaliced menus and toolbars. I had a
tbuser.EFF with only 2Kb. I deleted it an TB created a new tbuser.EEF
from my tbuser.def

It seems 3.70.03 don't loads tbuser.eff but when you closes TB it
writes the file with the loaded configuration.

 Works faster now.

While suffering the toolbar and shortcut problems, I noted messages were
taking a long time to load. I suspected my Internet connection. I
reverted to v3.70.02 to get rid of the toolbar/shortcut issues and
messages load a lot faster. shrug

I'm not sure what you mean. The address picker behaves as always over here.

SC Testing duplicates.

I sent the test message at which time I had 0 unread messages in my TB
folder. When the message arrived, it showed up as 1 message in my TB
folder where it was filtered upon arrival. My inbox showed 0 (1)
indicating that there were no Unread messages in the Inbox, but there
was 1 Unread message in a subfolder (ie TB folder). I waited a couple
of minutes to see if auto refreshes did anything, they did not.

I then pressed F2 (My Shortcut) to Check New mail for All, at which
point a duplicate appeared in my TB folder, although the count in
the folder remained as 1. The Inbox however changed to 0 (2).

Can anyone using IMAP, confirm my findings. You will probably have to
use the drop down to check all mail instead of my F2 shortcut.

I also apologize for not using IMAP in the subject so non IMAP users
could ignore this thread.

I marked your test message unread, making it the only unread message
in my account. I then hit alt-f2, which checks mail for all accounts
and did not duplicate your complaint.

I don't understand why you are using check mail for all accounts with
your IMAP account, since new mail always arrives in short order
without, and I think the refresh command would be the preferred method
with IMAP, but I don't have ignore check all mail command ticked for
my IMAP account so it did perform whatever gets performed with IMAP
accounts when requested.
