At this time, this is a feature of the system and is not configurable.
If you do not want them created, what you need to do is turn on workflow
logging, create an SRD, see what
workflow fires to create the entry in the CMDB (you will find a push field

I wonder if that will create any errors or issues downstream during submission
of a request? I've seen errors when the CI is deleted so there is some
validation going on but never tried stopping the CI creation.

Hello Atul,
You can have the Filter logs enabled and you can disable this Requestable
Offierings being accessed when you create service request or stop creating
one with creation of SRD.

Atrium documentation about how to build your Service Model, you will find
reference to Requestable Offerings there.
If you are creating SRDs without a Service Model, well you're going to
