Re: Questions regarding Apple TV
Terry, if you actually ask for the subscription from the apple TV app you will not need to put your apple ID in, but the subscription will be in the app store for you to stop or restart as you wish. Yes, any programs you want to watch will be available in its app, but if you go through the apple TV app you will be taken to the app automatically. Also, if I go to an app and ask for a show there if it is attached to the apple app that show you started with the app will now be shown in the apple TV app. Netflix is one that does not sync with Apple TV app. Hope this helps. RE: Questions regarding Apple TV, and paid subscriptions, and other content
And if you don’t mind spending another $20 then get the most excellent book “The Apple Of Your Eye” written by Jonathan Mosen which tells you everything you want to know and probably more about the Apple TV Fourth Generation. But I have some concerns. It seems so different, and so new from what I already have. I honestly wish that I could just stick with what I have. But I realize I can't. Anyway, it seems as though it is going to be something new for me to learn. While I love to learn, I don't like complications, or things I don't understand, or things I struggle to understand. This is very frustrating! I did find a refurbished 64 gig, AppleTV, at Best Buy. I believe the cost was $160. If I am remembering correctly. I am assuming this is a good deal? So here is what I would like to know. I have a subscription to Netflix, I have a subscription to Hulu, and I have a subscription for CBS all access. I love them all. Sometimes I think I'm not I like Netflix the best though. Anyway, if I purchased the new generation Apple TV, will I still pay for Netflix, and Hulu, and CBS all access? If so, that is most perfectly fine. I just wanted to make sure that I was understanding things correctly. No I don't really know if I need a 64 gig Apple TV. Mainly, because I don't really understand what you can do with it that is supposedly so great! I mean, I don't want to put Spotify on there, or tuning on there, because this is why I have my iPad mini. I put all those sorts of things on there. So why would I want them on both, or on all three of my products? To me, that just doesn't make much sense! Also, I don't play too many games on my iPhone, and I don't have any games on my iPad mini. That's the way I prefer it. So why would I want games on my Apple TV? To me and AppleTV is were just that, TV. So what other apps are on the new generation of Apple TV? I know what's on the one I have now, and I know I have to pay for some of them, in order to use them. I don't have cable. So a lot of stuff I can't seem to use anyway. With the newer generation, is it the same sort of deal? Do you have to have a cable subscription, in order to watch a lot of what is on there? Or are there apps that you can watch for free? If so, what are some of them? What kind of content do they show? Please someone help me understand why upgrading is so important? Besides the fact that I can't update my Apple TV. Please help me understand that there is a reason to do this. I don't get it! I will admit that. I also don't understand why we would want to add a bunch of apps onto the AppleTV. Any thoughts, help, suggestions, or advice would be very much appreciated! Thank you, Get Outlook for iOS -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
