One way around this problem is to do an sql query to get the “nextid” for the form from the arschema table. Then add whatever letters and zeros you need to create the Request ID in advance of phase 3. Dwayne Martin James Madison University From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList)

You can also use a GUID to tie the requests together up front, and push the Request ID to other forms as needed later. Tim From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto:arsl...@arslist.org] On Behalf Of Martin, Dwayne - martinrd Sent: Tuesday, November 23, 2010 7:36 AM To:

The `! moves the push fields to phase 1, but doesn't move the generation of the entry id. The only thing that would move the creation of the entry id is the run process that causes a commit to the database. On 11/22/2010 5:47 PM, Eli Schilling wrote: ** Hey list! its been a little while

I'm working on something similar. Still trying to find a way to trap the directory the user selects. Also, A table loop with those process calls works via the user tool, but not via the Web client (only drops the last attachment of the selected list). It's in that (dare I say it) RFE bucket.
