It was a little more work to set up but hosted Exchange has limitations. We
are also planning on adding Sharepoint and integrating some other functions on
the server when we upgrade the hardware.

I worked at a place that used Merak Icewarp. I think they have a linux
version. Your mobile devices can't tell the difference between that and
Exchange, but you have to install a plugin to use it with Outlook. Once
that plugin is installed you can't tell the difference on your desktop
either
