Hello all
Just got a couple of new net5501s and berofixes, and am getting this error
on occasion:
PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable
I can get past it via comBIOS Monitor with:
set PXEBoot=Disabled
However, the problem reoccurs after a while. I know nothing about this side
of things, so
I would venture to say "yes".
However, you problem isn't going to be with handling the handsets but in
the concurrent instances of transcoding.
Yoa will no doubt need to send calls to the Berofix in ULAW (G711)
format and so if your Snoms are configured for that then you'll just
pass them thro
I think we've finally got the money together to migrate our head office away
from our elderly Avaya system. Before committing to this, I thought I'd ask
the opinion of the list as to whether the planned replacement system will
cope.
The existing system is an Avaya IP406 with around 50-60 analogue
I've only seen that problem with non-San Disk cf cards. In any case, it's
really a Soekris problem, not an AstLinux problem.
You may get a better response on their mailing list.

I noticed sometimes that when I connect up a console cable (even with
RTS/CTS turned off) and I power-cycle a net5501, the red, orange, and
green LED's all light up and stay on.
No POST message, nothing.
If I disconnect the console cable and power-cycle, then it boots.

Hi,
because of the problems with my crashing net4801, today I got a new net5501.
I didn't found a running watchdog process in Astlinux 0.6.1.
Are there no drivers for Linux or what is the reason?

Hi Darrick,
I have a Soekris net5501 (FW 1.33) in the field which runs with a
1808 image as a simple voicemail application. Today I was there again
and wanted to update it with the new 1948 image and new
AltWeb-version, but with the new image the VIA Rhine NICs are not
detected. I went back to

Greetings,
I have been net5501 testing with Darrick's latest builds for the
"asterisk-beta" branch.

With all the changes (runnix, unionfs, asterisk 1.4) things work
amazingly well... of course there are some problems.
In particular openntpd. This is wha

Klaus,
I'll try to get something built in the next few days and put it up on my
beta repository. I was hoping Kris would get a 0.5.
Hello,
I found an Astlinux image for net5501 build on trunk version 1095. Is
somewhere a newer version for download?
