Was yours acting up before the issue? This AP had been slowly loosing
TX power for about 2 months.

Yeah, the 1000 (AP) was nice because it could do 22v-56v, with any polarity
or pinout, so it worked with just about any power supply you could throw at
it.
The 2000 is 48v only, the 3000 is 48v only and the 3000L is 24v only. The
only ePMP radios that cared about POE polarity were the 1000 SMs
Well that means epmp 3000 and 3000L both do both polarities. That's good.
Unfortunately, it's 48v and 24v respectively.

The spec sheet for ePMP 3000 actually says 56V 802.3at
The spec sheet for the ePMP 3000L says "29V Cambium PoE"
The spec sheet for the ePMP 3000 Micro says "802.3af or 802.3at or 56VDC

So be careful what we mean by "ePMP 3000".

Well, the hood is actually a very good thing for the ePMP 1000, because
those tend to leak around the connectors if you don't tighten the nuts down
(they came way too loose from the factory). The ePMP 2000 comes with a hood
that you can use on it when it's pole mounted, but other than that, I've
No... just make sure you seal the connectors properly, and it'll be fine.
Sectors don't really *require* a hood either, it just makes our lives a bit
easier.

I've got a ePMP 3000L on a KP omni antenna and it doesn't have a cover
for it. Does it require the hood like on a sector antenna?

Is anyone using the SFP Port on the EPMP 3000? I have a site where I'm
having lots of problems with the Copper Ethernet. The Ethernet port
never bounces and will instantly negotiate any and all 1G, 100mb and
10mb data speeds, but I have a lot of packet loss getting to the AP.

Are you saying Force 200 to a 2000AP both on latest firmware will lose QOS?

I haven't been following any of the 3000 Hype. Can you drop an EPMP3000

radios? Do you get any benefits without the Force300 SM?
