Hi Sirs, I need a quick solution on how to do backup on Redhat 7.1 server. It will be running samba. Currently I'm running on NT4 as a fileserver with very old hardware, thus I'm thinking of migrating to Redhat running as a simple fileserver. The backup strategy I'm having now is a Full backup

Is there a way to cause amanda to add incremental backups after an existing tar archive? I have a 3gb filesystem to backup on 5 gb disks. It is therefore feasible to backup the entire filesystem on a single tape and still have room for additional incrementals. --Dan --
