hi All,
recently,
Google is ending support for less secured apps like outlook and not for
MSOffice. If one still wishes to use outlook for Gmail access, he/she may go to
google account settings and activate 'access to less secure apps, or one may
generate a 16 digit key to login to gMail.

switch to use dedicated passwords for outlook access. I am using gmail too and
have not received any such notification.

Gmail web also has a feature of turning on desktop notifications but I
haven't tried them personally myself.
Since I use Gmail both on Web and my account linked to Outlook-that is
where the problem lies, Resume.
Google is labelling these as less secure apps, and hence I will not be able
to use my gmail account on Outlook. That is the context. Apologies if I
have not been clear enough.
I have been
Outlook belongs to Micro Soft company I don't know how and why google
will end support for Micro Soft. if you want to use outlook for office
work then you can go for web version outlook. if you want email client
for personal use then there are few open source apps like Mozilla
Thunderburd. I
Hi Payal,
Maybe I don't have enough context here and I am assuming that you mean
"Microsoft" instead of "Google".
Once the support ends you won't get any technical support from the company
in case of any issues but you can still continue using the app.
