Well, if you have syncronized contacts with your gmail id, then you will get
them back the moment you sign in with your id in another mobile.
However, worrisome part is nowadays people use sim to get OTP and operate
the bank account

Regarding your contacts, if contacts (on your phone) were synchronized with
your email or other online account (gmail etc) then they can be retrieved
easily. Or if you have backed them up on some other device, then you may
get them. But if they were there only
