If you are using ITSM, check the people record. In older versions some emails were sent using the email address from SHR:People and some were sent from the User form. The data was supposed to stay in synch, but occasionally it wouldn't be. I don't think that issue exists in 7.0.3 with the

Double-check your entries in the AR System Server Group Operations Ranking form. Look for the E-mail Engine entry for this server and make sure that it has a value specified in the Rank field. If this is your primary server, it should probably have a value of 1. Is that the case? Lyle

I'm glad you got it working. Thinking about it a bit more, if it's being configured to be run behind a web server that effectively proxies for it, it probably isn't necessary to have it listening on port 8080, since that's probably not the port the web server uses to communicate with Tomcat.
