I was reading a discussion about using an init form to be able to
track last login time of users more easily than trying to download
millions of records using AR System Historical License Usage.
Does anyone know if init forms still work in the Brave New World of mid-tier?
Kind Regards,

Hi,
We can run a web report qualification as
( 'Submit Date' - 'Status*-History.In Progress.TIME' ) = (12*60*60) AND
('Status*-History.Resolved.TIME' - 'Submit Date') =(48*60*60)
here we will get the tickets which are resolved within 48 hrs and out of
these which all are put in
Hi Lisa,
Init-Form: Form Name parameter can be used to capture event when user
login to user tool (thick client) this *parameter does not work for web
client*.
You can add java script to remedy login web page to record required
information.

Hello Deepali,
Have you tried consuming your published webservice via SOUP UI before going
it through filter action.

hi,
To consume the web service we require filter, which includes a set filed in
which we have to specify WSDL file. I want to know from where do we
get/create that file.
I have not tried with SOUP UI, as I have no idea about it.Can you please
tell me the steps to do via SOUP UI.
Thanks,
Deepali
Deepali,
Try using SOAPUI as suggested to consume the WDSL.
Quick Hint: Go to youtube, Using SOAP UI ... for a demo and intro to the
software.

Hello Deepali,
The answer is pretty simple, you can either provide the url of exposed
webservice or you can provide the .wsdl file which you can save when you
published it using any browser. you need to save it either using .xml
format or wsdl format (the choice is yours). I would recommend you
Jittu, I'm a little confused with the first part of your query. Wouldn't
the Status History In Progress be greater than the Submit Date, making the
value in the parentheses a negative number?

If you published the web service from ARS then you should find the WSDL
location when you were editing it in Developer Studio.
The normal Location is:
http://{MidTier_Web_Server:PORT}/arsys/WSDL/{ARS_Server}/{Web_Service_Name}

Do you see a performance hit for having the logging turned on? Also, is
there another site with more info about the Log Parsing Management

Looks like another developer set the auto identify settings and this is
what happened (I assumed he turned them off). He set them to what is on
Production and now it works!
Thanks everyone!!

Jason,
Just a 'warning' for you regarding the Buffer Log setting. This is great
when dealing with 'general' output, but when trying to capture crash data,
the value should be turned off because it's possible that the thread that's

Yup, we are not talking about a crash in this case so I didn't mention it.
The documentation does mention it though so I figured one could RTFM :)

Here's a video that shows you how. It's about an hour long... showing the
process of creation from start to finish, including approval mapping. It's a
little bit wonky as you will see... however... it's not as hard as ServiceNow

Append ?wsdl to the end of the webservice url that is given to you.
This will display the webservice definition. Do a save as .wsdl file and
then consume it in filter.
