Hi,

I'm sorry from further reading you didn't get the resolution you 
wanted.  I've found that sometimes if the app misbehaves it's best to 
disable all notifications I've set within the app and then re-enabling 
them being careful to be sure my designated place for them when required 
is set. It wouldn't cost anything but a bit of time and effort to give 
that a go if you haven't already.

Another thing to try is choosing the Pause Notifications
button, then choosing the one to resume.

No you need to reconfigure your notifications within the app and reset up the 
ones you want.

I uninstalled, rebooted the phone, and re-installed Weather Gods twice. I

Regarding Weather Gods notifications, I was not receiving them either. All I 
did was open the Weather Gods app and let it just kind of stay on for a couple 
of minutes and then before I knew it I was getting notifications so it all 
seems to work good for me now.

I’m really sorry that things aren’t working for you with this app. As for the 
reset network settings, you would go to settings, general, transfer or reset 
iPhone, reset, and finally reset network settings. If you decide to do this, 
you will then need to put back in your Wi-Fi password and rename your iPhone 
afterwards. I’m sure we can help with that if necessary. Resetting the network 
settings is one of the tools that is often used to try and fix things.

I have the iPhone 8, running IOS 16.2. Weather Gods support sent me a link to 
an article about things to try if you've stopped receiving notifications. The 
first ones don't apply: my phone is not on Do Not Disturb; notifications are 
not inadvertently turned off, and my news and delivery apps still send me 
notifications. The article refers to a "reset network settings" under General 
settings. I find no such thing. I am coming close to deciding that the app is 
becoming too complicated to be workable and that I should cancel my 
subscription and uninstall.

Yes my notifications came back this morning. so it does take a little 
time to get things working again after reinstalling weather gods.

I opened Weather Gods a few minutes ago and found a bunch of specific, configurable notification settings. We'll see if anything happens now that I've activated some of these.

I've done everything as well. There was no notification at 7:00pm last night or 7:00am this morning. My next steps are to write to the developer and perhaps, ultimately, to cancel my subscription and uninstall the app.

When I got my notifications back, I went and deleted a city I no longer needed. When I did that, though, for a few hours after that, I still got that city notifications. I’m only saying this because possibly it may take a few hours for your notifications to come back. Another thing to try is choosing the Pause Notifications button, then 
choosing the one to resume.

Yes, I do have the $1.49 per month subscription. If I’m on the main screen of 
the app and I flick to the right once past settings, I see how many 
notifications are enabled for the active city and I can double tap on that and 
find a pause notifications button for the particular city. Or if I actually go 
into settings and then keep flicking right to notifications, once I double tap 
on notifications, the first thing I hear there is pause all notifications, and 
if I flick to the right one more time from there, I hear the button for the 
morning and evening schedule.

Did you pay for an in app purchase for Weather Gods? Don't recall whether there 
was a charge for the app back in 2019 when my husband installed this app. 

He does not have anything about restore purchases. The only thing that there 
seems to do is to purchase an upgrade for certain features for $1.49 per month.

Under his notifications for the app, it says that the notifications have been 
paused and that you can turn them back on in the device settings but there is 
nothing regarding this under notifications and settings other than 
acknowledgments.

Under My Account in the app store, I find buttons labelled Purchased, 
Subscriptions, Notifications, Redeem Gift Card or Code, Send Gift Card by 
Email, Add Money to Account, Set Up Family Sharing, and Personalized 
Recommendations. My apps are all up to date, so the list of recently updated 
apps appears below those buttons. At the bottom of the screen is a sign out 
button. I'm not finding restore purchases.

I’m guessing you’ve also gone into settings, my account, restore purchases? I 
lost my notifications as well, and I am thinking the restore purchases is what 
did it for me to bring them back.

HI Kathy,

My husband Grant used to receive notifications from Weather Gods also but no 
longer does.

He also has an iPhone 8 running IOS 16.2

He thinks that perhaps they want you to pay for this feature now or that is how 
it appears. 

It's too bad!

I used to receive notifications from Weather Gods: one in the morning and 
another in the evening, and additional ones in the event of severe weather. My 
iPhone 8 is running IOS 16.2; Weather Gods version is 3.9, which is the latest 
one. I stopped receiving notifications weeks ago. I've settings within the app 
and in the settings app and don't see anything amiss. I'd welcome any 
suggestions. Thanks for any help.
