If Grendel is chasing you, simply go to sleep, even if in the cave.  Grendel does not kill sleeping thanes, other than in Heorot Hall.  If you go to sleep in the cave, wake up another thane, Grendel will forget about the one sleeping in the cave and pick a new strategy.  He may start sifting around, stalking the new thane, go to sleep, take a rest.  Just give him some time to move on.  Then you can wake up your original thane and keep playing.    Baruch, you can buy a private room for lives.  It is very useful, you can store your stuff there, sleep there and other accounts and Grendel cannot get into your private room.

quick post to say I haven't stopped trying to get a JumpInSauceRS release of better quality out there, and I'm at the point where this is very close. if any audiogamers are willing to try out an array of features and new ways to test/share results please just email sel...@audazzle.com 1. we now have a prototype talking scoreboard / "ships computer" that is somewhat of a maverick hence his/her code name is MaverickTTS ... Not exactly, I pictured more of the sound of rocks sliding like someones foot along the edge of a dirt cliff, like these. Maybe you could adjust the pitch of the wind sound at their edges to effect distance? Or add a reverb effect?

 erception of what I concerned a large amount of editing rather changed when I did first my masters and then my doctorate,  albeit I do very much remember writing my own desperation and how much work it seemed at the time, indeed several friends and I had a 24 hour disertation watch and were calling each other at three and four in the morning, then when all the dam things were finally in we all got together and under the somewhat lethal combination of coffee with melange (well cannabis actually), chocolate covered coffee beans and pizza we basically all passed out into a stuper, --- which was lovely if rather nuts . As regards web games, it wasn't so much that I "taught myself supernova" through playing, more that my skills at using the internet with sn vastly improved after I'd spent some time with games like legend of the green dragon, ashes of an
 gels and of course Sryth, not to mention the ffproject site. It's amazing actually how much you learn by pure osmosis when your concentrating on other things. My lady admits herself she's not great online, which is why i considered web based games as a good learning point, though of course what games will depend upon what sort of thing she fancies and will be something we'll have to discuss.With books Bcs, that is indeed grim in the extreme, I don't think i could live that long if I weren't reading something or other .

@Beowulf, thanks for that, when the help advised me to create another thane for grendel to snack on I assumed I'd have to be in heorot hall, or to find grendel with my cannon fodder thane, good to know Grendel has thane seaking radar and will go after the new thane while my original is sleeping.

I can't say I'm too surprised. when I tried to contact storm8 about some of the access issues in their games like creating a storm8 id, they flatly ignored me, just your usual big fat company, setup a game, grab as much money out of players as possible, then pack up when it's not prophetable and do another and if blind gamers also get screwed in the processs,  well why should they care it's not going to lose them any sales.As per the db policy the games won't be removed from the database, but after the 26th the status will be changed to "unknown" and a note put on the game pages to the fact the games aren't available anymore.

@Csm, if coops has said "accessibility will come later" then I'm inclined to believe her, (I think coops is a lady, or at least when I donated to the game I had paypal payments going to a certain linda cooper).Assuming that the game isn't written in an inherently inaccessible fashion to begin with, (and if Coops has promised access I'm inclined to believe that is not the case), Accessibility usually involves making elements of the screen display, adding text labels to images, extra buttons, some display details etc available  in a way screen readers can access. Those sorts of things however are additions to the existing code and the display of the game. Provided the game has the potential! to recieve readable labels and screen reader additions, then that is indeed a job best done when the game itself is up and runningg, look at Smugglers 4,A dark room, Adventure to fate 2, or the access fixes to Drakor, puppet nightmares or many other games.If Coops new game isn't accessible at the start but is being developed with accessibility on the table later, then I'd be inclined to wait for a while at least before trying to kick up a stink. Coops has always been very good about access matters generally, (I've had some discussions with her myself on the subject in Ce), and while it is possible for a busy developer to forget about access furher down the line, it's probably better to wait a while before assuming that has happened, especially with a developer with such a good accessibility record as Coops.

I've seen one or two with nets around them. I think--though I have no idea if this is the least bit true--this might be a relatively (as in, the past ~12-14 years) recent thing, in response to some minor scare about injury rates on netless trampolines. I don't remember encountering any with nets prior to... I really don't recall which year, specifically, but am pretty sure it was no earlier than 2002, and no later than 2006. I'm thinking 2004, but not sure.As to the original question, I'm guessing most centers for blind people will have accessible equipment, so if you're willing to ask someone who works there what types they have, they might be able to get you some useful information.

Hi.I'm really so excited to hear about the improved TTS. But... Damn I'm so disappointed that Sony just are releasing this for those who are from the US.I have tried to use a payed VPN which goes to the US, but that didn't activated the TTS feature in the accessibility menu. The TTS option is simply not there. It's not even shown on the screen at all. My system is also set to US english, but I have a danish PSN accound. Contacting Sony about this issue is no go. If I contact the american suppport section, they won't do any support at all because I'm not from the US, and when I contact the danish support section, they won't and can't say anything at all about the TTS, because that's only supported in the US. Sony, damn you!I think I'll continue to try some things to get the TTS to work. I think it have something to do with the actual setup of the console. My issue is that I don't have sighted assistance very o
 ften. I should rip out a weekend of my calender, take my ps4, travel to my parents place and spent a whole weekend on trying to get this to work. I'm really pissed because of the way Sony keep blocking us outside the US regarding to the TTS option. I'll say we have the right to get this to work, no matter if we are doing ilegal things or not. I don't care. I'm normally not doing any ilegal things, but this kind of force us to do it.

Stereo Image To Sound Python Examples

Hey everyone, i've finished porting some of the Stereo HiFi examples of Meijers code to python and thought i'd share it for anyone interested. Unfortunately the "Hifi" portions of the code isn't implemented, I ran into some problems as it turns out Python has some issues with unsigned ints. Regardless, all the other settings and stereo still works. The original source is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License, free to share and adapt for any purpose or use commercially provided that in all places where you describe or use the functionality you give credit to the original author and a link to his site: Copyright © Peter B.L. Meijer - http://www.seeingwithsound.com/im2sound.htm.You can download the example scripts here.The first example is a straight port of the original HiFi script and produces a wav file. The second example converts an image into a wav file, you can substitute it with what ever image you wish. The third example pipes an image file out through OpenAL using Pyglet, though the example also works with PyAL you'll still need Pyglet to load the image. The 4th example is just like the third, but is optimized with Numpy for a performance boost, it takes a bit to load because it pre-calculates all the HRTF tables when initializing, this is to cut down on the calculations needed for conversion when in regular use.

Hmm, I keep thinking that one-way flooring could be represented by the sound of crumbling dirt or some such, but only when your walking and underneath it, like an additional surface cue. If above it you could simply play just the crumbling sound when walking.

GlovePIE is another option.I haven't used it with Swamp, but I do use it for both BK3 and ShadowRine.It does let you tie into the analog sticks, and even tell how far the analog sticks or triggers are pressed.I'm using it with an original XBox controller, not 360, but it is supposed to work for many types of game pads.It is setup so you write a script for your device that basically says, when this button is pressed,, press this other button, or set of buttons.In BK3 it is nice because I use the select button as though it were a modifier key, so when I'm holding it the 4 main buttons do different things than when I'm not holding it.I also bind one of the keys to the NVDA instant translate key combo so I don't have to touch the keyboard for that.ShadowRine has built in support for game pads, but I still use GlovePIE to augment the built in support so I can use the DPad and bind a single key to perform clip copy and
  instant translate.All that said, it's probably easiest to try CAE's Joy2Key config first since it is already setup for Swamp.Just letting you know about another option.

Hi. I think the thing with food is that I assumed it healed my character (who is human anyway), but it doesn't seem to, you just seem to need to eat occasionally. I've tried healing at the witch, but she takes nearly all my rings to do it for some reason, I'm not sure if healing potions are cheaper. I did get writing just now after indeed my magic was 25, so now i'll have to play with runestones sinse I do want to see at least a bit more of the world. I however suffered rather a setback when I died and lost all my gear. I assumed this was one thing protection from death helped with, but when I bought that it turned out not unfortunately, so now I'm rune collecting and storing them in my private room. The problem with trying to feed another thane to grendel is I always encounter him deep in the cave and don't have a quick way out, he usually chases me until he gets me, which is a real pest when I'm trying to do a quick c
 ombat, unfortunately I don't have those teleportation boots or any other way of getting out of the cave in a hurry at the moment. As to the guide, well I did look for tips, but unfortunately it seems the guide is written rather for people who have already completed much of the game, and being told "Well if your completing a kaal kingdom get the such and such amulet and then do the so and so quest first, but first get the insert weapon here so that the so and so monster doesn't do such and such" isn't that helpful when you are starting off and want to go and find the quests yourself and are just trying to sort out basic stuff like how to fight without being killed, indeed the guide basically on combat tactics said "Get flight and use a whip" which is okay as far as it goes (though it strikes me as a little cheap), but not helpful if you didn't start out with flight and are just testing the game,  though on my own behalf I am finding 
 combat at a distance works rather well, using a long spear or a flail in one hand and throwing weapons with the other, just ducking in and throwing then ducking back, though unfortunately sinse I lost all my magical weapons due to being severely grendeled I now can't kill ghosts, ghouls or wraiths and am waiting for the witch to be kind to me again :d. Btw, the guide is a pdf. I ran it through the convertion to plane text option with the access version of adoby reader 11, and it is fine, if anyone wants that plane text version let me know.

Hi.Rockband 4 sounds interesting. I have Rockband 1, 2 and Greenday for ps3, and kind of lost the interest for the games for very long time. The new Rockband guitars which got released then RB2 came, got never released here in my country. So I still have those old guitars and the old droms, and i wanted the newer guitars so badly... I don't feel like buying the very expensive and pro guitars and droms, and it seems like the newer guitars still never got to the country.It might only be me who feels like this, but right now I don't feel like buying the new guitars and droms if they come to my country. It would be nice if the instruments could be played from the consoles controller instead, or if a small piano style keyboard was released. I'm not sure on why, but I don't wanna buy a guitar just to play RB4. Maybe if a really cool guitar got released, but I would like to use the controller like in the small RB game which I don't remember what'
 s called, which is released for ps3.

Hi Joseph. Last saturday, I  met my rp friends for a one day of 7th sea (I had great fun playing a dramatic castilian swordsman), and asked them about card games. The one they highly recommended was one I'd not heard of before called Centinal. Apparently it's a game that can be cooperative or pvp, and can vary number of player depending upon who wants to take what. The best bit, is that the game comes with different decks, several heroes to play plus environment decks and villain decks, which represent the hazards your heroes are up against. This also contributed to their thinking sinse they thought if I could get braille versions of some of the basic elements, because you could mix and match, if I say were playing one or more of my braille heroes, that wouldn't stop them bringing in a villain or environment deck to play against from one of the expantions, or indeed playing different heroes if they wished to, --- though of course if I like t
 he basic game buying more expantions for myself with extra villains, environments or heroes might be a possibility in the future. I confess I've not heard of centinal before, but the way my friend described it it did sound awesome, and is obviously something they'd be interested in playing with me as well (apparently it can furnish up to four players, but can be played with less if each player takes several hero decks to play as). They did say there are a lot! of cards in the basic setup because of the number of different decks, but there aren't any boards or pieces, and obviously volume of cards isn't particularly a problem access wise (even if you needed to braille numbers and basic info on the cards and give me a word file of the full texts to search through).They also said as compared to something purely fun and commical like Munchkin, Centinal is a game with rather more scope for varied play over longer periods, which obviously would be 
 an advantage if I was paying extra to get braille versions.Let me know what you think.

I'm not sure if Sony created that thread or if maybe one of you did it, quite frankly I don't really care, because I know that Sony will read all of it I'm sure and will do their best to implament as much as they can. And for you incurable optimists out there, I truly believe that if Sony has taken the TTS this far, they'll work hard to improve it. I don't believe that they're just doing this to protect themselves from being slapped by a law. @omer, what was your character name in stw. We don't ban with out a reason. I will defenatly consider the ideas given. I was thinking to see other peoples factors that are near you, you would do shift w. Then it wouldn't say whare the players are but would say like this player is this, and this. That player is this, and this. Soon you won't only be able to make tea with plants, but you will be able to grow plants your self. I havn't coded any of this in yet, but plan to soon. Some of the stuff id serverside, i've lowered the time to  get clean in the water, and also increased the time it takes to get dirty. Yay!

heya folks,I am considering wheter i want to purchase a playstation 4 or not. But the only question wich crosses my mind constantly ... is the screenreader able to speak all the menu's of the playstation itself? to acces the shop and make purchases in it etc. I understand that the games aren't spoken, but hopefully someone can tell me if this is possible and if yes. please tell me where i can activate it. Also guys, an update, it's not client but server, you might like this a lot more. I could if you guys think this would be a good idea do it to the other stats to, but for now it's with dirtyness and wetness. So now when you press p it works like it used too. But. Now when you press w, it says you are x percent dirty and x percent wet, then it lists all of the players around you that you can see with the p key and goes something like, JohnT is x percent dirty, x percent wet. So there seperated. I hope you like it! I could do the same thing with thirst. So when you press s, it would say you have x thirst, then if johnT was near you it would then continue with JohnT has x thirst. THis way, you could see how thirsty/hungry/tired someone is. In rp maybe hey, I think you need rest John, you look absolutly exhausted. Let me know if you like the idea.

Another bug i found, if you somehow lose enough agility to get 0 or below, ,which is possible if you eat the wrong plant, you can't attack anything because the game crashes when you try. I bet it's a divide by 0 error.

@welshweyrHonestly if you could find a way for the combat log to be read I'd have no problems with the game. A game that size with all of the expansions is going to be pretty huge so I have no problems with the navigation. It'd just be nice to know what damage I was doing in combat along with other things.

@ethin, .lib files are not quite required with bgt. @coltonhill01, I will look. I've been told by people it was impossible to wrap camlorn, and they might be right with freesl, but i'll give it a go! If theres structures i'll tell you, if not i'll get it working, hopefully! Danny has a point, it's not the most ideal engine, but defenatly better then CA. Well, i'll let you konw how it goes.

Hello guys.At first, I'd like to apologize with the moderation of this forum, because suddenly my topic got a bunch of uncensicle messages, of guys like Abdulroman talking and complaining about  pure mumbo jumbo.  and I'm so sorry if I'm getting kind of rude, but basically what happened to me a few minutes ago is really getting me quite pissed off and fed up at the same time. my main motivation to create my first topic, was  to let aminiel know what was going onn, since I know he's part of this forum, and I definitly can't  write to QCSalon because I'm not a french speaker.Now getting to my main subject here. @aminiel,  I've been banned again with the same reasons as my first ban, a  few minutes ago, just in the same moment I entred the platform to join a group of friends at a table. What the hell is wrong with this thing, and how is it possible that you get banned immediately after joining a free table? 
 without eeven talking? this is getting out of control dude, again and again I keep saying that this is a personal thing rather than an administrative one.I just want this  crap to stop, because its just so disappointing that you still get banned when everything was over, supposedly. oh and, you told these admins something about bans forever? well let me tell you, that these guys could be even unauthorizing you, cuzz I got banned this time, for ever. not 1 day or 2, not even a week, but forever!I just want all this to finish, or else I prefer not to step my feet  into your platform any more. this is just going quite far. If that's the case, why those who are insulting and  really harming are not banned yt?  in your rules, in that freakin rules you wrote,  you said no discrimination to any group and person, and I've been treated as "evangelical fagget" in a free table, yes you heard right. @samtupi1, It does require structures. The reason the .lib file is required is because the .dll file probably doesn't contain the same functions as the .lib ones, which contains the functions that Danny uses. That's why BGT won't work with FreeSL. It doesn't support structures, and classes won't work as structures because the function calls themselves require structures.

When above it I think it's better to just treat them as normal floors (especially since you can't drop off them). The only real issue is when you're below one. Also I just realized this means they'd have the wind sound from the "gaps" at their sides... If I can make their vertical position clear somehow, maybe that'll do the trick?Also a crumbling sound would make it look like the floor could break, wouldn't it?

This just goes to show that aminiel has not learned the point everyone has been trying to get across ot him and that is to remove all moderators who ahve been being rude to others, permanently. this unauthorized banning clearly shows that one, aminiel is going the completely wrong way with administration, and two, he did not do as he said he did, and if he did, he'd better remove all the other "helpers" that are on that playroom, because this clearly shows that the helpers are playing favorites, which then shows that the playroom is a terrible platform to be one because the admins ban people for no apparent reason other than personal ones which should and are not valid reasons to ban someone in the first place. So, aminiel, talk to your helpers, and get this sorted out, or your going to have many unhappy players.

Hi,I made a similar topic when I first joined this forum but this section is far busier than the Developers Room, so it naturally disappeared under pages and pages of posts. Therefore, I am making a new one.I'm looking for any free adventure and/or fantasy games you might no of. I don't want any Muds or MMORPGs, as I have limited bandwidth. Even if they're short, I would love to be able to have some new adventures. I have Braillemon, Tactical Battle and one little sidescroller I discovered in New Releases, but every adventure game in the main Database whose title caught my interest was either commercial, no longer available, not in the format I wanted (I'm not sure gamebooks are my thing—they're too hard to navigate with Adobe Reader), or not compatible with Windows. I do not have any interest in zombies/undead in general, but most other fantasy things are fair game. xDI understand if I'm too picky for my own good but I'm on a limited budget and there are many things that take priority over audio games.

Hi guys, saw the link posted in the silversword forums to read what you had to say. As a sighted fan I can say navigation isn't always easy for me either. Mario has stated that it is in part intentional due to his fond memories of Bard's Tale and memorizing keystrokes for travel. Some of his first maps are visually ugly, so your not missing anything there, but unfortuately for all of us with some difficulty the later maps prettiness has nothing to do with them being easier to navigate, but at least there are somewhat better travel options by then. Personally I find counting strokes before turns helps me, maybe with that and the coordinate system may help a few more. Long travel is supported thru two methods in the base game and a third in the current expansion already. Road wardens at a few select but key locals, and high level spells, a base game character and an expansion character (Dragon Callers are available with the expansion only after the base game is defe
 ated with their powerful teleport spell). The start of the game requires all movement by simple extended exploring though. If Mario's last stated plans for the next expansion hold, you will be able to destroy many obstacles in the future...The current expansion content (extra maps, alchemy, thief mastery and additional items) becomes open after a good way thru the base game, but largely can be explored well before beating it if purchased- just to clarify.Finally, combat messages are less important the more you play... Review your character health between rounds as welshweyr aka seeing eye dragon? said and you should be able to get by. The game seems tailor built for experimentation more than imediate succes. For example, not all player party make-ups are equal, certainly not in all locals of the game, so having up to 25 player made characters possible, with up to seven fielded at a time allows a lot. You will need a mage for group damage at times if you don
 't want a hyper long grind and leveling, and a thief at least the second time thru a dungeon - to open magic resistant chests - at some point to progress.

I personally didn't get much enjoyment out of them. They were fun for about a day or so. Just got to be extremely repetitive. Still though, it's pretty sad that they'd just up and drop them all at once like that.

Hi. I figure I should post in here again. @Dark, interesting you say you played web games to learn and understand your screen reader better. I actually used good old Narrator for quite a long time back when I had XP, and of course it could never access the internet reliably. When I started using NVDA around 2007 I guess it wasn't such a learning curve, but I never knew about browser games back then either. Would be a good suggestion for the next person I find who wants to understand a screen reader better, I guess it adds fun to the learning. As for your relationship, I hope the two of you will be really happy for a long time! Sadly the relationship train has been avoiding me like the plague in recent times, but who knows what the future holds.  Anyway... I'm pretty much approaching the end of my degree and there's loads of work still left 
 before November (when I'll have my final exams). At least I finished most of my dissertation and now all what's left is a bit of editing and adding where I want, or what my supervisor recommends. As for games, I've gotten back into Lords and Knights with a few friends, as they opened a new server last week. It serves as a good distraction sometimes. For sports fans out there, some might know about the Rugby world cup currently going on in England and Wales. Although these days I follow more football, it's still interesting, especially since a lot of family and friends are also greatly into it. Sadly for the hosts, England, they got themselves eliminated this weekend. As for books, I actually can't remember when I last read something, perhaps somewhere around the beginning of this year. I know, I know, that's terrible! Perhaps I'll get back into it around December.

Unfortunately my thoughts are that I already  have a set, the aftershocks from humanware. They're not the worlds' best in terms of sound quality (probably better than average but I'm picky), but they do do as advertised, and you can hear external noises and through your earphones. My only major issue is I keep forgetting to take them out with me . So, is there anything particular that either of these projects has that the aftershocks don't?

Hello,@dark: while I can't speak about relationships as something like that hasn't happened to me yet, one thing I can definitely speak about is bank branch closures because one has just happened nearby for referbishment. I'm not sure what wil happen once it reopens, but one thing that is awesome is the same staff will be back, which is definitely a good thing because they are awesome.As for me, I'm back to my regular routine doing martial arts and drama and such, but enjoying it. I've mostly been playing mainstream games lately, but I definitely need to try out Silversword. I'm quite impressed with Lego Dimensions, which isn't accessible but is a game that can be enjoyed with sighted friends, as you can build the actual lego that gets used in the game, and putting the figures on the toy pad makes them activate very quickly, definitely no sitting around waiting for stuff to happen.I am also very much looking forward to Feel The 
 Force, which is this Saturday! I can't elieeve it's been almost a year.

Good news everyone! After some careful bug troubleshooting, i've finily managed to shoot down the bug with connection drops. This means, that if your connection drops, you will A no longer cause characters to do things they were not ment too, and B, the one day server crashes that used to playg us all the time, are gone! The command is ctrl tab, you can also do ctrl 1 through 0 if you're in the command line to quickly check the last 10 lines of output quickly.As far as using nvda's screen review to check the output, it's pretty meh because you always have to have mush maximized or switch around the column settings which can cause it to line break weirdly. Anyway, hth.

I'm not sure what you mean. If you mean in terms of comfort I'm so used to earbuds or full headphones (I have a lovely set of sanheisa momentums that I use when i want seriously! good sound), that itt probably wouldn't make a difference to me, and I'm more than willing to sacrifice having my lugs ccovered or full for good sound. The sound on the aftershocks isn't dreadful, it's just that as I said I'm fairly picky. I bought the Aftershocks specifically so that I could use blindsquare and other satnav and useful aplications on my Iphone when I'm walking around, rather than for music or audio.

Welcome back to monthly chat, your first stop for random ramblings about life, the universe and anything else you happen to feel like chatting about each month.Of course people will think this topic is late, but people are wrong! The month is called octember, it has 5 days and comes between september and october. August, september, octember, october. See? quite logical. sinse Octember is such a short month I decided that the september monthly chat should do for both months, which is why we're only now into October. Of course, I'm quite aware that there are lots of silly people outside Darkland who have no idea of what the propper calendar looks like, however don't feel bad, anyone can learn, and I'm always ready to give the bennifit of my towering interlect and boundless experience to those less fortunate than myself, after all it is not everybody who has the bennifit of never being wrong, ever! at all ever! Of course, I am quit
 e aware that even I have flaws, Once I was conceited but now I'm perfect! . Okay getting back to seriousness,  I will confess that yes, I did actually forget this topic, mostly I confess due to my mind still being pretty much focused only and singly on my lady. Right now we're spending a good couple of hours each day on the phone, though it looks like we'll be moving in together in November, which of course is both exciting, and a little terrifying! she's never actually played audiogames, but enjoys games generaally, plus as someone who reads probably as much if not more than I do there are a lot of rpgs, gamebooks and the like which I look forward to  trying out with her, though I might need to learn a little about Window eyes sinse that is her screen reader of choice,  actually she's said she wants to improve her internet ski
 lls so I'll be thinking of some web games to recommend as that is the way I primarily learnt how to use Supernova. Of course that is assuming we actually have time! to play any games, sinse right now mentally it's pretty difficult to concentrate on much else besides each other (I literally wake up thinking about her), though I was very good yesterday and did play a lot of Grendel's cave .I have however done a few other things, most noteably on Saturday I went off for a day long session of 7th sea with my rp friends. 7th Sea is a really fun game, basically every single hammy historical cliche on fashion, I played a Castilian swordsman who was sort of a mix between sharpe and Zoro,  though he was a cavalry officer and didn't ware a mask. I'll say it was fantastic being able to actually get bonuses for uttering lines like "unhan
 d the lady!" and (when someone attempted to grab my sword with his bucler), "Well as your so eager to hold my blade let me oblige you!" It was pretty awesome generally and hopefully we'll get to do it again at some point.I've also actually done some propper work on site for a change, as well as get some of my academic work done sinse when not concentrating on my sunbeam (yes, our endearments do get that level of ridiculous), I'm actually feeling pretty energetic, albeit at the moment I'm drying off sinse I got absolutely drenched going to the bank which I wouldn't have done if they hadn't closed the branch just next to my bloody house! Hopefully now my desktop is in working order I can make a start on Angel series one, which has been somewhat delayed. In terms of reading, I'm continuing with Tom Holt at the moment, though will be trying something different when I'm finished. I've also recently got
  hold of the malason book of the fallen series by Steven Ericson, which I'm very much wanting to read sinse on fantasybookreview.co.uk it's ranked second only to Tolkien, even above Hobb, Martin, rothfuss, Jordan and Sanderson. It sounds a tough series to get into, but rewarding, which is definitely something I'm up for, albeit I have a rather different book to try first. Btw, for amusement value I also recently read the eleventh how to train your dragon novel. I am actually really liking the series. They're definitely kids books, but I like the humour and fun, they got me at dragons and vikings, albeit that now the series is heading towards it's final book things are getting pretty serious (one character actually died in book eleven, which was doubly confusing given he wasn't the person you'd have expected. Oh, and btw to answer the question gamesmaster asked in last month's topic, (you know, octember!), I read in audio. I used 
 to read a lot in braille but a combination of slow braille reading and portability rather put me off, though if i had a braille display I might consider reading ebooks.

Make sure to do Chromevox-N>E to jump to the edibox , then ya should land in the Google doc itself.If by chance you are in the "preview" window for said file, tab to the Open With" button, and choose "Google Docs" from the pop up menu.Alternatively to those two, hit your context menu key or press "A" on the file ya wish to open in Google Drive, then choose open with, and then google docs.Pressing enter auto places you in the preview window, for most cases.
