Douglas The machine appears to now have a new home. I will try to find where all the software went, I know there was an appleworks or similar spreadsheet programme at one stage but the basic use of the machine was to run titrations so this may have disappeared. Re: iPhone 4
Hi Adrian I don't have an iPhone 4 as yet, but I'm 99% sure it will just plug into anything the previous iPhone's did. As Apple didn't change the Dock Connector, so it's still the same as the previous models. Just the shape of the iPhone changed. Depending on your model car, there are lots of different Bluetooth things that can work. If it's something you want to just plug in, then Belkin and Kensington and companies like that make things. If however you want to get something hard-wired into your car, then you either contact your car manufacturer to see what they do for it. Or you can contact clients of mine, called Install-a-gadget. If it plugs into a car, they can pretty much install it. (They even do those cool under car lights etc.) You can contact them on 0414 433 899. Either Kylie or Paul. Just say I referred you, and they'll look after you ;) Hope that helps. Re: Sick Mac Mini Question
Yep. If you're seeing Kernal Panics when you try and boot off DVD and after you've reinstalled the Operating System then its fairly likely that its Hardware. Might be faulty RAM or possibly a failing Logic Board. If its still under warranty fire it in to an Authorised Apple Hardware Tech and they can diagnose it for you pretty quickly. If you want to play with this more yourself you could try reseating the RAM or removing one stick and seeing if the problem goes away. If it doesn't replace and try removing the other. Good luck. There aren't many around these days, so I was hoping to jump to a saving-to-disk solution. We have a large CRT tv (3 years old) plus a set top box to receive digital. I have been considering getting an Elgato Video Capture Cable but we will still need either a Mac Mini or a laptop (or a keyboard) plus other bits as an interface. We are not quite ready to buy a digital tv, and we only want to record and replay tv programs. My main question to you is, do you have a used laptop with the right specs for sale? Intel Core Duo processor 512MB of RAM Built-in USB 2.0 port Mac OS X v10.5.6 Leopard or later QuickTime v7.6 or later iTunes v8.1 or later Any info or advice will be gratefully received. Re: Citrix client setup
It depends what's running at the other end. I have clients who access the Dep Mines Petroleum database using just the Citrix Web Plugin. My wife is able to access her work environment also using just the web plugin on her Macbook Pro running Snow Leopard. She goes to the secure gateway via Safari and when she logs in the plugin activates and she enters the PC environment. Hi Yes I use this for Tengraph, a government tenement mapping program. I couldn't make any sense of it when I first read up on it and gave up. I just went ahead and downloaded it and it just worked! Thank heavens. I don't know if this is of any help, but that's all I did. Re: Sick Mac Mini Question
It does sound like a hardware issue due to the fact you are still getting panics from the dvd, ram is the most likely cause but there are many things that could cause it. Fortunately ram is well priced these days if that is the issue..
