Re: [6lo] Adoption call for draft-gomez-6lo-blemesh
With many positive responses in the mailing list on adoption call and the comments from BT-SIG on this draft, The draft-gomez-6lo-blemish is now a WG document! Carles, please submit the document as WG -00 document after the IETF. I support the adoption of this document. We can use existing network topology of each 6lo link layer technologies but it is more better to explore network topology. In the 6lo-blemeth document, it enables IPv6 over BLE networks of a more complex topology than just the typical BLE star topology. I think that this kind of topology can enhance IoT services and use cases. Best regards. YongGeun. Re: [6lo] Adoption call for draft-gomez-6lo-blemesh
Hi all, I did not recognize blemesh for what it is. This document is interesting because BT in general has a large industrial support. It is very important that this document is written in collaboration with the BT sig. Learning that this is indeed the case, I support the adoption of this document fully. Re: [6lo] Adoption call for draft-gomez-6lo-blemesh
Hi Pascal, Once we adopt the document and discuss changes in the document by WG, the relevant contributions should be added as a natural process. If you have any particular ideas or anyone you think would be relevant to comment on, please let us know. I am not clear on "many areas" you referred below. Did you mean that the draft should collect input from detnet WG or any other group? Ultimately, we would like BT vendors to adopt the IETF protocol and for that it'd be wise to work closely with BTSIG as you would agree.
