It may very well be that the search isn't working for you since, for message body searches, TB! queries the server and the search is done on the server. The results are then sent back to TB!. This why the search dialog just sits there claiming the search was done and no matches found. You wait and then the matches suddenly appear. Funny too is, that i can't quoute mails with F4, i only get a blank template - only a reply works. Do you first select what it is you wish to quote? F4 will quote only what you select. If nothing is selected, nothing is quoted. Hello TBUDL, i also tried out IMAP now and i'm confused, since there is no option to search, not even in the mail headers...
