IE 8 has got the same hot keys as that of IE7 and few examples are as

Shift + Enter Open in a new window
Ctrl + Tab Open in a New Tab
As such, apart from the bulleted links, I am able to open every link in
a new tab using the latter hot key and this is because IE8
