Hi,
I'm submitting a job through torque/PBS, the head node also runs the
Moab scheduler, the .pbs file has this in the resources line :
#PBS -l nodes=2:ppn=4
I've also tried something like :
#PBS -l procs=56
and at the end of script I'm running :
mpirun -np 8 cat /dev/urandom > /dev/null

No, seriously, that's it. The problem is that
I didn't see anything in the paper that mentioned the specs on your
load generating clients? Where can I get your test scripts for the
structured filesystem tests other than specsfs2k8? I assume you used
distributed + replicated with gluster? Is compuverde using a similar
algorithm or is it

Wow, 10.8 is seriously locked down by default... which is a good thing
for 95% of their user base, but, wow.

Hi,
Anyone know if the 1024 char limit for auth.allow still exists in the
latest production version (seems to be there in 3.2.5). Also anyone
know if the new versions check if auth.allow has been updated without
having to restart glusterd? Is there anyway to restart glusterd
without killing it
Would also be nice if auth.allow could take DNS entries similar to the
way that /etc/exports for NFS can read these types of entries, e.g.
*.blah.foo.edu

I am not aware of a single socket motherboard that can cope with 500GB
ram. 2 socket motherboards support about 256GB (128GB per processor)
or so at the moment and quad socket boards upto 1TB.
For x86 architectures, the most I'm seeing in any available
motherboard is 12 DIMMs per socket with
Well, the HP ProLiant DL580 G7 has 64 DIMM slots (supporting 2TB) and
supports up to 4 E5-4xxx processors, problem is it looks like they'll
only sell you a minimum of 2 CPUs.

i think qperf just writes to and from memory on both systems so that
it can best test the network and not disk, then tosses the packets
away

I have R610's with a similar setup but with HT turned on and I'm
getting 3.5GB/s for one way RDMA tests between two QDR connected

and yes on some Dells you'll get strange network and RAID controller
performance characteristics if you turn on the BIOS power management.

It takes a bit of understanding. Am I correct that if the monitor does
not have a built in emitter, the glasses need to be triggered from
either a remote transmitter plugged into the 3 pin mini din port of a
suitable quadro card for quad buffered, or to a USB port in the case of
consumer GTX
