Mahmud of Ghazni looted the Somnath Temple in 1025AD by completely destroying the structure of the temple and taking away all the precious materials from the temple. India has always been a victim of loot from centuries and this loot continues still date by various sources, including our own government. By the simple means of controlling the temple finances, the government of India is looting all its wealth and there is barely a record of this 'legalised' robbery being committed in broad daylight. The first official control of the religious places dates back to 1863 in the form of “*The Religious Endowments Act, 1863*”. The act nominates trustees to look after the affairs of the religious place and the government should abstain from the control. In early 1920 government saw huge treasures and donation in the temples and got lured into the riches it promised to the politicians and bureaucrats. Thereafter, in order to take possession of the treasures “*Hindu Religious Endowments Act, 1926(Act II of 1927)*” was enacted thus began the story of looting of Hindu temples. Under this horrendous act, *government can issue notification at any time and take control of the temple or other properties belonging to any Hindu temple* (only Hindu shrines, not the Muslims or Christian or any other religious shrines). In effect, property of Hindus has not been spared even after the Indian Independence; instead looting has started more vigorously and continues till date. “Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act (HRCE Act) in 1951” was introduced to take over the management of the Temples from under the pretext of preventing the 'mismanagement by Hindus'. The following are the glimpse of few famous loots by the government. The actual list is much longer: Andhra Pradesh Andhra Pradesh has India’s richest temples in terms of donation. Tirumala Tirupati Devaswom (TTD) commonly known as Tirupati Temple is the richest in India attracting donation of more RS 4000 crores every year of which around 85% of the donation is taken over by the state government. Even the prasadam for distribution is being procured from a Christian owned organization named JRG Wealth Management Limited. The government has spent lacks of rupees for renovation of churches in the state, along with payment of Rs 12000 given per person for HAJ trip to Mecca every year. Along with it the state has already sold more than 10 acres of temple land to outsiders throughout the state. Karnataka More than 5 temples have been closed down in the last five years in the state due to lack of financial help, instead to providing funds the government diverts the funds collected from the temples to other means. In the year 2003, Rs 79 crores were collected in the form of donations, out of which only Rs 10 crores were given to the temples on the contrary RS 59 crores were spent on Madrasas Haj Subsidy along with RS 10 crores on Churches. Kerala Under the “kerala Land Reform Act” the state government controlled by the communist party has sold out more than 2500 acres of land belonging to the famous Lord Ayyappa Temple to non – Hindus. The temple contributes Rs 250 Crores every year but now the temple is bankrupt. Over Rs 20 crores has been diverted from the Guruvayoor Devasvom temple for drinking water project in nearby panchayet which includes 40 churches and mosques. All the major temples like Mata Vaishno Devi temple, Kashi Viswanath temple, Jagannath temple and millions of other temple are taken over by the government to fulfill there lust for money. More than 80% population of India are Hindus, where in all states and union territories the religious minorities enjoys almost uniform law the same uniformity in law is not for the majority Hindus. Because Hindus now know what the Christians are up to, it is time to take some serious steps to counter the Christian propaganda and instill pride in Indians across the nation for their glorious past and distinguished Vedic heritage. *Lessons for Hindu Organizations from Joshua Project and Other Christian strategies:* There are a few important lessons for organizations working for Hindu cause from the data furnished by Joshua Project. Under the supervision of SIT, the customs and excise department has initiated proceedings for recovery of Rs 15,000 crore in tax evasion just from mis-invoicing. These adjudication proceedings will be completed within a fixed time frame and we can expect the money to come within a year, Justice Pasayat said. And surely, it couldn't be on account of tampered EVMs, about which he complained to the Election Commission. He is back to government, despite his inherent discomfort with it, and will have to overcome his addiction to the heady, irresponsible world of activism and protest. But who must he thank for this bonanza? Himself alone, or must he also thank the BJP, who from start to finish did everything possible for him to achieve not only his goal of capturing the Government of Delhi despite his previous shenanigans and betrayal of the people, but to also virtually sweep away both the dying Congress and the hubris-ridden BJP with his broom. For the BJP, it was a star-crossed campaign, starting with the timing of the election. Can BJP political strategists explain why Delhi elections were not held just after the Parliament elections, when Narendra Modi was at the crest of a wave, and Kejriwal was a demolished leader, a deserter? Then followed what appeared to be a calculated marginalisation of the established Delhi BJP leadership.. Harsh Vardhan, an extremely popular Delhi BJP leader and a continuous winner of five elections since 1993, was humiliated and removed as Health Minister. A charitable interpretation of this insult was that this would give him more time to concentrate on the impending Delhi elections, where he would be projected as the Chief Ministerial candidate. Instead, Harsh Vardhan was humiliated further by having his constituency snatched from him, a constituency he had won by more than 40,000 votes in 2013. Why a career police officer, who joined the BJP barely 22 days before the election, was suddenly catapulted into a highly contested election, and why the local BJP cadre was marginalised, if not humiliated, is also inexplicable. Such actions only confirm public comments that the BJP has fallen into the Congress high command mould, something that will cause costly political mistakes, Delhi being just the first. These perceptions do no credit to BJP's political decision makers, whoever they might be, and surely these same decision makers should be aware of the feedback — that they are seen as averse to having powerful and popular Chief Ministers, just like the Congress before them. Maharashtra, Haryana, and Goa are cited as examples. The Prime Minister must realise that such perceptions have already started denting his image. He must reflect on how to prevent further damage. I must also inform the BJP leadership that they are being perceived as having only aversion and scorn for known and unknown persons and organisations which supported them in their dark days, when the entire heft of the previous regime was out to destroy them and send them to political oblivion. Take the case of the powerful section of lawyers who sincerely worked for BJP's success, just as I did, during the entire election campaign last year. But the new dispensation showed their gratitude by ignoring them completely. When they turned against the BJP after Kiran Bedi was announced the Chief Ministerial candidate, even I could not succeed in changing their mind. Though still not the subject of public debate, yet I'm sure the BJP is quite aware that a large chunk of the AAP vote was the erstwhile BJP vote. Clearly, this was the answer that the Delhi BJP cadres gave to their dictatorial high command. One might just look at the simple arithmetic of Krishna Nagar constituency where Kiran Bedi lost by about 2,200 votes, which Harsh Vardhan had won by about 43,000 votes in 2013. Where did all of Harsh Vardhan's votes go? Call it sabotage or revolt, but most importantly, it is a lesson that BJP's highest decision makers must learn. Now, let's see how the BJP wooed the Delhi voter. I'm informed that the newly elected MPs remained uninvolved in connecting the party with the voter. Scrap FCRA, NGOs doing Church work with foreign funds: Experts *New Delhi:* * In the last decade, more than Rs 85,000 crore has come in for the NGO sector from global patrons. * Of the 40,000-odd NGOs registered under Foreign Contributions Regulation Act (FCRA), at least half do not file proper accounts with the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). * As per a report published by the Home ministry for the year 2011-12, there were 41,844 registered associations under the FCRA and some 22,702 NGOs reportedly received Rs 11,546 crore as foreign contributions. * As compared to 2004-05, the amount received in 2011-12 was up by 85 percent (from Rs 6,257 crore to Rs 11,548 crore) and their number 38 percent (from 30,321 to 41844). * A total of Rs 1,16,073 crore was received by the NGOs between 1993-94 to 2011-12. Only about 55% NGOs gave audited account. * Among the list of donors, the United States tops the list (Rs 3838.23 crore) followed by the United Kingdom (Rs 1219.02 crore) and Germany (Rs 1096.01 crore). * A majority of donors, including the top three, are church-based organisations such as Compassion International USA (Rs 183.83 crore) followed by Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, USA (Rs 130.77 crore) and the Kindernothilfe e.V. (KNH) Germany (Rs 51.76 crore). * Of the top 15 donor agencies, 13 are related to some or the other Christian sect. Over 90 percent of the top 30 recipient organizations are engaged in missionary activity. * The highest amount of foreign contribution was received by the following Christian organization namely World Vision India, Chennai (Rs 233.38 crore), followed by the Believers Church India Pathanamthitta, Kerala (Rs 190.05 crore) and Rural Development Trust, Ananthpur, Andhra Pradesh, (Rs 144.39 crore). * To put this in perspective, India’s total defence allocation (2011-12) was Rs 1,64,000 crore. What harm did Hindus do to Islam that they should be targeted like this? In the answer to this question lies the concept of the divide or ‘fault lines’ as Huntington calls it. Harvard’s Samuel Hunting-ton is famous for his thesis on the ‘Clash of Civilisations’. In a simplified formulation it is this: The Cold War of economic and political ideology is no more relevant because of the disintegration of the Soviet Union. And hence, according to Huntington, it will be replaced by a new conflict caused by a civilisational divide induced by religious fundamentalism. Christians, Jews and Hindus will have to band together on one side of the divide, to confront terrorist Islamic ideology. China faces the same problems with Islam, but it has been kept under wraps and away from media glare. China will be for now a passive partner in this divide. Confrontation, as in the Cold War, will be inevitable. If indeed Christians, Jews and Hindus do forge an active alliance, Islamic terror will be no match in the ensuing context and confrontation. Such an alliance is being facilitated ironically by Osama Bin laden and his ilk against whom it will be directed!! Osama, Zarqawi, Moussauvi, and others Islamic terrorists are already propagating that Christians, Jews and Hindus are enemies of Islam. Hindus are already targeted in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh and within our nation, such as in Kashmir and Mau just because they are Hindus. Recently, in Doda, Hindus were first segregated from Muslim residents, and then shot dead mercilessly by Pakistan based Islamic terrorists. Close cooperation between India, Israel and US is already covertly and overtly beginning to happen partly in response to Osama’s threats and Islamic terrorism. Cold War hangover and vote bank politics in India however is delaying the fructification of a formal alliance. But if the Hindus consolidate into a vote bank, instead of being divided in castes, regions and languages— thus rendering each Hindu segment a smaller vote bank than Muslims— then US-India-Israel alliance against terrorism would be easy to effect and make into a natural compact. India shall not then be inhibited by any fear of voters’ religious backlash. Hindus once sufficiently consolidated should insist that Muslims in India must acknowledge that their ancestors are Hindus and that they are proud of the lineage. Those Muslims who claim that they are descended from Babar, Ghazni or Ghori have no right to be in India or at least a voter. A separate country of Pakistan was created 1947 for those Muslims who do not consider Hindus as part of their family tree. An India that is perceived as a land of Hindus and those whose ancestors are Hindus is Hindustan. The Indian identity is thus established, and Hindus , Muslims and Christians become equal legatees to the glorious continuing Hindu civilization. The US, Israel, and India can confront and easily pacify militant Islam and it’s murderous terrorists arm by a combination of zero tolerance for terrorism, selective regime change where there is a brutal pro-terrorist dictatorship, and by commercializing new energy sources such as hydrogen fuel cells and thorium refining that will undermine the oil-financing capacity for terrorists. This three pronged approach will decimate and castrate Islamic terrorist movement. The problem is thus tractable and can be solved within a decade. However, a new problem will arise thereafter that will confront the Hindus, namely that arising from proselytising crusading Christian missionaries under the guidance of the Opus Dei and the Vatican, and concomitantly from US-based evangelist organisations. These outfits are alarmed at the decline in Christian population and adherence to the religion in Europe. Hence, it had been decided in a conclave in Dallas in USA held in September 2005 that in one decade hence, a billion people would be converted to Christianity. Obviously, Hindus would be a target for this conversion goal-in fact for India the goal set in the conclave by Reverend Pat Robertson is to convert a 100 million Hindus to Christianity. The Pope of Vatican who came to India in November 1999, surprisingly on the invitation of the NDA government, declared in New Delhi that Christian missionaries would work to make the 21st century a Christian one for Asia. Social Identity* Most of us have an identity card or a social security card. In addition we carry a visiting card mentioning our status, qualifications and job details. When we come home we belong to a particular religion, may be a sub-division of that religion. In addition we are also male or female, father or son and husband or wife. Our identity depends on the relationships we have with various persons or institutions. All our interactions with fellow humans are deeply influenced by our understanding of the above identifications. Vedanta says that this is not your real identity. When a person is stripped of all the above identities, he is merely a human being. He is equal to any other living being. Like all living beings he exists, he experiences the world with his senses and feels happy or unhappy. He has a physical body, supported by some energy system based on intake of food, five senses perceiving five different things and transmit to mind where these impressions are processed and collated and the ‘I’ in him is happy about it. *9.2. Evolution of the Body-Mind Complex* Our Vedic sages speculated on the formation of the physical body and told interesting facts. In the earlier chapter on creation we learnt that it is consciousness which is manifesting in different ways, starting from a blade of grass to mighty animals. We saw the lines from the Upanishad saying that the five elements – space, air, fire, water and earth appeared from the Supreme Being. Ironically, the Supreme Brahman has no doer-ship, we saw. A manifestation in Brahman, called *māyā* was the material cause for all the creation. Maya cannot be anything other than consciousness. It is in fact, comparable to the giant wave, which we saw in an earlier example. This was called *Iswara*, the over lord of the universe. The actual process of evolution of body is like this. The creative power *māyā* is said to have three characteristics or tendencies in it. They are called *gu**n* *a-s* which are called *sattva,* rajas and *tamas*. This is a postulation based on a lot of empirical observation. If we observe human nature we find three tendencies. Some are quiet, contented, peaceful and contemplative type. Some are aggressive, acquisitive and dominating type. Some others are lazy, slothful, lacking in initiative and dull type. The psychologists may call them personality types, but this is the observation of the ancient sages. All human activity – good, bad and ugly – is the result of the three *gu**n* *a-s.* This can be seen in animals too. Some are quiet and bovine, some are aggressive and some are lazy (python). It is also observed that the food we eat influences our minds because of the three above noted characteristics in that. Some types of food cause quietness and contribute to health. Some cause heat in the body and related changes while some others cause dullness of mind. The depressants are derivatives of such food types only. The sages observed the three dispositions or tendencies in everything in the universe. The *Bhagavad Gita* says that there is nothing in the universe which is not a product of the above three tendencies (18-40). *Māyā*, otherwise called* prak*ṛ*ti *is the source for everything in the universe. The above three *gu**n* *a-s* intermix in infinite number of combinations and produce the diversity in the universe. The first fall out of this is the five elements which we know – earth, water, fire, air and space. These five elements too have the three *gu**n** a-s *in them, which lead to further evolution. All living and non-living things are products of the five elements only. The *sattva* component of the elements evolves into the mind and senses of all animals, including man. The *rajas* component of the elements evolves into the organs of action (hands, feet and other limbs) of all animals. The *tamas* component of the elements evolves into the gross elements around us. We have five senses, each sense able to cognize only one sense object. The nose can only notice smell, the eye can only notice form of an object and so on. The mind is able to cognize all the five sense objects. Senses and mind are said to evolve as follows. The *sattva* component of space is said to evolve into the sense of hearing. The *sattva* component of air is said to evolve into the sense of touch. The *sattva* component of fire is said to evolve into the sense of sight (fire also gives light). Know the Architects of Hindu Terror

It was designed for a two-fold purpose – to create a façade of confusion about the real terrorist perpetrators of 26/11 by creating a fog of Hindu Terror. The second purpose is an outcome of the first – break the Indian national spirit and depress the Hindu community in India, seed a violent communal civil strife and deeply polarize India. However, this game of fomenting the concept of Hindu Terror in order to keep the majority community divided could not have been played without the collaboration of some anti-national Indian stakeholders in the political, government and institutional set-ups. In this high stakes intelligence game an innocent Indian army officer – Lt Col Srikant Purohit – was made the fall guy. This article is a revelation of how Lt Col Purohit became a pawn in the hands of Indian collaborators based on official documents that are contained in the confidential files of the Government of India (GoI). Intelligence records available with the GoI reveal that Lt Col Purohit was consistently sending ground reports from Maharashtra on an array of fringe groups, some of whom were sourcing training on a range of militant activities. These confidential documents available with the GoI show that Lt Col Purohit was diligently doing his job as an intelligence officer. His accurate warnings and intelligence report had already alerted and warned the GoI of trouble brewing in Malegaon. It is important to remember that separately and co-terminus with this timeline, another plan was brewing in Karachi and elsewhere in Pakistan for a terrorist attack on Mumbai. To understand how Lt Col Purohit became a pawn in the hands of those in India, Pakistan and the US to create a narrative of Hindu Terror. To understand the trajectory of terror from Malegaon to Mumbai 26/11, it is important to keep the following triangular reference frame in mind: A simple internet search on links between the CIA and ISI throws up more than a million results in less than a second. Let us accept the evidence submitted and accepted in the US Court trial of David Headley and the admissions made by the US Government agencies during the course of this trial. On January 24, 2013 a federal judge in the US sentenced American David Coleman Headley's to 35 years in prison for his role in organizing scouting missions for the 2008 terrorist attack on Mumbai that killed 160 people. During the trial Headley revealed to the Court that the ISI helped Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) execute 26/11 attacks, Further, lawyers during the trial firmly established that Headley was a double agent working for the CIA and ISI. So after years of accumulated evidence, finally, it was a terror related trial in a US Federal Court which established a fact that was already well known to Indian intelligence agencies – That the CIA and the ISI were involved in major covert operations in India. It is important to remember that in the immediate aftermath of 26/11 initial reports from India suggested that some outfit named Deccan Mujahideen had claimed responsibility. However, very quickly this decoy was demolished thanks to the capture of Ajmal Kasab by the brave Mumbai police constable, Tukaram Ombale, and other evidence such as phone intercepts, recovery of weapons and other items including the seizure the boat and dinghy used to by the terrorists to reach the Mumbai coastline. Imagine if Ajmal Kasab hadn't been captured alive! One cannot rule out the possibility of the discourse of 26/11 shifting entirely to Hindu Terror. Vigorous attempts were anyway made to portray the Mumbai Terror attacks as such. If these are the two base points of triangular reference frame to understand terrorism in India in the post 9/11 world, the third of this triangle dwarfs all others in its strategic significance. The third point of this isosceles triangle was an ISI covert operation, which was aimed at breaking the spirit of the people of India with the help of Indian collaborators. Its objective was to erase and eliminate the discourse on Islamist and Jehadi terror and replace that discourse with a narrative of Hindu Terror. The strategic design was to create a new terror calculus to change the discourse on terrorism in India and by doing so make the majority Hindu community feel humiliated and lose self-respect. This would have facilitated the creation of an unquestioned space for the insertion of a countervailing narrative to cover up all Islamist Jehadi terror attacks as Hindu terror. In 2005, after getting spectrum licence, and short of funds, he put it out that he was looking for foreign direct investment (FDI). Maxis approached him incognito through the Standard Chartered Bank. It is now alleged in an FIR of the CBI that at that stage the then telecom minister, Dayanidhi Maran, entered the scene. According to Justice Shivraj Patil Report (available on the DoT website), Maran misused his office to arm-twist Sivasankaran to sell all his shares in Aircel to Maxis in January 2006. Whether that was a drama by Maran and Sivasankaran or real, only the Supreme Court inquiry will reveal. Sivasankaran, however, agreed to sell. But there was a problem: FDI rules require an Indian partner to hold at least 26 per cent of the equity for the deal to be okayed by the Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB). Three months earlier to January 2006, it was at least 51 per cent, i.e., an Indian must be majority partner. Maran got that changed to just 26 per cent and the Indian partner to be in minority. But Maxis owner TAK would have none of that. He wanted Aircel to be a wholly-owned company of his. That was against FDI rules. So, Maran was in a fix. His brother and owner of Sun TV, Kalanidhi, was promised Rs 800-crore bounty for his media venture by TAK, and he was salivating furiously. Enter P. Chidambaran (PC), the Dawood Ibrahim of Indian finance and Jesus Christ in Lok Sabha. He was then as finance minister, which meant the ex-officio chairman of the FIPB. In January 2008, PC had advised A. Raja on “share dilution” which landed the former telecom minister in Tihar. Similarly, Chidambaram advised Maran to devise a trick: form a joint venture with a young ambitious entrepreneur, all expenses paid. Thus they found Sunita Reddy part owner of Apollo Hospital. Thus Deccan Ventures came into being, but it was joint only in name. By using a financial derivative, Maxis owned all of it. With the money thus put in, Deccan purchased 26 per cent of Aircel. That is the main purpose, he added.The Supreme Court-constituted SIT, which has former Supreme Court judges M B Shah and Arijit Pasayat as Chairman and Vice-Chairman, recently submitted its latest report on black money menace, wherein it has disclosed tracing of Rs 4,479 crore held by Indians in a Swiss bank and unaccounted wealth worth Rs 14,958 crore within India.In this report, the SIT pointed out that more than 25 countries have made tax crimes a predicate offence.India is seeking cooperation from a number of foreign jurisdictions, including Switzerland, in cases of suspected black money, but its requests have been turned down in maximum number of such instances as tax evasion is not dealt under strict criminal laws, unlike money laundering provisions.To deal with this issue, the SIT has suggested making tax evasion of Rs 50 lakh and above a 'predicate offence', saying this would enable easier investigation into tax evasion crimes under the stringent laws of money laundering as stipulated under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).Pasayat said there is also a need to limit holding and transportation of cash and to check large-value 'unreported' cash dealings that are rampant even at public places like shopping malls. MADHAV NALAPAT New Delhi | 13th Dec 2014 Key officials and others are working overtime to block, or at a minimum, delay, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's reform agenda. These individuals are part of the Swiss Club whose core consists of 11 politicians, 16 serving and retired senior officials, four lawyers and six business executives, each having substantial illicit accounts in offshore havens, and who have for decades acted as agents for foreign entities eager to dump overpriced products in India. The existence of the club was first revealed in the 2 November 2014 issue of this newspaper (*Officials confident PM Modi will prevail over 'Swiss Club'*). While honest officials committed to Prime Minister Modi's reform agenda are seeking to undo the attempted sabotage of the Modi reforms by the Swiss Club, the latter are concentrating on tarnishing the reputation for probity and efficiency of Prime Minister Modi. The political base of the NDA government rests on a single brick, which is public faith in the integrity and commitment of Modi, and it is this that is planned to come under attack. To generate scandals about the Modi government, selective leaks are being planned of those instances where the Swiss Club, taking advantage of the lack of administrative experience of several ministers, is conniving at short-circuiting of procedures, which then could be subject to adverse interpretation in the courts. An official gave the example of some coal allocations (including that made through a government trading entity), which has reportedly dispensed with the earlier policy of allocating coal to the first three bidders, with L1 getting 60%, L2 25% and L3 the balance 15%. This, officials say, has been altered to give the top bidder (L1) the entire allocation, a change in policy which has angered entities left out of the allocations. Although such decisions may have been based on merit, yet it would be easy to levy charges of favouritism in Parliament and the media, these officials warn. Another claim is that there has been a delay in filing FIRs against some of those named in the HSBC list of account holders. The real purpose behind such leaks would be to slow down decision-making once again to the crawl that was present during the UPA decade, said a senior official, who pointed out that there was a much higher level of efficiency shown by the Modi PMO as compared to the Manmohan Singh PMO. Another attempted scandal-in-the-making concerns a senior opposition politician, who has been reported by officials as trying to ensure that a Mumbai-based construction mogul escapes from legal difficulties connected to the 2G scam. The ex-minister has reportedly warned that he would expose individuals in the present dispensation if the construction mogul as well as two reputed hawala operators now under arrest were not let off. Officials committed to the PM's programme say that they are confident that PM Modi will reject any pressure and that he would allow the law and the facts to dictate the decisions of the government, no matter who gets affected, even if they be from his own party. The Swiss Club is busy seeking a season of scandal commencing early next year to recreate the Commonwealth scam period, this time with the NDA government in the dock. It may be noted that members of the Swiss Club abuse each other in public, but work jointly in private to protect each other and their friends. They are also active in tarnishing the reputations of those opposed to them, often by using their influence in the Income-Tax Department, CBI and other agencies for the purpose, besides of course the media. An official claimed that the club began its work of sabotaging the Modi government immediately after the 16 May 2014 poll victory of the BJP, when information about individuals being considered for top posts was deliberately doctored, so that those close to the 'Swiss Club' had their records expunged of misdemeanours, while those opposed to the club were accused of wrongdoing of which they were innocent. Naturally, as such assessments were secret, those against whom false allegations were made were unable to defend themselves, especially as such charges made in secret were usually followed by false information fed to media channels to publicly blacken the names and records of those opposed to the Swiss Club. Officials warn that the influence of the club on tainted elements in the government's investigating and reporting machinery gets used to try and ensure that only those regarded as favourable to the Swiss Club get into key positions after vetting, with those outside the club's influence excluded by untruths and innuendo retailed in secret. The first instance was in March, when the Amicus Curiae first came to assess the situation in the temple. According to sources under condition of anonymity, a letter was written by the Expert Committee set up by Honourable Supreme Court of India to Shri Sukumara Pillai, Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of temple security, seeking permission to take sealed stainless steel boxes which contains some important documents from work area to Expert Committee office as per instructions from Amicus Curiae. The letter was dated 29 March 2014. Lt Col Bhuvanendran Nair, Temple Executive Officer made it clear that the box will not be allowed to be taken out, unless he received a written letter granting permission from the Amicus Curiae. Later Amicus Curiae send a letter asking to release the sealed container. However, in spite of the Amicus Curiae's letter, the officer denied permission as the box was sealed, which was not done in the presence of any temple authority. The sealed stainless steel box carried from work area to the expert Committee has been checked by the Guard Commander. But unfortunately the box is sealed and the sealing was not done in the presence of any Temple authorities. There is a need to explain further on this, says the letter by Bhuvanendran Nair. Also a Malayalam media house which claims to have exposed the matter has stated that they possess all documents and letter transactions facilitating the lootThe fate of the box containing the treasure, however remains ambiguous! It is the duty of the state government to conduct an inquiry regarding the same. With devotees having every right to know if any foul play has been committed or not, it is important that the Amicus Curiae comes clean in this allegation. This is the desperate, heartbreaking outburst of Rinkel Kumari, a Hindu girl aged 19, who has entrusted her heartfelt appeal to the judges of the Supreme Court in Islamabad. Her story is similar to that of many other young women and girls belonging to religious minorities - Christians, Hindus, Sikhs, Ahmadis - kidnapped by extremist groups or individuals, most of the time lords or local mafia, which convert them by force and then marry them . And that is what the girl said on 26 March, before the judges of the capital's court. The drama of Rinkel Kumari, a student of Mirpur Mathelo, a small village in the province of Sindh, began the evening of February 24: A handful of men seized her and delivered her a few hours later into the hands of a wealthy Muslim scholar, the man then called her parents, warning them that their daughter wants to convert to Islam. Nand Lal, the girl's father, a teacher of an elementary school, accused Naveed Shah, an influential Muslim, of kidnapping his daughter. The man has the political cover provided by Mian Mittho, an elected National Assembly Member, suspected of aiding and abetting. After identifying the perpetrators of the kidnapping of his daughter, he was forced to leave the area of origin to escape the threats of people affiliated with the local mafia. The father found refuge and welcome in Gurdwara in Lahore, in Punjab province, with the rest of his family. As often happens in these cases, even the judiciary is complicit: a local judge ordered that the girl should be given to the Muslims, because her conversion is the result of a spontaneous decision and also stated the marriage was above board. A claim that was repeated on February 27, at the hearing before the court, after which the girl was renamed Faryal Shah. However, the story of Rinkel is not an isolated case: every month between 25 and 30 young people suffer similar abuses, for a yearly total of about 300 conversions and forced marriages. Hindu girls - but also Christian - who are torn from their family and delivered into the hands of their husbands / torturers. On March 26, she appeared before the judges of the Supreme Court in Islamabad, while the Hindu community waited with bated breath for the girl's statements in court. To avoid pressure, the presiding judge ordered the courtroom cleared and - later - the dramatic testimony was relayed: in Pakistan, there is no justice, kill me here but do not send me back to the kidnappers. While on the way back I was reflecting on the last ten days – what did we achieve, what were the outcomes for India and that is when I thought I should also share some thoughts with you through my Blog. To begin with, it is vital to understand the historic uniqueness of this visit. In the case of Australia, this was the first bilateral visit by a Prime Minister of India in 28 years. Fiji witnessed such a visit almost 33 years back. On one hand, the IT and Communication revolution brought the world closer but on the other hand, we could not reach the shores of these two countries, each important in its own way, for almost three decades. I thought this must change. I attended five Summits including the one with leaders of Pacific Islands that I hosted in Fiji and met 38 world leaders. The number of full bilateral meetings I had stands at 20. In fact, I had the opportunity to meet leaders from every part of the world! These meetings were frank, comprehensive and fruitful. We covered substantial ground on several issues. I met a wide range of business leaders as well. During these bilateral meetings, I noticed one thing- that the world is looking at India with renewed respect and immense enthusiasm! I see a global community that is tremendously keen to engage with India. With every leader, we discussed how we could make our relations more extensive, diverse and wide-ranging. Strengthening trade and commerce and drawing industry to India was a central part of the discussion.Numerous leaders I met were very optimistic about our ‘Make in India’ initiative and are keen to come to India and be a part of the extensive and diverse opportunities India has to offer. I see this as a positive sign, one that will bring several opportunities to India’s youth and give them the right exposure that will make them shine. Such exposure has become imperative keeping in mind the pace at which the world is developing. Several world leaders also showed keenness on our plans to create ‘Next Gen Infrastructure’ and smart cities. I had the opportunity to address the Parliaments of Australia and Fiji during this visit. Coming from the world’s largest democracy, it is always heartening to visit these temples of democracies and to share thoughts from within the hallowed portals of their four walls. There is no bond that is stronger than a bond between two democracies. On one hand it gave me an opportunity to reach out to the wider political leadership of these nations and on the other hand it opened new avenues for co-operation. Once again, the lawmakers were very upbeat about India. Both addresses were a first for any Indian Prime Minister. In fact, I was told that my address to the Fijian Parliament was a first by any world leader. This is not a personal achievement, but it is a reflection on the respect that the 125 crore people of India have in the eyes of the global community. At the G-20 Summit, India placed the issue of existence and repatriation of black money at the forefront of the world community. I am glad that the world community took note of this because this is an issue that does not selectively affect one nation. The menace of black money has the potential to destabilize world peace and harmony. Black money also brings with it terrorism, money laundering and narcotics trade. As democracies firmly committed to the rule of law, it becomes our obligation to collectively fight this evil and there was no better occasion than the G-20 to raise this. Our efforts paid off with the official communiqué reflecting this issue. The ASEAN Summit was an opportunity to engage with the Leadership of ASEAN nations as we discussed how to deepen engagement both as a group of nations and with each Nation individually. It is my conviction that ASEAN and India can explore new frontiers together. We share the bonds of culture and history and at the same time are blessed with the vigour and energy of our youth. I discussed affordable housing with PM Razak of Malaysia, energy issues with the Sultan of Brunei and urban development issues with PM Lee Hsien Loong of Singapore. In Fiji I met with leaders of the Pacific Island Nations. This is a region that is important to us. Sadhhvi Pragya Singh Thakur - In the past few weeks, l met her a few times. I have known her for a long time. It has been more than fifteen years since I first met her. She has been in imprisonment for past six years on allegations of participation in terror activities. The smile on her face comes from a deep sense of contentment, peace and faith in divine power. It is a highly inspiring experience to meet her. Every time I have walked back home after seeing her, I have realized my own smallness and also the pettiness of all troubles that I have ever faced in my life. It is knowledge that is to be worshipped not money. One who is bereft of knowledge is a beast.”* Global Hindu Heritage Foundation (GHHF) is very happy to know that you are working tirelessly to revamp the school curriculum from Class I and all the way up to college education to reflect the true nature of the cultural heritage of Bharath. You should make every effort to incorporate the rich cultural heritage dating back to thousands of years, morals that were the pinnacle of the country, and the scriptures that have addressed any and all issues you can find under the sun. Emphasis should be made to assure that values, morals, and character development from age five and up should be at the core of our educational system. This kind of value system would instill confidence, trust, conviction, and faith in the universal principles, and develop self-awareness and determination to succeed. It should mold, shape and chisel the personality of the students. Till recently, most of the books written by “Marxists, Muslims and Western historians” are so slanted, abusive, hateful, repulsive and intolerable to the true history of India, so derogatory to the national freedom fighters, so demonizing to Sanatana dharma, so negligent of the contributions of great emperors to establish Hindutva, and so boastful of the Muslim aggressors as contributors to the Indian culture. Dr. Subramanian Swamy was calling for burning of the writings by Nehruvian historians. We feel that its is time to fire all these left wing historians who have stabbed the Mother India for many decades and employ those scholars who appreciate the richness of the Sanatana Dharma into National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) , National Censor Board and other agencies. It is time to reclaim what is lost, revamp the whole school curriculum, and rewrite the history debunking these leftwing Nehruvian historians. Following are the topics that should be included in the curriculum depending on the level of education: *Bhagavad Gita.* Mere chanting of few verses is enough to awaken the consciousness of the individual and maintain the balance between the body, mind and soul. In fact, it improves the brain capacity to absorb the knowledge; teach the individual the responsibility of their dharma; emphasize the importance of bhakti, Jnana, karma and raja yoga; equip the individual fearless and give the needed strength to face the problems at hand; encourages one to think and uphold the dharma to protect human existence; and so on. No age is bar to learn and chant Bhagavad Gita. As young as three year olds chant the divine song. Its message is unmatched, unparalleled and unrivalled. He taught us to be a perfect son, a perfect brother, perfect husband, a perfect enemy, and a perfect king. He taught us how to live according to dharma in the face of un-surmountable hurdles. Lord Rama, who is known for his compassion, gentleness, kindness, righteousness, non-hatred, and integrity, has served as role model for all of us to follow for millennia. His respect for father and obedience to his command was unparalleled that all humanity should emulate. From its base in Erbil, the team has brought relief in the form of food, water and hygiene products to 5 different camps, each camp sheltering 550 Iraqi families. IAHV has reached more than 2,000 families. Click here to download the report on relief efforts by IAHV The living conditions of the refugees are extremely poor. In Duhok there are 100,000 refugees, and only one small camp. Most of the refugees are not living there but on the streets or in unfinished buildings because the camp is in terrible condition. It is very unhygenic; there are no blankets, coolers or food. There are no bathrooms or toilets. The children are all getting skin disease because of the unhygienic conditions. Currently, they lack even the most basic items for survival, such as food, clothing and hygienic kits. They are in a very poor psychological state. One such example is of a refugee who had 37 people in the family taken by ISIS. Thousands of women are abducted, gang-raped and sold in markets. Duhok needs additional camps with conditions that meet basic human needs to be lived in. The IAHV team also went to Mount Sinjar to visit the camps where Yazidis have taken refuge. Two graduates of IAHV’s Community Leadership Training program interviewed Yazidi families to document their plight and need for immediate aid. One of the graduates and her father, Bareza, are taking much needed action to aid the Yazidis. Additionally, three Kurdish Members of Parliament who recently participated in IAHV’s TLEX training in late June 2014 also came to the aid of refugees visiting the camps, meeting refugees and assessing their needs and distributing relief items (see below photos). Though brief, it has remained very vivid in my memory.It http://memory.it/ was in 1940 that one day one of the devotees sitting in the hall raised the topic regarding the utility of reading books on religion and philosophy. In reply Sri Bhagavan said, You wake up in the morning and look into the mirror and the mirror shows you that you have a growth and that you have to get... rid of it. You may go on looking into any number of mirrors; every mirror will tell you the same thing, but no mirror can ever shave you. You have to shave yourself. Instead of wasting time looking into mirror after mirror it is best to start shaving after having looked into the first mirror and known the truth. So also all books will tell you the same truth, perhaps in slightly different ways. Instead of wasting time reading book after book why not realize for yourself what was obvious from the very first book. Here I do not have pressures, or worries, or fears... Nothing and nobody can influence me... I can think... see things as they really are... I am sitting like an observer, seeing through two windows... These windows are my eyes... I am not my eyes... I am aware of who is looking through these eyes, a tiny sparkling star like energy, the soul... I am different from everything I am seeing... I perceive that separation between the observer and the observed... I observe the things that surround me without judging, without analyzing... I simply observe, remaining at peace with myself... I see this world as a stage of a great unlimited theatre play... each human being is an actor, a soul playing their own role via their physical body... I simply observe from my inner room... things come and go... nothing is permanent... I do not need to worry about anything or anybody... I let things be... flow... I am at peace... calmed...
