Don't think it will read the file names. My Olympus doesn't. The voice is just a set of sound files that trigger as you navigate the menus. It's not a screen reader, so it won't read changeable information like file names.

Well, all I'd say is it's a simple process with their software, but how accessible it is using NVDA, I have no idea. Using Jaws it was possible to just go with the defaults to do the most basic clone, that is just copying the whole of the C drive to the SSD connected to a USB

Audacity's noise reduction does this, but I can't remember exactly what the steps are to use it properly. It works reasonably well for getting rid of stuff like cassette hiss. I'm sure there'll be a guide on the web for how to use it.
