Hi,
I wonder if the drm product is still on the TSM cd , and if it still
can be enabled thru a license, which was the case with adsm.
The tivoli web-site give me the impression that DRM is now a seperate

We are planning for an upgrade of our adsm 3.1.2 to tsm 4.1 on which we use

Hi Ron, yes DRM is on the 4.1 CD and it is enabled by a license.

Well, to correct it, you might start the scheduler for each node as a
cluster service that never fails over to the other node. That way, the
service won't start up until that cluster node is up and it will only see
the drives that you have assigned to the node.

I need just to restore the volinfornation of a volume on a client Novell.
My question is if I run:

I will restore just the volinformation I don't need the data .

It sounds like I first want to see about getting whatever is necessary to

The files previously backed-up stay pinned in *SM. "Forever" is a long

Hello All,
Scenario:
- Do a MKSYSB to a flat file
- Backup the image using TSM
- Create a backupset of that image to tape or a CD
- Use the image to recover a server.
Would this image be bootable?? What are the possible problems or
limitations

Try the following. That's a suggestion from Oracle.
You can perform join on RC_BACKUP_PIECE and RC_DATABASE_INCARNATION to get

when ADSM asks for a tape to be mounted r/o, the robotic unit mounts it
