[tw] Re: No Decryption button after encryption
I forgot to mention, as an all out emergency, you could simply open the TiddlerEncryptionPlugin tiddler, it's documentation includes a 'Decrypt All' button, which you can press. Also, never, ever, edit the actual encrypted tiddler content - you can edit the tags, but if you fiddle with the encrypted text itself, you won't be able to decrypt it. ...Lyall On Oct 17, 3:33 pm, Lyall <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > If you have no custom ViewTemplate tiddler, the decrypt button appears > next to the Edit button. > > If, however, you have a *non-shadow* ViewTemplate, you will have to > put the 'decryptThis' text into the toolbar, manually. > > How you do this, depends on whether your ViewTemplate includes the > latest 2.4 updates or not. > > Refer to > thishttp://groups.google.com/group/TiddlyWiki/browse_thread/thread/4dd4d5... > thread for more details. > > ...Lyall > > On Oct 17, 12:20 pm, "Mark S." <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > Hello, > > > I'm trying out the TiddlyWikiEncryption plugin. [tw] Re: No Decryption button after encryption
If you have no custom ViewTemplate tiddler, the decrypt button appears next to the Edit button. If, however, you have a *non-shadow* ViewTemplate, you will have to put the 'decryptThis' text into the toolbar, manually. How you do this, depends on whether your ViewTemplate includes the latest 2.4 updates or not. Refer to this http://groups.google.com/group/TiddlyWiki/browse_thread/thread/4dd4d57b66f9b545# thread for more details. ...Lyall On Oct 17, 12:20 pm, "Mark S." <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hello, > > I'm trying out the TiddlyWikiEncryption plugin. Note: you will also need to change the references to these tiddlers in [[QuickEditToolbar]], which should then be renamed [[QuickEditToolbar_es]], and then update the ViewTemplate reference accordingly. [tw] How to escape newlines?
Hi everyone, Is there any escape newline character(s) in TiddlyWiki? How do I escape newlines? Googled for it, but found nothing. For example I have a table with multiline content: |1.Order the T-shirts for the Development team2. Announce availability3. Write the code4. Write the manual5. Hire a Product Manager6. Spec the software (writing the specs after the code helps to ensure that the software meets the specifications| Note, that I have no trouble using as manual line breaks, I'm perfectly comfortable with it. But because I frequently edit the table, when editing I'd like to see something like this: |1.Order the T-shirts for the Development team\ \ \ 2. Announce availability\ \ \ 3. Write the code\ \ \ 4. Write the manual\ 5. Hire a Product Manager\ 6. Spec the software (writing the specs after the code helps to ensure that the software meets the specifications)| Is there a way to do this? [tw] Re: Problem with CheckboxPlugin or TiddlerListMacro or TableSortingPlugin
Thanks Eric, As I have said before I always learn more than just the resolution of my problems from you. Match tags seem to give me problems with all my special character tags, which I tried to use to differentiate system tiddlers and system tags from Data tiddlers, and although as you discovered not the case here, I expect they will continue to give me grief, so a re-engineering is due. I thought it was a good idea because I have Objects eg .task .contact .projectTask beginning with a period, Catagories with ;financial, status with =wip =completed etc... However now I use NewHear it is easy to have these tagged with object catagory status etc... and use references and other methods to track back. Yep tiddler %title Exists Yep replace(/%title/g, "%8") Fixes it I presume using the /Parameter/g form should be changed in all the parameters below so If I have more than one usage of the respective parameter it will work ? replace("%link", "%0").replace("%item", "%1").replace("%abstract", "%2").replace("%text", "%3").replace("%created", "%4").replace("%modified", "%5").replace("%modifier", "%6").replace("%group", "%7").replace(/%title/g, "%8").replace("%tags", "%9").replace("%nolink", "%10").replace("%custom", "%11") I will try and communicate this finding to Jaye park the author. Thanks again and I WILL ENJOY ! > You cannot use tags that start with "="... > As you've used it, the result of the above syntax is to set > config.options["urgent"] > and > config.options.["WIP"] I spoke too soon. I seems that I actually *do* allow tags that start with "=" to be used to track a checkbox state. Based on your description of the problem, it seems that some of the checkboxes are sharing the same 'target' location. This would occur if the "%title" marker in the itemTemplate param isn't being subtituted correctly... ... a quick check in the code for [[TiddlerListMacro]] reveals this line: pItemTemplate = ...replace("%title", "%8")... Note the use of the "replace(...)" function. The first param in this function is the pattern to match. Note also that, in order to match *multiple* occurences of this pattern, the function needs to use a regular expression syntax that includes a "global" flag, like this: pItemTemplate = ...replace(/%title/g, "%8")... otherwise, only the first occurence of "%title" is replaced... which produces *exactly* the results you observed: the first checkbox in each row works as intended, but the rest all seem to be tied together. This is because the resulting 'target' for those checkboxes is always "%title|=id", where '%title' is used as the tiddler title, without being substituted. I'll bet that if you try this again, you will find that a new tiddler with a title of "%title" is being created and that *it* is being tagged with the checkbox state info. I suggest using some other plugin to generate the table... perhaps MatchTagsPlugin, ForEachTiddlerPlugin, or a custom inline script (with InlineJavscriptPlugin). Can anyone help me on this; I am not sure which plugin is responsible, but the full functionality of CheckboxPlugin is not working. Using the following Plugins http://jackparke.googlepages.com/jtw.html#TiddlerListMacro http://tw.lewcid.org/#TableSortingPlugin and of course http://www.TiddlyTools.com/#CheckboxPlugin The First Tiddler below "calls" the second. the Result is a lovely table listing selected Tiddlers in a created order and the table can also be re-sorted and the existence of tags displayed/changed with a checkbox. This is so unbelievably useful. However the first check box displays the status of and toggles the tag "=WIP" for each individual tiddler correctly however the second and third toggles all checkboxes at once. eg; if I check one box in the second column of check boxes and all of them will be checked, as well it does not apply the tag to all the checked tiddlers. This would be a great feature if one could choose to use it however I cant seem to stop it happening and cant apply the tag to individual tiddlers which is my objective in this case.
