Hi Listers,
Does anyone know of a way to change the table/view that a view form references?
I don't see a way to change it in DevStudio because the form property is
readonly after create. I exported the form, changed it with a text editor and
imported it back to the server and I get the

I have Rick. We have no users relying the Alert mechanism. Email is the
standard people notification mechanism here and I
to read the alerts, prior to starting down this road?

Hi Listers!
Has anyone ever expanded the Alert Text field's input length on the Alert
Events form to allow for more informative alerts to be sent? Currently the
field is set to 255 in our environment (ITSM 7.5 on ARS 7.5 on Oracle 10g) and
I would like to change its input length to unlimited.

Does anyone know of a good way to build a tenant into a people template?
I see options for permissions and for support groups, but nothing for
access restrictions.

Here's the situation. We're doing approvals by CI. Our Business
Approvers are not always support staff. We have about 75000 CIs and
business approvers are required in 3 of the 4 approval phases for 90% of
those CIs. I need a way to build a grouping of non-support people and
support staff

I'm building a people management integration to ITSM 7. I don't want to
touch any of the OOTB workflow if I can help it. I have a staging form

We have a similar environment and I've noticed that the bulk of the time
spent the system is actually refreshing the background object list in
the admin tool. Two things that greatly reduced the amount of time it
takes me to save an object: 1. Close the object list prior to save. 2

You can do that by laying a view form over the arschema table. Use
schemaid as your unique identifier.

We have a situation where we would like the tasks related to a CR have

These are generally research type tasks that occur in preparation for

Hi Ravi,
There's nothing out of the box with the exception of fieldid 1 (EntryID
or RequestID depending on the version).
You could, however, build a filter with a setfields action that fires
only on submit
Action: SetFields from SQL
select max(fieldname) + 1 from formviewname
Value $1$
I think it's stored in the proplong column in the fieldid=0 record on
the field_dispprop table
Select proplong from field_dispprop where schemaid = your schemaid and
vuiid = your vuiid and fieldid = 0
The same is true for your button images I think
Select proplong from field_dispprop
Delete all .arf and .arv files.
