Eternal wars soundpack help ergently needed

Hi, I just got the prometheus eternal wars soundpack installed and extracted fine. When i hit enter on the .exe file, i got a sound, yes, but not an exciting sound. It was the stupid windows seven aplications arror sound. I'm not entirely sure what this means but it was something like "the application is unable to start because of 0vbx7" or something, also I have windows seven 64 bit computer if that helps. Please help I wanna play this mud with sounds as The only other option for me right now is mud rammer.

yukio, while I was playing the game today I noticed a small translation bugin the workshop, after you craft something your used and remaining items aren't separated so make one numberEG: if you spent 1 of something and had 9 left it would say 19I was actually trying to see what causes it in the dictionary file just now, but I can't seem to figure out why it's doing that

This is where I want to come in again, to say, when disaster goes on random without any admin control, there will be no impartiality. If you fight, and then a bom drop, or rockslide happens, no admin is ever involve, hence no one will think admin did that on purpose. If you die because of disasters, you die, not because admin spawn disaster to kill you. As it is at present, people will always blame admins and masters because they are the one and only rank that have the capability to command disasters.As for suggestions, I think having certain random quest or mission is good to get people to better play together. Like someone suggested earlier, to help someone in trouble and gain reward. Or having you to go to a place and find a specific item to transport it to another place. But now I think that is not possible because too many items will lag the server.

So, I just completed my third and final playthrough of this game, and I gotta say it's been great! I hope that the developer continues to update and improve it with new content and such, because I'd love to see this one live up to it's full potential.I think my favorite manamon is teruffalo. It just runs down everything in it's path haha it's a lot of fun to use. I also ended up really liking mitarozier. Once it gets going it's pretty epic.

You have to write the decks by hand. Generate the card reference file and paste the ones you want into a text file. The deck's name is the name of the text file. All deck files go in the deck folder in the Crazy Party folder.

I have this problem on windows 7, but as far as I know, its apparently only for xp, sadly. Though i think some people have got it working on 7 as i can play other games of theirs like lightcars just fine so it must be doable, not sure how though or if it is on 10 so don't get your hopes up. I know I've been playing this for a while now and have seen this dozens of times, but... "I sat next to Dustin's grave in the Avalette Graveyard." Where? I mean, when the story said the tangeria tower was destroyed, it was replaced with rubble where it used to be. When the story said amica town was destroyed, the map was replaced with all rubble. Same with the snowstar stadium. So it would be kinda neat if dustin did in fact have a grave in the graveyard, since the story says he does.

This is only possible if you jailbreak your device. However, the voice produced a lot of squealing and clicking noises when I tried this in iOS 8. This may have been resolved in iOS 10 since Apple has added support for voices like Fred. You will need a Macintosh system or the voice file.

Did discover that Martiagle and Fowliture are actually kind of similar, stat-wise. But Martiagle gets a nice coverage move with Batter Branch (even if it's pitifully weak) and gets Fly, which is just better than Suicide Dive. But otherwise, the stat profiles are kind of similar. The reason Fowliture sucks isn't because of his stats, it's because of his moves. You can't get away with stuff like Sing and Magic Lights when you have double-digit defenses on both sides at level 60. You just die. That's why Martiagle works. It plays to its strengths, and even if it's frail as hell, it hits pretty hard.Also discovered that Ninjarkon really isn't that attack-oriented. It's all speed...too much speed, really, since it will probably take 2-3 hits to kill anything with the moves it gets. And of course, its defenses aren't really hot (special defense isn't bad), so it dies in 1-2 hits. I'd rather take Tenshaino than Ninjarkon; at l
 east Tenshaino has excellent defense and some really hard-hitting moves not named freaking Blind Rush.

One option I do notice is redirecting portts, what is a good port to host games? whenever I look for a game servers are always busy, so it'd be nice to host, but whenever I host nobody connects so I assume it's not showing up. It asks me for the port number when i use the thing in options, and I don't know which one is best, any advice please?Also, I do recall there was a way to create more decks for the card battle. 12 is okay, but it'd be nice to have one deck for each type that I could play with and mess with to find good stratogies. I know there is a way to get more files to write cards to but I don't recall what it is, though as I'm still trying to get all the cards of all the types it'll take me a while .@darkblade 98, sorry if this is a late answer, but  basically the thing with battlemode is that it's a ccg. In a ccg game part of your stratogy is reflective of being able to maximize the chances of drawing the best card at a given time from your deck. That is why there are cards that do things like let you draw more cards. Indeed my brother is a ccg player and talks of cards that do things like let you draw one specific other card on your turn, or if you have one card in your hadn have a distinct affect,  for example one of the pokemon ccg cards he told me about is "team rocket sneak attack" where your able to steal any pokemon card in your opponent's hand and use it yourself, however bare in mind of course what pokemon you get is random.  Ccgs are not like chess, they're more like bridge where you play the odds, so yes, there is a degree of luck, and if more cards get added we'll see more of that in the future I
  think.

Hey, aprone, or somebody, how do i get sighted people interested in this? I haven't played in a while as last time i was on hardly anybody was on at all. I was the only person on map 1 in fact. And when i try to get my sighted friends to play they seem turned off by the whole audio only thing, and sadly, possibly the money factor as well. If anybody knows a way to help promote this awesomeness and get more people interested i believe it may help 3 causes: 1, will get more players to the game as it will be more fun that way. 2, it will possibly get swamp into the mainstreme field. 3, it will ultamitly get the god of games, the aprone, more money. Also in the meantime i'd like to know the most active nights to go on as its quite lonely on the server lately! And yes aprone, i will do everything I can to introduce this game to a larger audience and possibly get you the atention you very much deserve. Anything i can do to get people interested would be great help to this. Oh 
 and i'm thinking of doing some kind of swamp stream on twitch, what do you guys thing, would anyone watch it? Ideas for that would be nice, too.

could dmnb be resurrected?

Hello all. Although i have not posted in a while, i am still up to date mostly with what's going on as i have come on undetected via guest. I have started playing star wars mud cuz, well, i'm a hard core fan so why not??? But although its cool, a few things: 1, my mush isn't really working correctly for some reason and 2, well its not really the same. Whitch brings me to my subject: Could somebody resurrect dmnb? That was a pretty epic game, and its just gone. Isn't it still possible to host a server with out source as some people (me included) still have the game on my system and would gladly send it to somebody if need be. But yeah my question is, could somebody possibly recreate that game? Or if they have to, recode it? There are more than a few great developers on here (steven D, aprone, sam tupy) just to name a few of them, and if one person can't why don't multiple programmers work together to recreate it if possible? Or if it isn't needed,
  could somebody just host a server for it? I would like to get this star wars mud working propperly in the meantime though, seems pretty interesting lol, also if anybody knows any other cool space muds if this dmnb thing can't be done with dmnb Well i'd be glad to hear them as space is awesome.

Looks like all the interest in the game has dried up. Now all that's left are going to be the dumb questions that have been asked and answered repeatedly, but are still being asked. Where's the engagement ring? How do I beat irroadium? How do I open the gate in the space center? Where do I get placebot? What do you do with the statues in mineruff tunnel? And other gems that are either in Jayde's guide, searchable on the forum, or both.

@EkalakUnless there's an easter egg that nobody has found, the gate is just a decoration; there's nothing behind it.If you've completed your manapedia, you're more or less finished. If you haven't rematched the Hazeldale, SanCott or Brightwater stadiums yet you can do that. You can make the master's stadium harder by talking to the person who has appeared there. If you have friends who also play, now's the time to build a team to challenge them. Otherwise you've seen it all, congratulations.

Hey guys, so the short of it is, i'm running windows 2000 in a virtual machine just doing some software testing, and i want to know if anyone knows the last working version of NVDA that was supported for the operating system. There really isn't much similarity to Tactical Battle, despite the fact that Ian adapted a lot of ideas from that game in the creation of the engine for this one. The combat in Tactical Battle involves movement and positioning, and leads to much longer and more involved fights - this is rightfully so, since the battles are all that happens in TB. In this game, when an encounter triggers it's understood that everyone is already engaged in combat, so it's just a matter of each unit performing a skill on their turn.

alright, I've now finished level 9 finally! The xp penalties for death in this game are quite yharsh. I was quite annoyed when a group mob hit me for over 400 damage and I died instantly, that is really! punshing it I think even for a group. Still I'm now level 10 and can do quests again, hurrah! I would love to see that quests command, it's mentioned in the help for journal but I don't seem to be able to find it, which is a shame.Now i can join a side in the war which is theoretically good, and can have a house and other stuff which is better. i think finding quests in each area and having more trade skills are the things I would like to see most, though sieges look fun as do taxes, indeed I wonder if some of those other cities can be used for that? it'll be interesting to see, actually it would be quite cool if you could be sent on missions to gather taxes from npc villages on the map, to raide enemy villages and take them from the ot
 her side, or to go and defend one of your sides against an enemy attack, indeed being given missions is always nice in a game even if they repeat somewhat.I always liked the idea of army command and doing it as a citizen might be good provided it's possible solo, indeed it might be a good way to get players involved in the conflict, particularly since the wilderness map is great and the idea of roaming around playing war games would be very nice.I've seen other games that involve some sort of citty politics, but you have to roleplay hugely and basically be in with the gang, indeed some that have great systems (avalon particularly), really fall off since they're so! dependent upon other players. Since however the sides in classic six dragons are more stable it'd be nice to have a conflict you could participate in as a solo player, even if you could never actually win, eg, solo players can take an npc army and either defend against npc attacks or enga
 ge in attacks on npc settlements, maybe engage in some other war type missions like slaying enemy scouts or scouting yourself or taking supplies to armies in the field,  indeed as I said I love the wilderness map and more stuff to do there would rock, and make the times when there aren't any original quests a little less grindy. Either way, glad to now be back on a roll so to speak, hopefully I can progress and won't get quite as stuck on one level for so long.

Hello. I want to internet broadcast. SPL is super expensive and I think it may be overkill for my needs.  Anyone here have any ideas for alternatives to spl? I would like to run automation as well. I really don't care about voice tracking or date and time announcements or whatever. It is mainly a hobby station I'm trying to run here. Thanks for the help.

If bombs spawn, they spawn in the whol map, you get damaged, higher than the ground or not, under water or not, whatever you do, other than completely leaving the map won't work. Bombs can basically spawn anywhere. From the battle marked forest, to the island mainland, to the mountain and even the city is never safe. It's bad luck that bombs go off where there's pk going on. And yes, we do warn people or kick them, whenever they are spamming the out of character chat. In the radio, ment for roal playing, that's a lot harder, though it can be resolved by the mute command or similar. True, you can't modify players shelters, and that's a good thing (from an every player equal) point of view. But, sometimes, just sometimes, if people are insisting so hard on getting bears in their shelters, an admin might comply. Is it fair that a person dies because of that, maybe not, but is it fair that admins have to tell the same person over and over that we can't do that, while said person still keeps asking? Why is it for some players, so difficult to take "no" for an answer.

Let me, as admin, add in a few things here. 1. Bombs are never aimed at spesific people. So whoever said that, well, now you know. Disasters go off map wide, not player specific.2. Spamming for bears in a shelter? You can go ahead and listen to the first black screen recording, guess what happened? Exactly the same, and that wasn't even on request. So next time you ask stuff, be mindful of what you ask, it may not have the desired effects.

If you mean actual rpgs with stats and combat and such as opposed to interactive fiction games of the get box, open dwarf with spongecake type of puzzles the answer is not many. The Wastes and Warsim,  though I do not know how those play with Jaws since I don't know how jaws handles console winods, likewise for traditional if languages kerkerkruip (highly worth a try), or wumpus 2000 (though that one is rather limited). Then again though, I'm quite impressed with lots of muds for general rpg experience, and using either mush or vipmud you can have fuly output text. alteraeon, classic six dragons, (a game I'm rediscovering at the moment), aardwolf, erion, there ar elots of good games to choose, and they're not all about either inforced rp or heavy player killing, lots have plenty of solo quests and stuff to do. hth.

@Simba, Piter mach's post illustrates the problem. this is a complicated matter, and while I could write "just type such and such to run the games" on the pages of the database, there needs to be a little more involved going from where people put the games to what they do to get them to speak and run properly. Remember, a lot of people will come to audiogames.net who are total novices, don't know what dos is, don't know what emulation is etc. while it's quite okay to say "download this, put that there and type that" it needs to be structured.Heck I am not really sure what pitermach is getting at in his post myself, which is why instructions need to be extremely clearly, preferably written as an article in the articles room in the form of a guide. @Pitermach, first, a tutorial doesn't need to be audio at all, text instructions are fine, indeed in some ways they might be better for this sort of task since while an aud
 io file shows what you do and such, it's more difficult to get in explanations and exact instructions, especially taking into account different people's machines. Actually second as a case in point I am afraid I don't know what your getting at here. while I do get that back in the dos days computers were better with a hardware synth, I thought that was the very purpose of talking dosbox, to emulate such a thing, or have I got that wrong? or will talking dosbox not actually work for any real time game because it doesn't have this hardware synth thingy? and what is a com 101 etc? Remember, I'm trying to put together database entries for people with not much by way of computer skill or knolidge who just want to play games, heck many people will only vaguely have heard of Dos.

Hi all,I may be able to record a tutorial in the future, however at the moment I'm far from my usual setup so doing this is going to be at least a month away.I haven't used DOS back when it was actually popular, but to my understanding this is why you really need a hardware synth, virtual or real to play DOS games, especially the PCS ones. DOS was never designed for multitasking, this is why you can only be in one program at a time, and for the most part the OS is doing one thing at a time. Conpending this problem, the most popular sound card, the creative Sound Blaster and its billion other clones, were not multichannel (that is they can only play 1 sound at a time). There's a good reason so few DOS screen readers support software speech synthesisers that output to a sound card - because DOS isn't multitasking, when a software synthesisers starts speaking the OS is only concentrating on that, plus a few keys to interrupt it. This of course really 
 slows things down, especially in games where you need as few interruptions. To make things worse, DOS memory access is really confusing and primitive, and if multiple applications try to access some hardware, like a screen reader and a sound player accessing a sound card, it leads to crashes. This doesn't happen with hardware speech because nothing is accessing the sound card so it's more than OK for the game to take it all for itself, and DOS doesn't have to wait for the synth to finish speaking - the Screen reader just sends the text over a serial port which happens many hundred times faster than speaking something in realtime.For all the great things we can emulate now, speech synthesisers are not one of them, which is why you have this somewhat convoluted com0com setup (you can think of it like installing a virtual audio cable=Com0Com, plus an audio repeater=the BNS emulator) to hear the text. Mess, the same emulator that gave us Apple II with Echo speech, 
 has some support for Dectalk PC emulation. Getting it to work as a bind person at first is quite hard though as the emulation is really low level, down to the BIOS and all the wonders of having to tell it what size hard drives are installed and other such things where you have no speech, and the last time I tried it the speech was often glitching out. It may be something worth investigating again though.For now, the best thing to do is to run Dosbox with Com0Com and ASAP, rather than JAWS which uses sound blaster based speech.

I do like it so far.   I will probably pick this one up  when time and money allow it, for i"m just learning audio games and am in demo mode still with all my games.   Rght now, I plan to pick up this one, and a couple of other suggested games.  This one definitely has a lot of familiar influences, especially from Fallout and Disgaea.  But regardless, thats my opinion,    Definotely a great game overall.  I'm glad you recommended this.   And I'm surious on what E2 is going to come up with, and I haven't even beaten this one yet!

I watched that YouTube video and can say that I never heard of that news source. So, I really cannot tell you  that it is a reliable source. I read that arstechnica article and it does make it sound like nothing major would happen. Let us set down and ask a few questions. Why the change? What is broken?  That arstechnica article indicate that it is just to remove an obstacle. What will break? What could go wrong? That YouTube video, if it can be believed, we really do not want the UN to get a hold of it. It brings up the question of  how much say will other countries have in this? Do we really want countries that are known for blocking sites to have a hand in the say so of how the ICan work? According to that arstechnica article the US still controls a large part of the net even after the changeover do to in part of agreements and a lot of providers and domain holders are in the US. I personally worry a bit about it myself. Now that the US is giving up control on the first of October, what will happen? Will they abuse their position? I don’t know. Part if not most of my worries could be dealt with if I knew how they would handle a big major tug of war between nations. I would like to know how they handle assigning domains myself. Anyway, I am not too sure how big of a problem this will be in the end. I also doubt we will feel the results of this on the very first day. It most likely will take a while before we see the results of the change over, and the question I have is rather or not we will like what we will see when that happens. By then, I doubt it would be easy to fix if it proves to be a major problem. This has been talked about in some corners for a little while. So, the date of the changeover does not come as a surprise to me. I do wonder if some of the info that Edward Snowden let loose caused any countries to really push this along. If so, ICan being turned over will, most likely, not change some of the spying that nations may or may not be doing over the net.

@Figment, in case you know this I'm sorry, but if you don't, it might make your life easier. To go back to the village (after you unlocked it of corse) press f1, then f1 after you are done to return where you were before. the teleporter needs a bit to charge up so you can't use it all the time, but all you need is to walk around some time and you can use it again.

AS it turns out, you were right about the twilight village being between levels 2 and 3. I could have sworn that it wasn't that early in the game. Anyway, I now return to the village before going down the lext level, instead of waiting until I need to sell off stuff to make room for new stuff to pick up. and while there, stock on better weapons and armor if I can afford them, and on healing potions and or scrolls, and if they have them, a resurrection scroll or two.

While I did think of creating a new character and doing the tutorial again I decided I might as well continue with the progress. A couple of thoughts. first, i'd love to see that "where quest" thing to find more quests, since the quests in the game rock and it was only lack of quests at level 9 that got me earlier, that and losing all! my xp when i died and going back to zero, especially when i was just 10 K away from levelling.I also would love a way to get more trades, since while making jewelary is great I'd love to try one of the other trades, and I am currently level 6 at jewelary making. Great to see the game is still being updated and I hope more people play in the future, especially with the sounds this one rocks!

He spawned lots of baires in a shelter that I was in, and I lost 7 of my dfc's. when players dead, Admins took there items and yeah. Do you still say your administration team is the best? I don't think so!And another thing you disallowed Ronald to do  One of admins gaves some items to some players such as death, kick, and of corse broken_items. What do you have to say this time! Well done, this is how you are! Another thing to say is one of the admins because of his fightings with mahdi saadat I think, Dropped a bomb. Is this allowed too? They are allowed to drop disasters but not for their fightings! it, is, not, fare!

Hi.At janagirl, if you are using jaws, I recommend the asap screen reader, I often had the problem with jaws or flipper that it would crash when you start an application.I talked with Peter about that problem and he also said that users should play with asap which is basically an braille n speak emulator if I got this right.You need an extra tool for that to work and need to change some com ports, you can find instructions on how this works in the dosbox readme, if you can't find the infos, I can also look them up if you want me too.If you have more questions, just ask.

As far as I understand it, the talking dosbox should theoretically run everything since it emulates a dos environment, it's just that what Pitermach has done with the talking one is somehow get one of those old dos screen readers working with it by default, though everything else should theoretically be the same as on a dos system. This is why i'd like to see a tutorial or something similar before I go creating pages for the dos games in the database, indeed such a tutorial would be useful generally for the dos games we already have like Fallthru and aemon deluxe. As regards your games specifically Phil however, one thing I have seen people do is include preconfigured versions of old dos games that run with dosbox by default. I have one of the old graphical (and unfortunately not accessible), game turrican 2, another of prince of persia 2, and another very fantastic one for prince of persia which even has a standard windows property sheet that lets you play alsort
 s of mods and extra packs and such for the prince of persia game. These are awesome since you can essentially pretend they're windows programs, you just start the thing up, then dosbox starts, then the game runs by default and you just close with alt f4 to finish, indeed you don't even need to tangle with dosbox at all if the initial configuration is done, indeed that is what the eamon deluxe developer did with the graphical version of Eamon deluxe, though sadly the dosbox text isn't readable by a windows screen reader and needs a dos screen reader running instead. Perhaps you could discuss this with pitermach, since he's been so heavily involved with talking dosbox and has got it running successfully. Even if you can't do the preconfigured versions thing though, a guide would be awesome, especially since a lot of newer gamers won't be familiar with dos, heck, i've never used dos myself as though i learned to type on a machine 
 with windows 3.1 when i was 13, I did nothing on it but run word perfect and I didn't really get into doing anything more than word processing on a computer until windows xp came along by which point dos wasn't really around anymore.

Dark,I do hope someone does a Talking DOS box tutorial that I can add to my DOS games list.Once I finish the update to my Sarah game I plan to post a page of my DOS games that will be easier to use than they are now.I think Talking DOS box is designed for my games that need a synthesizer. The four self-voicing games in the list might need a different type of setup to get them playable. I hope someone with more time and technical skill will try them out.

Hi Phil. i'm sure the games have instructions, and as I said since I'm on an xp machine I'm not personally worried, but if i am going to add these to the database I'm going to need to include something about how people can run them successfully. Pitermach's Talking dosbox, that he mentions in This topic seems like a good thing, however if I'm going to recommend that to people in the database I will need to give some people some instructions on the thing, either that, or as I said previously work out some sort of way to preconfigure the games with talking dosbox stand alone versions to effectively work as a windows program people can just run. While I appreciate simba's instructions, it'd be great to have some sort of official guide or other information that I could stick in the database so that computer novices could run these games, and indeed other dos on

Entombed is based very much of the principles of a roguelike rather than a final fantasy style set rpg. So, rather than having specific characters and a story, you take a single character down into a dungeon with lots and lots of combat and randomness. Indeed one thing i really like in Entombed is that a lot of the tachtics involve thinking on your feet and deciding what your going to do with what resources, characters and situations the game throws at you rather than maximizing your options with equipment and over all tactics with a specific set of stuff.Hope you like the game, any questions, please ask.
