I think Chuck's GigE-POE-APC uses the same connector.

I changed out some batteries in a Smart-UPS 3000. I have a standard box fan on

If this is an older unit, I believe you need to put it under 50% + load,
and run it until it shuts down. A small portable heater works well for
this.

I have purchased Cisco switches used from China before. We didn't end up
paying any duty fees, but I know that is a possibility. All of our
switches worked perfectly. I think we bought a lot of eight.

I'd run away from doing that... at least for Cisco product. There is so
much fake stuff coming out of China with Cisco branding ... seen quite a bit
of it first hand and the fakes are very hard to tell the difference short

Well there is no question that 10G ports and LAG’s of 10G are more popular but
the number of 100G ports being sold for IP Transit is definitely picking up
quite noticeably :) The biggest challenge that I have run across is pure
economics – the cost of the ports makes it hard for them to sell

I think a lot of the log entries I see are due to phones going into sleep mode

H, considering a full 100g port of service would be priced at $35,000 to
$45,000 / Month, it needs a $150,000 to $500,000 Router to handle, a one time
charge of $30,000 to $100,000 is negotiable and rather an irrelevant figure in
that picture :)

If you wanna see a busy setup, look at NTT's network map. They show each
circuit on the map, not just generic lines. There are a few destinations, but
there are 84x 10 gigabit circuits between Japan and the US. I think that's the
trans-pacific crown. Some are 10GigE, some are OC-192. I know
FYI, based on our experience at 100G Levels most IP Transit providers are @
very similar Monthly MRC.
And yes, due to limitations of 100g ports on a line card and expensive optics,
in many cases 10g LAG Groups are less expensive to implement.
