Why exactly? Just asking. I'm wondering if we should be doing cheap PTP
with ePMP or AF5x. I have several Force110 links up (just SMs, not PTP)
operating all across the 5GHz bands. And one 10 mile link with Laird 2'
dishes using connectorized non-GPS radios. Other than some oddities like
I installed mine last Friday. I've had it lock up 8 or 9 times as of today.

I know my non GPS ePTP mode radios are locking up. You can access either
device locally but the wireless is busted.

Is it possible to buy just the radio part? When we have a failure we just
swap out the radio. I must have 30-50 new dishes and mounts on the shelf
with no radios!!

The PTP radios with the gigabit port can do almost double the PPS - given
that that's an issue with wifi-chipset-based radios when links get loaded
or you're using VoIP, may be worth the extra investment.

Is that Air rate you are quoting ?
256QAM on a 10meg channel falls short of 100MBps ...

I suspect these are the same antennas sold in the US under the name Wiess:

I've been wanting to try their 2.4 GHz 22dBi version, but it has been out
of stock for a bit.

Holy crap. http://www.weather.gov/lot/10Jun2015
I think we're gonna have to climb and see if any antennas got
complimentary speed holes. If any of the AF24's we have in Minooka got
hit, I'll label them airHole (just for Ken) and try to get UBNT to
replace them under the refurb program. :)
EPTP mode fills the latency fix.
My first attempt at AF5x and it won't even register. I'm trying to replace
Rockets that link up at -66. I'm told that there's a path issue or bad
radio.

I looked into getting some of their antennas awhile back. they seemed to be
willing to ship from China, but they didn't seem interested unless I bought
a large quantity.

I think they were at WISPAmerica in Little Rock, so that's probably how they
got my email address. The ad they sent was about the dual pol grids and had
the first 2 links I posted, when I clicked I saw the weird horn on their
website which is where I got the 3rd link. Nothing more to it.
