Indeed it haven’t been resolved and i even sent a screen recording to apple 
support and to see it not being resolved in this update is a big shame also the 
horrendous battery drainage issue hasn’t been resolved either.

Heaven knows what has been fixed not much from what i am seeing.

Hi all I have contacted the development of this app to ask them to make sure 
they update it we have all paid for this app so should also make sure that we 
contact them so I urge everyone to send an email to the developer that way we 
can get the product that we have paid for

I am thinking of getting an ipad and want to know what the difference is
between the ipad pro and the ipad mini and if there are any differences when

I wonder if someone could help me with the above 2 apps.

 

I have downloaded them but when I try to play them I double tap on a peace I
need to move and then double tap on the space for it to go but nothing
happens can anyone tell me where I am going wrong.

 

I know that these apps are for use with voice over but I can't get them to
work and I have not had any response from the developer to my email to them
so I hope someone here can help.

fantastic and the creator should be very proud of themselves not all game 
platforms are multi platform games.

 

I for one am very pleased with this but I can see your point of view as well 
just wanted to let everyone know it is a multi platform product so just think 
of it as being able to play on your phone in your lunch break and then use the 
laptop/pc when you get home this is a bargain!!!

Also, I can get an app for free to play plenty of those games too. It's called 
DiceWorld, and doesn't use some fancy UI that doesn't even use Voiceover. So 
while y'all RS-games folks have to listen to what's going on, I can have my 
phone in my pocket and my braille display in front of me, dicing along. I know, 
most don't care about that, but being able to quickly feel the numbers rolled 
during Farkle without having to spend several moments waiting, for, TTS, to,

I've not been an RSS games player, but this might be worth checking out.

RS Games shuts the box on only computer playing, goes Apples to Apples with iOS

Earlier today, RS Games announced on Twitter that there is now an iOS version 
of its service available. The app, was developed with Kid Friendly Software 
features many of the gestures and voice settings found in the conventional 
Blindfold series of games.
While the app is free, not all games are free to play. The games that are free 
include Slots, Blackjack, Pig, and Driedel. All other games come with a free 7 
day trial which starts the first time you launch them, whether you play them 
right away or not. Once your trial expires on a specific game, you can then 
continue to use it via an in-app purchase. All other games that are currently 
on the RS Games Server are available for purchase. The prices on games ranged 
from $2.99 for a few of the games, up to $5.99 for monopoly. There are also 
bundles available which allows you to save a few dollars. You can pay for 
unlimited access to all games for $37.99. After downloading the app, you will 
find more details under the upgrades button.

This news will have players excitedly downloading the games, the developers 
encourage players to check out the User Guide under the help button before 
trying to play. From the limited testing I've done before writing this article, 
the gestures appear to work well, and so do the keyboard commands if quicknav 
is disabled. Unfortunately, even though there is a setting that is designed for 
braille display users, none of the spoken feedback comes up on the braille 
display during game play. This was tested under 2 different iDevices with 2 
different braille displays. However, for a 1.0 release, it seems quite solid 
based on initial testing.

this problem is everybody happy for me to forward the emails I've received to 
Apple so that we can show them that everybody is having problems if this is 
okay and if the moderators are happy with it please let me know and I'll do my 
very best to make sure we get this straight through to Apple direct

Help with iTunes

Hi all please can some one tell me how I can select an album in iTunes so I can 
convert it to MP3 format

All I get when I am in the list of albums table is jaws saying blank or it 
doesn't say anything at all

I have a load of photos and videos on my iphone that were from my old pc
that crashed beyond recovery and need to get them from my phone to my new
pc.

 

Please could someone help me.

 

On my old pc you used to be able to see all your photos in windows explorer
but now nothing shows up.

PROBLEM WITH BACKING UP USING ITUNES.

Please could some one help me.

 

I have just ttried to back up my iphone 5s with itunes 12.1 and I got the
error that stated that the backup may not be compatable with this iphone or
may be corrupt is there a way I can get round this.

 

I have installed itunes from scratch so it has created a new itunes folder
and still I get the error.

No, don’t uninstall iTunes, the difference between your setup and Tom is most 
likely due to what sort of view Tom has selected. I prefer to use the column 
browser where you have 3 list views for Genre, Artist and Album in addition to 
your entire song list.

I haven’t listened to Tom’s Podcast and don’t know if he has his iTunes set up 
this way, but if you want to use the column browser, do the following:

 

1.   Open iTunes and press Control+F to go to the search field.

2.   Now tab, for me the first tab takes me to “Search options”, after that 
I get some radio buttons which start with Music, then Movies, the TV Shows and 
so on. This may be slightly different for you since I can’t remember what is 
there by default. Anyhow, the last one of these radio buttons which should 
definitely be there is “More”.

3.   If you tab past “More”, you should get another series of radio buttons 
which are as follows: My Music, Playlists and iTunes Store. If you have your 
iPhone connected, I think the iPhone is first after “More” and before “My 
Music”.

4.   Now, this is where it counts, after you tab past the iTunes Store 
radio button, you land on a button which could say any of the following:

 

Songs

Albums

Composers

Genres

 

If you activate the button and then tab once, you land in a list which should 
look just like what I wrote above and you can arrow up and down in that list. 
If you want the column browser, you have to make sure that you go to “Songs” 
and then press enter on it which means the button will say “Songs”.

 

If you do this and you now tab again you will be in the Genres list view, then 
in the artist list view, then in the album list view and finally in the list 
view with all your songs.

If you select a specific artist and tab to your songs list view, then you will 
only see the songs from the selected artist. Similarly, if you have, for 
example, 3 albums from one artist and you select that artist int he artist list 
view and then you select a specific album from that artist, then only the songs 
on that album show up when you get to your songs list view.

tom, this is a nice podcast however I am not getting the same results as you 
when navigating ITunes 12. Ctrl 1 will take me to Music and ctrl F will place 
me on the search library field but then there is no resemblance to your 
results. When pressing f6, I go to a list of the songs in my library instead of 
the tree view you get. Is there some setting which is causing me to get a 
different result? do you think I should uninstall ITunes and re-install it?

I purchased KNFB Reader this morning and tried it with a few printed documents 
including a plain letter asking for a donation, an invoice and something else. 
I used the phone in portrait mode and also had the letter size document in 
portrait mode. KNFB Reader did an outstanding job on the letter and I had very 
good results from the invoice and the other document. The app is outstanding 
and I have already deleted Prizmo and Text Grabber from my phone since I don’t 
see myself using them any more now that I have KNFB Reader.
 
The tilt feedback via vibrations is very useful and the field of view report is 
amazing. The fact that it tells you whether you are holding the phone even the 
slightest little bit turned with respect to the page qlong with which edges are 
visible is awesome.
As Jonathan already pointed out the recognition is lightning fast and what I 
really like is how simple the app is. They have definitely outdone themselves 
with that app.
I have yet to put it through its paces in other situations, but I am already 
very happy about my $100 investment as I know that it will be of much use in 
the years to come.

Hi Krister, hard to know what you're doing without seeing what you're doing, 
but the one thing that comes to mind is, are you holding the phone lengthways 
or sideways? I find I get the best results by putting a page of text on a 
table, like I would be reading it in Braille or visually. Then hold the phone 
sideways a few centimetres above the page. Use the vibration feedback so that 
the phone stops vibrating, indicating you have the angle right, then take the 
picture.

i would not cancel  them just wait until you have internet access and then go 
in to itunes on  the phone and click on continue download. if this option is 
not available and the icon is on the phone doubble tap on it and it will resume.

Hi Unfortunatley i didn't backup my books and music to i cloud as only had 5 
gig of memmory and my old iphone 4 had 15 gig of music on it this encluded my 
audio books.

audable books not playing

Good Morning All,

I wonder if some one could help me.

I have downloaded several audio books using the app store with apple, which
are from audable.

When I had downloaded them and tried to play them nothing happened.

Please could some one tell me of a resolusion or what I need to do to get
these books playing.

If someone could help me I would be most grateful.
