The obvious problem is that shafqatayaz becomes 123456
and am going to look into it.
Many thanks

Hi List
Our AD is changing the way it stores the employee names, instead of a character
based login name we are moving to a numeric based login id. As anyone
implemented something like this before? If so, any gotcha's to look out for,
any advice would be useful.
We are on 7.01 ARS, Oracle
The obvious problem is that shafqatayaz becomes 123456 in the submitter
field. You could use the Authentication Login Name reserved field to get
round it.

Hi,
If you need to change the data in your current system, you can use our
free RRR|LoginConv tool.
You need a conversion file in the following format:
mizm = 12345
shafqata = 54321
axtong = 2
https://www.rrr.se/cgi/tools/main#rrrLoginConv
It will go through all (or the specified) forms
have the same first and last names, and not only AD but Remedy
Admins are getting really really confused, when one of them calls with a
problem !!!
