Remind later - how does that work?
 mid:[EMAIL PROTECTED]

And what then does 'Start this action only when notification is
 confirmed' mean?

Do you want it to open the message or do you want it to display a
notification dialog first (i.e., a dialog saying something along the
lines of You wanted me to remind you about this message. Here is you
 reminder.)

Ah ha! OK - now all is clear - thanks for your patience and clarity!

There have been issues with this for a while see my bug report from

I find that if I put a message into the outbox of my Exchange account
expecting it to be sent when messages are downloaded, it NEVER goes. I
have to do an immediate send when I create the message, or click on
the SEND button. The combined send and receive simply doesn't work.

By the way Marten, I saw your post about what it means and actions to
be taken when a bug is reported as wait verify fixed. Because of my
problem in receiving messages as stated before, I did not get that
thread. I intended to respond to it, but I cannot. So I guess the
couple of hundred messages that come at once are incomplete.

Anyway, the answer you got was not satisfactory to me. If the reporter
is to verify the fix and close the BT, shouldn't he/she also have
access to the build in order to test it? I have seen no announcements
of such builds, so I cannot know if the bug is fixed. This is
frustrating.

RO It sufficed for me when I restored TB to this system. That was two
RO years ago, but I don't think Ritlabs took features from the backup
RO system.

When I make a backup/restore, I expect the restored version to be a
clone of the backed up version. This is happening with my manual
backup. What TB does is a partial backup/restore, not a full one.

I don't think they took anything away (it was never any better), but
they forgot to include the tbuser.def.

Yes I have. It is NOT fixed, consequently I am still using 3.72.02. I
am having problems getting TBBETA and TBUDL, hence my delays in
reporting. My account is set up to receive all messages, not digests.
Yet I go a week or more without a single message then the flood gates
open and I get a couple of hundred.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

So, you would be right. And Voyager doesn't use any reg-keys.

However, it uses OTFE and the message base can only be decoded on the

from a backup drive.

I've got one folder with 23000 messages.

Select a message
Ctrl-* (expand all threads)
Ctrl-A (select all)

TB started with exporting more than 1000 messages a minute, but later
on it slowed down:
10 minutes: 11000 msgs
20 minutes: 18000 msgs
39 minutes: 23052 msgs (all)
During this action, TB was very unresponsive.

So you gain time when you'd export in batches of 5000 msgs, each batch
to its own directory.
