Thanks...Patrick for the info...
Actually we are setting up a purging policy in our environmnet. If you or
anybody in this list can help us in finding which tables should
be purged and their frequency that would be of great help.
Thanks,

Sorry one last confirmation. Will Classic Views still be supported in 7.6.04?
I'm pretty sure I read that it was but it never hurts to confirm!

One way around this problem is to do an sql query to get the “nextid” for the
form from the arschema table. Then add whatever letters and zeros you need to
create the Request ID in advance of phase 3.

You can also use a GUID to tie the requests together up front, and push the
Request ID to other forms as needed later.

The `! moves the push fields to phase 1, but doesn't move the generation
of the entry id. The only thing that would move the creation of the
entry id is the run process that causes a commit to the database.

Hi Listers,
Can someone please tell me the importance of SLM:EventSchedule form? I see
that an escalation sets a value in this form based on which a series of
filter are triggered.
This is causing the server to be loaded heavily and a Submit on HPD:Help

Hi,
It seems the upgrading is straightforward, but I want to check with the list
for sure.
We're planning to do the upgrade our server from AR 7.01 to latest AR 7.5
P007 for our Remedy homegrown application. There is no CMDB or ITSM suites.
Is it just a mater of running the installer 7.5 P007 on

Looking for ideas and anyone's input.
Basically we are looking to pull out all the attachments say for a CRQ out of
the Work Info and save them to a folder or what have you.
Anyone ever done this, best way for approaching this.
Thanks

For those of you who have installed 7.6.03 using Windows 2008, IIS 7, Tomcat
servlet, have you found this to be a stable and well performing configuration
and recommended set up? Part of the reason for asking is because of the
significant difference between IIS 6 and IIS 7; we wanted to
Yes - upgrade to 7.1 first, then to 7.5. There were table and license changes
in 7.1 that 7.5 and later assume. It would be a good idea to have your license
keys available as well in case you have an issue w/ 7.1 install. Licenses are
moved into a table (instead of .lic file).

I'm working on something similar. Still trying to find a way to trap the
directory the user selects. Also, A table loop with those process calls
works via the user tool, but not via the Web client (only drops the last
attachment of the selected list). It's in that (dare I say it) RFE bucket.
The directory is stored in with attachment name. If you do a Set Fields to a
character fields on a form and record with an attachment, you'll see it.
Mid Tier? I didn't think you can run those processes on the Mid Tier server
(no client). They work fine on the ARS server, just use Filters
Those two cmds run fine on the web for a single file - just doesn't like to
go through a table loop. What was relayed to me was that they were working
on a patch for it (although no indication what patch - I'm on 7.5). Using
filters vs Active links changes the perspective on the target
All true.
I'll experiment tomorrow w/ table loops running those processes in the Mid Tier
on 7.6.3.
How does the field get set after the user selects their directory via the
..SAVE-ATTACHMENT call. = workflow (Set Fields from attachment field name).

Hello,
You should be fine with IIS7. IIS, whether 6 or 7, isn't doing very much but
passing on requests to Tomcat. I also hear that Tomcat 6 is the default for
7.6.03, and Tomcat 6 is a perfectly decent product - we've been developing SSO
Plugin on it for at least 6 months and we have no
Hi Andrew,
Please let me know how this goes. We're pretty much in the same spot
running 7.0 with 100% custom app and looking to plan for an upgrade to
7.5 or 7.6.
Good Luck!
