Well without stirring the pot too much, I'll just say that I personally think
the top DJ's are those that play the smaller venues, week after week to keep
the enthusiasm for the music going itself. I also realize these lists are
generated to appeal to connections in the industry and a larger

We saw the movie Across the Universe last night. In a
part of the movie the Detroit riots were addressed in
a rather emotional (and musically soulful) way.
It looked like most of the film was shot on location
(Princeton, Liverpool, etc.) Anyone know if they shot
the Detroit scenes on location
The promo clip definitely isn't easy to watch. I
wonder though ( to play devil's advocate) if the aim
of the film makers is to glorify the violence, or tell
the story of much of the population of Detroit.The
