Hello all I've been trying for about a week now to get cmipci to output 5.1 sound. In xine or mplayer I get very bassy distortion. 2 speakers work fine, as does the mirrored rear speaker setting in the mixer, but I'd like more than that. Help would be greatly appreciated. Dan --

Yes it is possible to get 5.1 sound out from the SbLive via the analog connectons. I have a 5.1 sound system hooked up with the center & sub connected to the digital connector. Is your sound card setup to output as digital audio or analog? Cause you just get noise in digital mode. David On Fri,
