Yeah. that's fair. So if you have more decks, does that also get you more objects?For instance, My girl and I play relatively the same amounts, but she has about 40 deks to my 12, and has over 100 more objects than I do. Would that explain it?

In fairness to post 940, I do actually often read the topic (though usually I see the "the server is down" after I've already noticed it and put it back up). Responding with "It's back up" after every single one seems more irritating than the original posting.Relatedly though on the login assist front, we're actually very good at returning login assist responses, and can guarantee a 24 hour, usually more like 12 hour, response time.

I think my biggest gripe is that fist barrage and continuous laser have been effectively cut off at the knees. If they were over powered? Level them up. This new deck reconstitution... Effectively useless.

Hi, just an update.Thanks for the tip about virtual store, the decks have been recovered along with the save file.This new update to the battle system (though by new I think it was in beta74) is driving me absolutely potty, but it definitely changes strategies and such for sure. I feel it rather invalidates low level cards though which, for me, I used to do small bits of damage while boosting my level.I also do not understand, what does the game mean by "deck reconstitution?" Looking forward to battle quest updates!

@931 is basically correct.From the host side, it's a pretty easy fix! We just head in and type a command so solutions like this one generally gets fixed either:1. When a host notices and is logged in.or 2. Either of the coders is notified.There are no crashes or loss of data, it's simply very inconvenient.Still! It's back up and available now and I'm actually more excited than I have been recently as there's a release around the corner which I'll be interested in what people think about as it's something... Well, cosmic! Never tried before.

I will say megasuits are not a very widely known system, more out of the fact you need two people of the same race to work with them and most folk seem to hang out with other races! this is completely fine and on the staff to see what we can do to make them more attractive, but on the grand scheme of current projects, Megasuits slowly got pushed back and back to the point where only a select few have ever taken the time to use them. Now, obviously, this is not the most positive angle for megasuits and I will say that when they are used, they're great fun! It may merely explain why you did not get as many answers as you usually would.In regards to newbie questions it is also important to consider what is asked, for instance, I often see people say:"I built a module, installed it, but it's not working, why?"Why what? What module? What output are you getting when you try to use it v.s what you expect? What command or action are you performing in which, in your opinion, it should work and what is this producing?All relevant information that, to credit our newbie helpers and htpl's they do their best to telepathically read from people's minds but sometimes there just isn't enough!Now, I am in no way saying this is what happened, (once again I was not there to judge such an action), but there are three sides to every story so this may be another. Not to mention like anyone else, the newbie helpers themselves do have to take toilet breaks at some point, so may have simply missed out when you asked.Pet wizard v.s support ticket. Wow!It has been ages since I gave everyone an update on this thread.Let me see what has happened...Well first, we majorly overhauled our reporting system and can now dynamicly record tracebacks, especially those that happen often, and then fix them on the bounce. Basically what this means is if coders are logged out, tracebacks are not lost and instead when we log in we can see, oh, this broke 6 times, where this broke only twice. priority!We took on another member of staff, a very hard working one. Lots of new story arks are cropping up and I love where players are running with them.I can't remember if I updated the thread with some of this (so sorry if I repeat somewhat).We now have origin positions which the players have really got stuck into!We have a new farming system, the old one having been completely forgotten about,not to mention this week alone houses got some massive TLC and the feedback from that has been absolutely amazing!Always bug fixes and stability improvemens (app store style) but what else, hmm.We updated all our planet descriptions for a better quality when scanning which is always nice. the origin planets now all have backstories...I could honestly sit here for days trying to catch everyone up, but obviously you all know the best way is to play.

Ehh, the main reason I've not played this game is very similar to the reason I have avoided playing other similar projects recently, and goes similar to what @jayde was saying:The first post is your innicial shazam! Your tada for your fantastic new game. It is your opportunity to tell me why your game is fantastic, why it is unlike any other on the market.I don't have the time, pacients or caring to scroll through two pages of posts to try and read other player opinions, when as the dev, you have the power to, in your first post, convince me of your games worth and utter amazingness.As a lot of recent developers do however, this topic harps back t o the, "I made a game, it's awesome, go download it!" Which not only tells me absolutely nothing about it, but is very unconvincing.Mailman, for example, ok so... I'm delivering letters. Great. So am I just enter, arrow up arrow up arrow up, enter? package delivered? Or are there more features, fun easter eggs, and such for me to discover. It's these things being mentioned, feature lists, a description written that shows you've at least glanced at techniques on marketing products and such that will make me take you serious.

information, Due to recent server instability, the mud will be taken down from 21:00 GMT for around 15 minutes. This is because we are going to role back to a previous, more stable, version of the server which has less features but is more enjoyable for you, the player. This will occur in aprox, 43 minutes, and will be heralded by a countdown. Thank you.This will not affect any saved items you have acquired.

I've not updated this topic in a while, and I think I need to.First up, as some of you may be aware, cosmic is running at full steam towards our July 1st, third birthday celebration and we're all very excited!Next up, some important announcements, first:  Friday, 14  June  2019 03:14 Lara Stardust: good evening peoples! Or for some, good morning. a very, *yawn*, good morning. The changes to space combat are now complete, and the system has been changed in accordance with how the staff discussed at the most recent host meeting, based on player feedback. Some of the changes are minor, others are big. Here are some minor ones first: 1. If a star has been drained, it can't be used as a stargate. 2. Bug fix, only local sector stars can be used for stargates now. 3. Manual now takes a varying amount of time based on a ships size. It will take significantly longer in bigger ships. And now for more major. Angles are gone. You may rejoice. The angles system has been replaced with a far more simplistic directional system of port, starboard, fore and aft, with up, down, and neutral on the z axis. the command structure, mounts, ETC are still very much the same, and engineering has been left as it was before. To that end, a few other things have changed: Some enemies have sped up, others have slowed down, and the rewards system there in, covered in a moment, has also been adjusted. Dog fighting, that where you fly quickly around an enemy fighter and hit it with lasers, has been made more significant in certain situations. the rewards system has changed, where you get creditted for damage done, and then separate bonuses for whether the ships leave the sector, or are destroyed. the sHelp gunning  file has been rewritten and sectioned off, with a strategies file also being thrown in for good measure. The new system is  far less math based than the last one, with an easier to type command syntax, EG, you type wa f n, rather than wa 0 0. Less hand stretching and the like and easier to remember. Tweaks will be made to it over the next month, while we settle rewards at a balanced amount, maybe speed up an enemy here slow down an enemy there, things you can only know with time. For now, at least, space combat is back online, the help files are updated, and I hope you enjoy the changes and will fall back in love with a truly wonderful system. Feedback, as always, appreciated.Weapons have gotten some love, with each of the 19 host built weapons having different firing messages.A lot of bug fixes have happened, and lots more!

It's me again!just wanted to update the forum with a few awesome changes that took place recently:First, the way socials are matched to was revamped, so that there was no command conflicts ever.More importantly though:the very best of evenings to you all. Our final overhaul to level 1, starter, activities is now complete and boy is this one a big one. Hunting has now been made far, far more interesting, with some features including: 1. The area for hunting now actually looks like a forest, with trees, bushes, and undergrowth. 2. There are now four types of hunting: fox hunting, Incora hunting, deer hunting, and horned-sheep hunting. 3. Dragon's hunt differently to other races. 4. Some new NPC's have been introduced. 5. You now sell your meat directly to NPC's 6. Spears now only use one hunting method, where as bows, newly introduced, use two. 7. You make your own bows, from scratch and can customise them. 8. You can look at, and social at, everything. literally, even the path. try it. There are many more features that this new hunting activity includes, something which the testing HTPL team were more than thrilled about. To give you an idea, here's the opinion of one of the HTPL's The coolest thing to me about this new activity is the maze. I like mapping things out like that, and it adds something we've never seen in cr before as far as I can think of. it's like you have to find your way around the forest and actually strategise your hunt a little. I speak of course, of asteroid processing. asteroid what now? asteroid processing is the replacement activity for the previously dull, previously boring, asteroid hauling activity which has now been removed from the game. asteroid processing is truly too much to explain in an announcement, though I will indulge curiosities by saying that not only is the hauling process interactive, but the second section, the part where you get the materials from said asteroid, is also very interactive. It was tested and reviewed yesterday by five players, who seemed to enjoy themselves very much. prior to that, two other players gave the thumbs up to how the hauling part was overhauled. We can truly say, hand on heart, well accept Nate because he doesn't have one, that this is perhaps the most unique way of considering asteroid hauling ever seen. We sincerely hope you enjoy, and look forward to your feedback as we continue to get rid of rubbish, and implement ideas. Other stuff:hello everyone! After deep consideration, and with much, much encouragement from Charley in particular over the years, you can now type private  or private  , to block the your location being shown in peoples links. Note though, this will not hide it from members of the military, who will have an override. Your location will also not be shown however if you turn the radio off, or drop it. For cy-larkans, the command is /privateSpace combat tweaks to make it more user friendly.Changes like this will continue over the next week or two, working up to a big newsletter write out at some point.

As some of you may know from some of my messages on ooc now and again, I have been working like a working thing in working town on working day. I have just overhauled the upgrade system, well i say I've overhauled it, I've upgraded it. Ha ha! Anyway. What does this bring to you guys, well, here goes: 1. The list and buy commands are now detailed realistic. Meaning that, if you have just entered the store and type list, your character will first step up to the display board, or whatever is in the shop, and then use it. Second, it remembers where it was left, so if someone was viewing say, upgrade 1, and you typed list 2, your character would tap home, then tap item 2. 2. When entering a store, you now see a display board or similar at the bottom of a shops description which displays what the board is focused on. You can also look at this by typing l display. 3. The list command has been changed, it now shows only item names, to see details, you type list and then a number. 4. List and then a number shows the following: 1, name, 2, price, 3, level, 4 skill requirements, and 5 description. If any of these requirements are not current on your character, IE you are looking at a level 400 upgrade while you are rank 300, then the words requirement not met will be shown next to the information, and it will be in red. 5. I think. 5. all 252 upgrades now have descriptions, and the uHelp category has been deleted. 6. Prices are now clearer. IE it will show 15000 per drone, rather than just 15000. 7. All double charging upgrades have been removed. 8. The buy command now shows different things depending on whether you are upgrading a ship, a vehicle, drone, or container. 9. All upgrades are now categorised. 10. There are more categories! 11. Buy now accepts both an item name, and an item number. 12. Display boards are now more contextial in terms of what they show to you, and what they show to the room at large. 13. The upgrades command has been made very slightly quicker. If you visit a hunting area one day, you might see 20 seedlings, go there 3 weeks later and you might see 20 mature trees. Trees have a 30 life day process here, with 7 stages from shoots, to ancient trees. You can cut trees down when they are at the mature stage, which they are at for 14 days. While not quite that simple, the soundpack for vipmud of Cosmic Rage is compliant with the Nathan Tech soundpack installer for vipMud, and contains instructions in cosmic rage/help files/read me.txt, so you could look at that..

They were all of a varying age, but they all were cut of the same page. It came to the season of Easter and really, I can't write poetry. So lets go with this. There are several things to do, which I shall list just in two, so let the great fun begin! First the island. You can tame non-donator pet bunnies, for your cute and cuddly amusement. Upon this island is an oak. If you enter the oak, you can see how many bunnies you can catch in a limited time. Gain money for each bunny you catch! You can also buy Easter eggs upon this island, too! 2. Quest! A quest! and not the same as last year either. Upon the island, are five Easter bunnies, to which you can ask a quest, figure out the planet, go find out the egg, and see if you can beat the challenge! The challenge will either be a math game or a word puzzle, and will be different for each player, so no cheating! Each person who beats the challenge will receive a $10 bonus of donator cash. All winners will be stored and one will be picked  at random at the end of the event, and they will receive an extra $50 All prizes will be given out at the end of the event. This event will run until Saturday the 7th of April. So play, pay, enjoy and have fun. And a very good Easter to you all!

Lara Stardust: hello players! cosmic Rage has always danced a fine line between roleplay encouraged, and roleplay enforced. We don't really fit into either category, we tend to hover between each one. Cosmic Rage also does something else, however, and that is try to cater to as many people as possible. as such, when you finish character generation, you must now make a choice between either roleplay intense, where all ooc features of the game are disabled, rp relaxed where all ooc features excluding the ooc channel are turned off, or socialiser where all ooc channels are on. Obviously, you can toggle them on and off at your own free will. But hopefully, this will start Cosmic Rage on the path to being able to provide more roleplay serious people of the community, while simultaneously making shy people feel welcome. I hope you enjoy.

[announcement] from Lara Stardust: hello folks. Just like with planetoid harvesting, I have now attempted to make nebula harvesting quote unquote different. Less boring, one might almost be so bold as to say, unique. But, of course, that is up to you to decide. There is now a new element to nebula harvesting. Or more that is to say, two types of nebula. One, is your usual gas nebula. The other is the new type, bioplasma nebulae. These bioplasma nebulae can not be harvested by simple r-gas, as it is too thick. Instead you must use a set of magnetised rods. these rods are very delicate, they require you to keep them at 0 degrees c. The way it works is you lock a nebula, and extend your rods. Once extended an activated, the collection process is actually automated. Occasionally the rods will hit a hot or a cold spot, requiring you to adjust the temperature with either rod  heat or cool. the activity isn't difficult, though be aware that if you do not keep the rods at the right temperature, your ship, will, eventually, take damage. Lara Stardust: a very good evening to you all. Planetoid harvesting, it has been said, is exactly the same as asteroid harvesting. Boring. well sir, I say otherwise! Indeed, I would be so bold as to say it is completely different, and I shall prove it to you. I have added a feature called anomalous finding. First, comes the introduction of the planetoid drone. this handy little drone comes automatically with your planetoid harvesting gear and is designed to clear blockages. As you are harvesting, sometimes you might hear a crack as something strange gets sucked up by the tubes, this forms a blockage. while not necessarily annoying on its own, 6 of these little bliters can seriously slow down proceedings, and 10 have been known to jam equipment. This is where the planetoid drone comes in. It's this little guys job to help you remove those blockages and bring them up to you. On Science Core HQ is a dragon called Sarah Silver Scale, who will pay you for these items. It is true, 9 out of 10 times they're nothing special, and the reward is barely enough to buy yourself a good nights sleep in a dingy inn somewhere, but there's always that chance, That possibility that the item you find is uncommon. If it is, the reward is much, much higher. Will you find unique items? I bet you will! I hope you enjoy this new twist for planetoid harvesting! As always, feedback is appreciated. Enjoy!

Called Temreth she is a planet of many cities and many tails. There are three cities in total on the planet, each with their own story to tell, and items for you to buy. There is also a few new items for you to buy, such as a new lighting type, some new chocolate, jewelery and birds. There will be a wHelp file explaining Temreth's story in a little while, but, until them, have a look around, and talk to the NPC's most of them have something to offer, such as poison protection for armour, or trophies, ETC. Here, you must kill all the guards, and rescue the people. People range from between 100 and 300. The station is a transport station, that is teleporting people to a vacus holding camp at a rate of 5 per 15 seconds. Every 15 seconds 5 people are lost, and another mothership joins the battle. From the banking menu is a new item called substantial bank transfer. This will allow you to request for large amounts of cash to go from your character, to someone elses. Note that in the explanation below, main refers to your first ever created character: If your main character was active in the last 4 days, and if your alt is less than 50 percent of your main char's level, your alt is eligible for the bonus curve. The bonus curve gives the alt 10 percent higher cash and point payouts for anything. So, for example, if your main is level 700, until your alt reaches level 350, he/she is eligible for the curve. Cruises, i.e, holiday cruises will always be something the upper class citizens wants to take part in. That is why in the recent years companies have begun to offer just that. Things do not always go quite right though. There are enemies in the black, pirates lurking in the unknown. Sometimes a cruiser will get invaded, or completely wrecked. for a small fee, companies hier civilians to help out with this job of recovering distressed ships. In this activity, which is one you can do along side another, you take your ship out into deep space and first rescue passengers, then tug a ship back to locals for destruction. The activity requires pacients, a knowledge of deep space, and slight ground combat. Pirates will not always spawn on a ship, but they might, so watch out. I've hopefully done it so you should gain a couple lvels, making it worth your time. In this activity, you will also see the first of a new system of ours, low gravity areas! These areas are exactly what they sound like, areas in which gravity is very low. Without gravity boots on, these areas will quickly become irritating, but with gravity boots on, you'll not notice a thing. Lara Stardust: evening folks! Well, after a lot of blood, sweat, tears, abuse and the occasional storm of curses, the exploration system is complete! This system allows you to explore in any direction. Yes, you heard me, any direction. Let me repeat that for the hard of hearing, "ANY DIRECTION!" from any sector. There are a few things that change because of this: *star sectors are now actual sectors, so you don't get boosted up or anything. *wormhole sectors have had a few minor code changes[though you shouldn't notice anything]. Bare the following things in mind please: 1. To the west, and east, for the first sector, is a vacus and droidic blockade to either side. You can go past the blockade, but  you will want to use quantum and run it, meaning move quickly past it, otherwise it will hit you hard. 2. Travelling below -6000 on the z, while in local sectors i.e, if your universal coordinates are 0 0, -1, you will hit black holes, and you probably will die. Don't blame us. 3. Unless you are truly stuck, hosts will not rescue you. If you get lost, its your own fault. That being said, this system will allow for any direction exploration, and you can deploy your plants, anywhere you like now. I really hope you enjoy and if in doubt, report all bugs! If the system breaks while I sleep, I've also added so that any host can turn it off and turn back to the old system, so.. Here goes! Enjoy!

hello folksI know a few have asked "is there going to be a version 2."The answer is yes, and it will contain the multi player version.That, unfortuntaely is where I'm at at the moment. Due to BGT only running on windows, and due to it using UDP, I am having to teach myself a new language just to code the server side of it.I want my games to be aas user friendly as possible, which means not having to faf around opening ports. I'll keep you posted, but its going well.

Hello Dark!I'm sorry to hear you're having difficulties with the game!I'm carrying out a debug as I write this, and here is what I'm doing:check install file[appears to include the files],next deleted old version, and will reinstall,selected windows 7 as I assume that's what you are usinginstalled fine, now check what files were installed:appears to be present and correct,trial run of gametwo torphies won with no problems arising.The problem appears to be with trophies.dat in your version.Please make sure you have a trophies.dat after installation.If you use a different version of windows, i.e, 10, try installing the windows 7 version. The install is the same, the 10 just has a few things extra for those who can't use the start menulem  me know how it goes

Hi Dark!It sounds as though the game has not fully installed correctly!My first tip would be to uninstall the program, and then reinstall it.I'll of course look over my own copy of the install file, to make sure that its not something at our end.As for sound volumes, I can note it down, and put it in the next version, if you like!

Monday, 11  December  2017 22:59 Lara: hello players. Mainly soundpack users and developres. The interface for soundpacks has changed drastically, so please listen carefully. First off, the @soundpacks command. This command now allows you to choose a pack, then either: 1. View information about the pack, 2. suggest something to the pack, or, 3. report a bug with it. The information displayed includes: name, developer, a description, dropbox, bt sync, and other download possibilities, the last change by the developer, and the last update time, not to mention the client. For soundpack admins, your life has just got much easier. First your command is @spadmin. The @spadmin command allows you to: 1. add a pack. 2. remove a pack. 3. edit a packs info such as name, description, download links, and clients. 4. view bugs. 5. view suggestions, or 6. post a change. The bugs and suggestions interface is also menu based, so you can work on more than one. I have converted all of the hcurrent packs over to the new system, though developers may wish to update their descriptions. Credit must be given where credit is due, and that is why I humbly bow to faylyn, who did practically all of the work. If you want to thank anyone, thank fay. I mean it. Thanks fay! Faylyn chaired it, and man oh man, she was good! I am liking this man oh man phrase, so man oh man I'm so using it in this announcement! So, below I have summarised what we discussed and decided upon in the meeting. As always, you'll get a revised copy of the minutes within a few days on the board, but this should do you for now. first, michael and tora are new htpl's, and fox is a new newbie helper. congratulations folks! A new note about support tickets. Please note, this does not include donator items. At 7 days in which the player has not responded, we will bug you about it. At 14 days, the ticket will be shut by us if you do not respond. Now, lets talk about hosties. there are some big shifts coming up, so hold onto your seatbelts and if you're not wearing one, put one on because man oh man oh man oh man. 1. Roger miars has stepped down from his position as a builder. 2. The investigation into geoffrey o'brien has concluded, we can confirm that no alligations are on going, and to the best of our abilities all issues that were raised to us have been fully investigated. As a sign of respect, and in way of an apology, Geoffrey will be resigning his position as chief justice, and will not be taking any rp characters that involve leadership. Whether he roleplays something like a ship tech is not yet clear. 3. Geoffrey is to be reenstated to coder. 4. Angela, Temperence, and Aenaela are, as of this moment, on a one-month probation due to inactivity. 5. Due to the major shift in hosting positions, for this month alone, any player, regardless of newbie helper, or htpl positioning, can apply for a host position, of which shall be reviewed on decemeber 1st. Please take this chance, if you feel you have something to bring to the team! Next up, builders can now see misc reports, so yay for that! Next, monitoring of rooc. As of about an hour ago, hosts have begun to monitor what is being said on the rooc channel. The disclaimer, which you see when typing rooc on, explains this, but we will be doing this to stop people using the channel constantly, to encourage rp,but also to nip any harassment issues in the bud straight before they happen. To clarrify, we will not be jumping down your throat for using it for a few inutes, but if you and a few friends are sitting in a room, using rooc for over an hour, we will gently nudge you to get you in the right direction. Again, private comms are still private,, its just rooc we are monitoring, again, its explained in the disclaimer. Some changes have also happened to donations. I recently saw a number of posts that spoke about microdonations. i.e donations that are deliberately cheap and pray upon those who have short pacience, such as, "free skill time reset for just 2.50, go on, go on, you know you want too." A lot of*good*  developers refuse to do this, and due to this, the team have decided to remove most of them, and if not remove the pricing on them has gone up to discourage micro donating. A related change to donations. In a month or so, we will be switching to a new, cheaper server. The game will still run as smoothly as it does now[though whether that's a good thing or not is a different matter]. You should notice no lag[or no more than usual]. As the server will be cheaper, we have made an important decision. All donation items are no longer in pounds sterlin. Instead, the are in USD[united states dollars,] This makes them a lot cheaper, and a lot easier to calculate, for everyone else, and only decreased the amount of server funding by a little. So yay to that. Idle, i.e, htpl's who have not logged in in a long time, have been removed. You should now see ilyana returning more, and finally! *pants heavily*, newbie helpers, when you type t-chargen, the hosts now see you entering and leaving to help newbies, we're watching you! . I think, that's it. Oh wait, one last thing. The hosts have taken on board your comments, and will be working with select players to try and make orgs, i.e, the jag, sdl, and MI, at least mostly player controlled, hosts will, of course, have the highest leader ship roles, but instead of a hands on approach, we will slowly filter out to a pinkies on approach. Instead we will be instating players as the higher ups. This is after comments that players wished the hosts were not so forceful in orgs. To clarrify, we'll still be there, but it'll be a lot more player reliant. And, that's it! I hope you enjoy all, if not most, of these changes, and thanks for reading. Love ya!

Does the help files keep scrolling off your screen, perhaps you missed an htpc or a newbie mentor meeting, or perhaps you're just nosey. Not a problem! On your message boards is a new feature called web. This web resources section allows you to generate a web link to either a help file, or a log. Logs will include, but not be limited to: newbie mentor meetings, host to player chats, anything held in rooc rooms, possibly transcripts of rp events in which important things were discussed. Logs will never include: transcripts of host meetings. Transcripts of htpl meetings. You can also generate web link to help files, too. Please note that the links you generate with these systems are case sensative, so we recommend you copy and paste them, and, further more, are only valid if your character is logged into the game. There are so many changes, I don't even know where to begin, and at this time of night, I probably can't remember half of them myself! Lets see though here are some of the highlights: 1. Larkans and mutariansi are now proficient healers, gaining bonuses when using injecters and things like that. 2. Monster verses player is now a grid based system. 3. Ryuchi and humans got some TLC. 4. Dodge is now a global skill. 5. There are now three types of armour, light, medium and heavy. light armour lets you dodge, medium might, and heavy don't, and drags you down a bit. 6. Take cover is now more clever. 7. HP, in combat, is gone. You have body parts which gain damage.  8. AOE damage from some mobs. 9. No mobs currently s stun, though this is set to change in the next day or two. 10. Armour making is now a global almost activity that includes mining and blacksmithing. 11. A lot more skills. 12. Ra, or repair-armour, still repairs armour, but dragons get a boost in it, so its 1 copper and tritanium per damage, and only 1 scale per 5 damage. 12. Big numbers are gone. I think the highest number you can expect to see is 2, if that. These are just a few of the main highlights I can think of off of the top of my head. There are a lot, lot more things to this system and it has so much potential for improvement and/or change, it's seriously unreal. For example, the stun element to this system is still in the works, and it promises to be fan, tastic! For now though, I'm releasing the system as it is, for you to all play around with, and most likely completely, and utterly break. Remember, report is your friend, and, yeah. Following in the Doctor who discover volcano harvestings footsteps, a young dragon called natasha crimson scale approached the senate with a proposal to study lava. They agreed as long as it were licenced. The volcano miner is rather a large vehicle, with a three-man drill on the back for accessing that precious lava. It is recommended you have 4 people for this activity, but you can do it with 3. There is no combat in this activity, but you will have to pay attention, and make sur

First off, a number of changes have been made to our staff. first off, geoffrey has been made a builder.  Second off, for a number of reasons. Sydney flowers is no longer a host on cosmic rage. Her position has been removed, with immediate effect. On brighter notes, liliya has been made an htpl, while michael lawson has been made a newbie helper! Congratulations to them. From an rp stand point, the hosts have bugged me to finish up with the pauagiwa race, so you can expect to see those in a couple of weeks, #woot! We will also, in the next day or so, be posted a help file called roleplay rules. These are rules/guidelines for you to follow when roleplaying here. Regarding alts in different organisations,
  for now, the hosts are going to handle it on a case by case access. We formally request that if you have one character in one org, and want an alt in another, you should apply via support ticket, for host approval. the hosts have made a formal schedule for htpc's, and htpl meetings, which will be posted in a couple days. I will finish this announcement on some high points: 1, snapp has been reenstated as an htpl, after his medical leave, which he is much better off for. congratulations! 2. On a lot of a brighter note, Faylyn clarris has been made a wizard, and the formal second in command/vice supreme admin for cosmic rage. So congratulations to her! Finally, I would like to reiterate in my own words the will of the hosting team. We, your staff, are a team of equals. We have equal rights and are on an even footing with each other. one year of cosmic rage![announcement] from n8: hello folks! AS you may have seen, and some of you have figured out, for today only, there is now a paintball arena! To enter it, simply type paintball! to exit, type paintball again. In the paintball arena, the exits are completely random, and change all the time. You might start in the start, then head east twice, only to find yourself back at the start. Some exits might even just lead you in a circle. The aim of the arena is to enter, hide, and then, use your paintball guns  to shoot other players. The player at the end of the day with the highest paintball arena kills gets a prize! finally, when you enter/type look in a room, after the exits shift, you'll see if a player is in another room near you at the bottom. enjoy!

Ever wanted to be an explorer type, but felt limited by the closeness of the sectors? no problem, once you have an exploration licence, you can now go as far north out of locals, or as far south, as you darn well want! 2. Belts. no no, not weapon belts. Asteroid belts! Asterid, planetoid and nebula belts, in which the mineral and gas count is much, much higher! 3. Dark matter mining. Our all new level 900 activity, this is our fun, fast paced, mining/shooting activity in which you need strategy, cunning, and gile in order to get as much resources as possible, while not totally exploding and werecking yourself like a boss! It's a great activity, so do let me know what you think. 4. The quant
 um drive, as I mentioned earlier, this'll make moving in uncharted that much quicker. 5. Industrial plants! These sweet plants allow the construction of several things, including, but not limited too: 1. Custom weapons. You what? that's right. WEe're going to be changing the donator item in a moment, but the industrial plants now allow you to build, and customise, your own weapon! how cool is that! 2. Drones. Remember those 50 drones that got removed a while back? Well they're back, and they're no longer just for donators! We'll be adding a donator item to custom them in a few moments, but this new drone allows for sweet roleplay, you can remote control it, and so much more! Greetings,Arguably, I am not the person to post here, being the admin of another mud, however, I thought I'd air one side of the story.I've noticed also that prometheus sadly appears to be experiencing dayly, if not 48 hourly crashes, which is detremental to continuing gameplay. There has, to my knowledge, been no announcement about the game shutting down, nor when it comes back up, do the hosts either give a reason for, or apologise for the, server crash.That being said, I may simply miss subannouncements, as, stated above, I run my own mud and am very rarely on for long periods.Either way, I hope y'all have a pleasant day.

I'm proud to bring you cosmic rage's latest development into soundpacking. Version checks! As of the latest update to Erra's pack, and a soon to come update of Sierra's, you will now be able to type, providing you have the channel on, sp version to see if you are running the latest version of the pack! For the coders who are interested, the version is stored in a variable within the pack, the pack then has a trigger for which it prints this command to the mud on command. You might argue that yes, its a bit crude, but hey, if it works, it works! For the not coder users, here are some handy commands: 1. @soundpacks. To register what pack you are usin, type @soundpacks, and answer yes to the question. 2. To check the version, type sp version. 3. Suggested by annellin, and with help from our well-loved angelica, I bring you our latest camping development... Grilling! In grilling you have the opportunity through the training of your skill to prepare and cook a vast variety of foods.Adding that extra bit to camping, grills allow you to immerse yourself in what it's really like to be in a forest with nothing but a grill and a tent for company. Naturally, there is a help file on it, help grilling. The grills are very customisable, with options for where the food is stored, what it looks like, what description you want it to have, ETC, and as always, I hope you enjoy!

Hello folks.Just a few changes and announcements:[announcement] from n8: good evening folks. I have a change to skills that will hopefully brighten up your day significantly. Bringing you skill authorisation! Skill authorisation is not as daunting as it sounds, so here me out on this one. A skill authorisation level is literally, a number, that a skill is categorised into. Ground combat, for example, is authorisation 1, while misc skills are authorisation 6. Authorisation really, is not the right word for it, but I couldn't think of anything else. So, what does this mean for you players? 1. Info no longer shows the skill timer. 2. Train-time has been changed slightly, but most importantly, 3. skills from different categories have their own independent timer! You heard me, folks! LEts say you wanted to raise ship weaponry, and ground combat, on the old system, you'd have to choose, and wait an hour for it to reset, by which time, the events over and there'
 ;s no point. But seeing as ground combat is auth 1, and starship weaponry is auth 3, you now can. You can now set your own, up to 20, emotes for your baby! Type emotes  to do this

Capture the bunnies!On earth, if you enter the ocean via boat, and move to 23 23 0, there is a mooring called easter island.Mooring up to that, will find you on a magical island.IF you go to the center of the forest, you will ffind an oak.Enter the oak to go to a land of mystery and magic.Playing capture the bunny is easy. You have two minutes to run around, capturing as many bunnies in a randomly-generated area as you can. when you're done, you'll receive a prize based on your number of bunny captures!Commands:enter oak: enter the oakout: at the end of the trail, will leave the missioncapture : capture a rabbit.3. Basket wishes. The easter bunny spoke to me yesterday while I was eating 
 dinner. He said "n8, if you can make me some baskets and a few wishes, I'll give you a hand in making people custom items, [within reason]. This can be a donator item, or otherwise, but has to fit the following two rules: 1. It must be usable and logical in the 25th century [no pet dragons, it's rude!] 2.
