Re: Evelyn's Farm: iOS Idle Paranormal Adventure from maker of Nano Empire

Little late to write this and if it's been mentioned before I apologize as I didn't see it on my read through of this topic, however there is a way to play this game hands free if you want to play while performing another task.Someone earlier had commented earlier how they didn't like having to click so much using either the double tap or split tap. Well there is an alternative to this so long as you have IOS 13. You can use voice control to both navigate and tap the buttons for you with minimal issues providing you use the proper phrases. If you have voice control turned on there are a few commands you can use to jump to and perform tasks, however you will have to be very specific in the wording you use. I tend to do this when I want to play the game but have to do something like say washing dishes which takes your hands. To navigate you can either say "Voice over select " to jump to the item or "Tap ". Personally I just use the tap and then the name as it's just quicker and saves you a step. Once in the task screen you can say "Tap work", then "Repeat X times" to have it tap the button multiple times. Once it's complete say "Tap continue". You can even use the phrase "Voice over select progress" to monitor how much progress has been complete..There are however limitations with using voice control, especially if there are tasks that have similar titles such as Pick Pumpkins and Pick Apples. It is possible however to tap on a task just by stating the first word in the title, such as Read instead of the full read the documents. It is not a perfect method and occasionally it won't be able to understand you, however it for the most part works extremely well. The key is to remember that what you say as well as the command you try to use is very, very important.I don't recommend using this mthod to replace your game play entirely, but it is a way to do something else while playing.

Re: Our new IOS game Tank Battle.

Yes, the elevation is a little backwards. Like Dark mentioned typically the higher the elevation the less a shot will travel. However this game is missing a key element that most games of this nature using physics typically have, how much force is being put behind a shot. Some of you may remember that old game that first came with Windows many decades ago, where you were faced against another cannon. You had to calculate wind speed, elevation (terrain), angle of your shot as well as the amount of gun powder you used.I think the game tries to simplify using different shells over gun powder. The only issue with this is the shell has a cap limit on it's maximum range, but it really should be determined by the angle you shoot from. However I do understand that since the game is in real time, trying to configure all this would be difficult to do on the fly.

Re: Our new IOS game Tank Battle.

Honestly, I stopped looking at the wind speed, as it really doesn't seem to affect my shots much. I'm able to one shot nearly everything just by using simple math.Just use the shell closest to the range needed (without going over) and minus about 1 degree for every 10 in distance from you. If an enemy is around 933 from you, use the longest range shell (1000) with an elevation of about 37 or 38. Hasn't let me down yet.

Re: Landlord Tycoon, a business and slightly AR game that is actually acce

Few things about the game. Yes the Major cities and towns do take cash as well as coins to purchase. 50 coins per 0.1% of the total property. Countries also take both cash and coins, 13,500 per 0.1% of the property. The cities listed on your main buy properties tab do not necessarily reflect all the towns that you can purchase in your area.Estimated profit is just an estimate and is rarely accurate since the rate of income is determined by a number of things including a hidden factor of traffic of a property that only the developer can see.Property values can go up and down depending on the rate of traffic to a particular property (trend). The amount of money you receive for rent each day for your property goes down every time you level by a small percentage. So unless you are raising your skills that affect increasing rent and decreasing daily costs, your income will slowly drop as you level.Bidding in the market costs a coin every time you bid, so it's best to not try to bid constantly but rather to make a large bid, and avoid chasing a property by bidding on it multiple times.Buy land increases your total property value and does not increase your income. It's main purpose is to increase the amount of money you can hold by helping you level. The best way to raise your level quickly is to sell a portion of a city or town (0.1%) on the market, and then turn that profit into something bigger. It will take coins to truly succeed, however the market is the fastest way to make money. I started out by selling a $100 million value (0.1%) of my city on the market and got $4 billion in return. This can be done even by selling a $100 million total value property. You won't gain nearly as much as a city or town, but it's a good kick start if there are tons of properties in your area.

Re: The Grail ords, a text-based browser game

Regarding guilds: The primary purpose of guilds are to be able to apprentice under a master (Level 80 or higher) and be able to use their skill to craft items. In return for using their skill crafting level they get your guild experience when you work on your items. You can only apprentice until you are level 40 of that skill. If you do not apprentice under a master the guild experience will be your own, and the person with the highest guild level gets the ability to teach a class at the university. Guild experience does not help you finish your work faster and there is no limit on the number of guilds you can join.As far as extra experience from working while in a guild, I've never seen an increase when leveling. It's always a base line per stamina times your skill level when you reach 20,40,60,80, and 100. At level 1 you get 100%, level 20 you gain 20% less, level 40 you gain 40% less so forth and so on. So at level 1 if you spent 100 stamina you would gain 0.5 experience, but at level 20 for 100 stamina you would gain 0.4 experience, 20% less than what you would have gotten at level 1 - 19.

BookRage I just checked it now and it is still very inaccessible. The grid says "Map pin" for every tile that is purchaseable. If you click one at random the buy button is brought up in a random place and is extremely difficult to find, if you can at all.It is nothing like the buy property tab, where it lists all the property by name. It brings up a map of your immediate surrounding area and you have to select a square of land to purchase. The only issues are you can't see what you are buying or even find the option to buy most times.

Re: Landlord Tycoon, a business and slightly AR game that is actually acce

The buy land is not very accessible. It's a grid map with each square that is not labled. Selecting an area to purchase will bring up the buy option at a random point on the screen and can often times be impossible to find, if it even works at all. It was put in the game to quiet down the people who complained that the level cap on cash was too low, and that lower players can't buy anything because of the higher level players with massive cash limits. All it's done is cause the higher level players to have bigger stashes of cash. The secondary reason was that the higher players complained that they had nothing to spend their money on once they hit their property limit.BookRage is right though, expect to pay hundreds (yes not an exaggeration) of real dollars if you wish to play this game long term and actually succeed. You can actually watch 5 ads every 6 hours, however if you do not watch all 5, the timer will not start to reset your ads. I would also recommend never spending money on reduce property times or cash, as coins are just too valuable and are best used to upgrade your skills. As far as money goes, it's fairly easy to obtain as long as you are patient.

Currently it only shows the word progress, which I ass ume is either a graphically bar or possibly text it can't read. Also, when trying to view equipment there is supposed to be a way to see it's stats, but for the life of me I can't figure it out. Someone told me that you can mouse over and it will show, however when I do the command for my screen reader to mouse over it doesn't show anything. Actually I think they are clearly visible, but I assumed the numbered links were also sites able to give out rewards. The only one of those three to give out a reward to me was the one that asked you to solve a math question when voting. Unfortunately no matter what browser I used, it wouldn't show me the values, so I ended up registering since it removes the validation step. However anyone looking to register using a screen reader should know that you still need to answer the math question which will take sighted assistance. It's worth it to register though since you will never have to answer the math question as long as you are logged in.Lord Arogandor do you happen to know approximately when the voting sites turn over for the day?

Is anyone else having any luck with recieving a reward for voting? Yesterday out of 6 sites only 1 successfully registered a reward. I understand that the site has to send back a positive response in order to give out a reward, but 1 in 6 is really low odds. I am fairly certain that noone is using my IP address to vote, but as I can't confirm this I suppose I will have to try to vote as soon as the voting sites roll over for the day.How is everyone else fairing?

Re: A Few Minutes of Glory: iOS text-based medieval RTS

I think remembering what each troop does is what was tripping me up the most. Now that I don't have to spend more than a moment on how to counter build my opponents troops, the game is a smoother experience. I've even managed to beat the game using medium speed on a normal campaign. I'm hoping one day I might be able to do a playthrough in real time. This might be extremely difficult due to the multiple double tap lag like effect that happens whenever there is a live counter on screen, but at least now I know it might be possible.

I'm often asked why I don't become involved in the blind community where I live. What happened here is one of the major reasons, soft skin and what I like to refer to as blind entitlement. The number of people I meet who carry a sighted people need to give it to me now, when I want it, where I want it and the way I want it without any flaws attitude is staggering. I've even had interactions with people who are openly bitter because others can see and they can not, and because of this fact they demand those who have sight to help them in every day life as well as do everything in their power to make anything and everything accessible, regardless if it is even realistically possible.I do understand that there are those who were offended with some of the perceptions made about blind people in this game. The issue I take with the knee jerk reactions is that it was not meant to be offensive, nor was it meant to be mocking those without sight. Some also complained that they should have done more research, yet that is what they wer attempting to do by asking for advice on this forum. In conclusion too many blind people complain that sighted people don't care about the blind community and how they are uneducated about people without sight, yet when someone willingly asks to be educated, all they can do is complain about how uneducated they are, expecting sighted people to magically know everything there is about the lifestyle of a blind person. If they can't seek information directly from the source, how are they to become knowledgeable about what is fact and what is fiction. As far as game quality goes, they clearly stated that it was a work in progress, yet people decided to complain about things that would likely be fixed given the proper time and suggestions.

I've gotten used to the gestures to get to the top or bottom of the screen, so things at the top and bottom aren't that much of an issue. I will give the touching the middle of the screen a try for troops.I forgot to mention this earlier but I also wish the two timers,Final battle and Time until you can attack were a little closer together. Voice over wise they are nearly on opposite sides of the screen. It's not a huge deal, but it's still time spent flipping between the two.

I won against the easy campaign last night, and it was as the name states fairly easy. The main issues I am facing is that I spend so much time trying to locate what I am trying to build I often don't feel that there is time to create any type of strategy. I do understand that part of the game is to work quickly, but I'm finding myself looking more for what I want and then button mashing just to get something built, especially since the double tap gesture seems to often lag when trying to build more than one unit. All in all I like the game, however I do wish it was easier to navigate and build multiple units. I've tried to touch the screen to find what I am looking for, but that doesn't seem to work well.

I finally just successfully completed a play through with a Warrior. It was about as close as it can get. It took every single healing potion, antidotes, and mushrooms I had to get to the final boss. I broke my first weapon on the stupid webbing on the way to the final encounter, and then my second weapon broke with the Dragon at 15 hit points. I literally had to punch it to death. Thank goodness for defense reducing spells. The scary thing is both my weapons were brand new when I stepped into the castle and I also used two stones to fix them along the way.If this is a normal level run through I really don't want to see what very hard is going to be like.

Re: New Horizons, space combat and trading game

Considering how overpowered the Cobra is as a starting vessel, it is hardly fair to compare the two if you chose the Cobra at start up. I personally would take the extra speed and turning over missiles (never use) and the extra 5 cargo space. As to the hull, unless things change during certain missions, even tons of hull doesn't seem to be a necessity. I restarted from scratch and my current ship with 60 hull is more than enough even in a danger 9 sector, even if I stay to take on a bunch of ships for awhile. As far as not needing fuel, I suppose this is just preference.  I don't mind having to refuel as it doesn't take that much time, but I won't turn down not having to constantly fill up my tanks.Like I mentioned though, perhaps things are different while doing missions, but my personal choice is give me the ability to out maneuver my opponents over hull, 5 cargo space, and missiles (Again something I've never needed to use).

Re: New Horizons, space combat and trading game

I downloaded this a couple of days ago and I have to say that This game is so addictingly fun. I will admit I was getting kicked around at first but after a couple of hours I got the hang of it. Of course I unwittingly did it the hard way to start, killing ships while piloting a Ophidian with a mining laser. It seems almost painful remembering what I went through now that I upgraded my vessel and laser and eventually obtaining the haul regeneration upgrade. My only advice I can give to anyone having a rough time with combat is to not wait so long to upgrade your ship, and especially your weapon. Your weapon should be upgraded right away to the highest your current ship can arm it self with if you want combat to be a bit less tricky. Of course if you started out with the Cobra then ignore purchasing a new ship and go straight to a new laser. If you are really, really struggling make the Haul regeneration upgrade one of the first upgrades you purchase. It makes combat much, much easier. So much so that you can go on a killing spree piloting a Ophidian with a mining laser in certain low to mid danger level areas. I just did this today just to see if it would keep me alive with a poor ship, and I am nowhere as experienced as the other players on this forum playing this game.

My battery seems to drain faster if I am doing a quest while the app is running in the background. If I completely close it out, the issue seems to go away. I don't often close out the app completely though, so there isn't enough to say if it does really go away. It does seem to go away if I cut the app off from celular or Wi-Fi access though, in fact I don't allow most of my apps to run off of cellular, but until recently forgot to turn off Land of Livia, which was eating up my bandwidth.

True but my point is that there are quite a few people who are reading that entry and assuming the Battered Knife is the location as it doesn't directly say it isn't, and to voice over users it is a location assumed to be in the surrounding area of the Mountain retreat. There are also some legendary entries for other items that don't have a name in the clue and are correct, and others that have the name in them but are incorrect.   The entries are intentionally filled with mix direction and riddles and what you may find obvious may not be clear to others. In fact I know they aren't because it is the one Legendary item that is most often asked about in our campfire.

Re: Land of Livia: An IOS game which has been made accessible

It is also important to note that I've been asked quite often about a misconception going around in the campfires that it is best to wait until you are done with a chapter before collecting your legendary items. While this will ensure that the legendary item will be of a higher level, you lose out on the very valuable boost of the stat bonus the item provides while trying to quest and level up during a particular chapter. Also, if you have the lore page available, an item to consume that upgrades a legendary items stats which also fits both of the legendary items bonuses, you should consider upgrading immediately since it is unwise to wait until you have an enchanted item to upgrade.  In short you should always upgrade whenever possible to ensure yourself the highest percentage going into a higher level quest.   Waiting until the end will result in a lower stat line causing you to potentially fail a quest which would be easier if you upgraded your legendary items on a regular basis.

It would depend on what your current strength is and what your success chance is for the strength quests you are trying to complete. If you are in the 70% range I would keep the higher strength item. If you are in the 80's or 90's and higher, keep the higher luck item.Luck does slow down the rate in which the gem cutting rotations occur, but the tier 1 gems are already fairly slow to begin with, so while it does slow down with luck gear it's not a huge advantage early on.  to worry about 1 luck.If you are worried about doing your first gem cut ever, try to get a sighted person to sit with you with screen curtain off to tell you approximately when you should cut. What I mean by this is get them to say "cut" when they visually see when you should cut and not when the tone tells you to cut. This will help you understand how long the delay is as well as how the delay may change from cut to cut. It may take some time and gold, but you will eventually get good at it. If gold is an issue the Golden sands quest in Smuggler's Cove is the best gold per minute quest until you can get the river strength quest  down to 5 minutes.

You can only upgrade Legendary items. You will need a Tier 3 lore page and a consumeable regular item. The item has to be of a certain level, I believe equal or greater than your legendary item's current level. To upgrade a Legendary item go to item, locate the Legendary item and click "upgrade". This will open a new window which will show you which items you own that can be consumed to upgrade the item. You can also preview what your Legendary item will be stat wise by clicking preview.

Re: Land of Livia: An IOS game which has been made accessible

I just did more testing with using vibration as a sensory method and found it's probably your best tool for accuracy when ryhthym and reaction time. Since the tone and vibration are slower and longer coinciding with the speed of the spin, it's just a matter of timing the cut just about when the vibration ends.   So essentuallly the tone and vibration are basically there to let you know that you should be ready to cut after the tone and vibration. I also find it easier to react to touch than sound. This is probably because touch seemss almost instant for me to register, and sound as fast as it is takes me more time to register.**Edit**Okay, I am 100% sure that you will get best results with the split tap gesture while using both the tone and vibration to time a cut. I got my highest cut today without counting and without anything but pure reaction to sound and touch. Just use the start of the vibration as the signal that you should be ready to cut very soon and you should be cutting gems in the 90's.

This is probably because touch seemss almost instant for me to register, and sound as fast as it is takes me more time to register.

Re: Land of Livia: An IOS game which has been made accessible

I will admit that gem cutting was very frustrating in the beginning to learn, but is now one of the more fun aspects of the game. I didn't do it alone though, both Aaron (Developer) and my wife helped me to understand how to get started. The rest was just practice, practice, practice. If you are still having issues you can borrow a sighted person to sit there with you with screen curtain turned off, asking them to say "now" when you should cut. This will further help you get a feeling how far past the tone for each speed rotation you should be making your cut. I was ending up with a lot of gems in the 70's at first, but eventually with practice and luck gear was able to slowly raise the quality of my gems.

I've created a short guide in the articles section of the forums to briefly explain how Lore researching, Gem cutting and upgrading legendary items work. I hope this helps anyone who has questions,, especially with gem cutting, as it is very expensive and time consuming to learn.

Re: Land of Livia: An IOS game which has been made accessible

Yes, I've noticed the battery issue as well for some time now, but I previously chalked it up to the normal useage typically consumed by a lot of games I play on my phone. I've also noticed for awhile that the game also becomes sluggish if I haven't closed the app via the app switcher after several hours (around, 3 - 6 hours. It reminds me of other games that had for a lack of a better term a memory leak, where the game wasn't handling the clearing of temporary data very efficiently. Of course compared to some games, this game battery consumption is like drops in a bucket, where I can only get 2 or 3 hours in a full charge cycle with a 6S +.

Re: Land of Livia: An IOS game which has been made accessible

You don't have to start cutting as soon as you hear the first tone. That is just the starting point which in turn triggers a tone. This will also happen when you do a cut, the arch will reset to it's starting point and trigger a sound, which again you don't have to cut. You can simply sit there and gather a Rhythm or counting if you prefer of when the time to cut comes around. So for example, you pay 200 gold and you hear a tone. Sit there and listen to it go around for a few times and be ready to take your first cut. Once you perform your first cut it will sound like a double tone because the arch is resetting, but you can again sit there and get the timing, letting it go around a few times. Repeat this until you have all 3 cuts. If you are still having trouble picturing it, it's like you are looking at a giant wheel on it's side with a semi circleular arch hump on  it. You have a button to try to stop the wheel completely between two static vertical markers on the ground. The more of the arch you get between the two markers )percentage), the better the cut.

Re: Land of Livia: An IOS game which has been made accessible

The game is designed to eventually become where you can set a quest and forget it, but in the beginning it will take a little more attention. Trust me when I say that you don't want to rush buying the ship. Take your time gathering the gold a little bit and gather some gear and gems along the way. In fact I believe the intent is to slow you down from purchasing the ship too quickly to insure that you gain the necessary upgrades before setting sail, as the quests levels go up rather quickly from that point on. The closest to a set and forget money maker is the Jungle and Mine. Without quest time reduction they take quite some time to complete and reward you well. However if you can check your game often I suggest the Golden Sands quest in Smuggler's Cove once you unlock it. It still has one of the best gold per minute ratio of all the quests that I've seen. It becomes even better once you can reduce it's quest time to under it's original quest time of 15 minutes. The river also has a well rewarding quest, but until you can reduce it's quest time to 5 minutes, the Golden Sands quest is still the better of the two. Also remember to max out your Parrot and Compass as soon as you can, as well as take a trip down to the Jungle Outpost if you  haven't done so already. I'm pretty sure the Jungle Outpost will be worth your time.

Re: Land of Livia: An IOS game which has been made accessible

Lore % chance basically gives you more guesses the higher your lore is. Typically any of the lore mini games can be easily beaten with 13 guesses. The prelude is fairly large. I won't spoil how many areas there are, but you probably have a bit more to go.Lore items are used to unlock Legendary journal entries, as well as upgrade Legendary items such as the Amulet from the legendary quest you received from listening. The higher the lore item, the higher the chance it will unlock a journal entry. To unlock an entry find the legendary quest in your journal and click on one of the locked entries. The entries are clues which will tell you which area and quest you should do to get the item to drop. It is a rare drop though and may take several attempts to find it. The clues try to mislead you, but there will always be at least one that points you to where you should search/quest.

Re: Land of Livia: An IOS game which has been made accessible

No, that isn't exactly how the colored markers work. A red marker means there is a rune in the solution of your current guess and in the correct spot, a white dot means you have the rune correct in your guess, but in the wrong spot. It will never directly tell you if you are correct, it will need to be accomplished by process of elimination and problem solving using your previous guesses. It will also never reveal you more than one marker per rune. For example, if the solution contains only one Alpha rune, but your guess is Alpha, Alpha, Alpha, Alpha. It will say you have one red marker, rather than 1 red marker and 3 white markers, Which tells you that there is only one Alpha marker in the solution. The same goes for white markers. Another example is if your guess is Alpha, Beta, Beta, Beta, and it tells you that you have zero red markers and one white marker, this means that either Alpha is the correct rune and doesn't go in position one or Beta is the correct rune but doesn't belong in position 2 , 3, or 4.Hope this helps.

Re: Land of Livia: An IOS game which has been made accessible

I was told to not worry about holding onto luck and lore equipment early on in the game, as you turn over your gear extremely fast for several levels. Also, the bonuses you get at such a low level are so poor, it doesn't really make that much of a difference in your drop percentage, gold earned , or gem cutting speed while cutting a gem, something you don't even need to do until level 7 or 8. By that time you should easily have more inventory space when the gear is more worth while to keep.

Re: Land of Livia: An IOS game which has been made accessible

I have two IOS devices which is why I can be in two separate chat rooms on two different characters. The reason for two characters is that my son likes to play a game on my primary device which is much faster than his slower older device, so I created a second character to pass the time while he does this. When gem cutting it is important to note that you shouldn't try to guess and time when the tone will sound to hit it exactly right while using voice over. What I mean is don't sit there and try to anticipate when the tone will chime, pressing cut before you hear the tone, as it will result in negative results. I spent an entire day collecting gold and gems to test which works best and I've found that double tapping is best (recommended by the developer), as well as hitting the cut button when you hear the tone. Actually, I have had best results when  I hit the cut button a split second after the tone, especially for the first and second cut. I believe this is because the developer said that he took into account of the delay that would occur for voice over users using double tap and if you are too quick you will outpace the delay.I should also mention here as well that I've recently consolidated to one campfire GB8eXw. This one seems to be more active with voice over users. Remember that the campfire ID is caps sensitive when inputting the ID.

Yes, some areas have only one route that directly connects them to another area and must be taken if traveling to and area for the first time. The developer is trying to come up with a way of showing voice over users that there are dotted lines which  directly connect areas )Paths) to each other, such as the raid camp and Tropical Jungle. In the mean time there are a ton of sighted players in your campfire which can help you out if you specifically ask them which area connects directly to the area you need to get to for the first time.On a side note, the campfire ID I am currently in is h3hyIH. It is caps sensitive, so make sure to type in caps when the letter is in caps. Another campfire with several other blind players is GB8eXw. I am Nolly in the first and Kyleni in the second.

It's not just in IOS 9, it's in 10 and 11 as well. I went back on spare devices and it is possible to click on the hints to dismiss it, it just often pops up a new hint right after you do. It does pop you back to the hints if you try to swipe, but I think it's trying to get you to click on the hint. The tutorial is only for a few places in the beginning of the game and after that swiping works fine. I've  visited over 25 locations, and I haven't seen any other hints pop up since then.

The only issue with this game is there is an overflow bug that still hasn't been addressed. The developers are aware of it, but for what ever reason have not fixed it.The bug will eventually cause the production of Fire, Eggs and Gold to stop working. It seems to happen when you hit a certain amount of resources, and no matter what you do, the game will always bug at this point. Even if you use sacrifice the game will eventually bug once your production reaches a certain level again. You will know the bug has occurred when either your production or quantity of a resource gets stuck at 0.0.

Floor 45 has two hidden platforms. They say "Lava flow" but they aren't what they appear. It's been awhile but I believe it is room 11 and room 4.

Re: Adventure To Fate : Quest To The Future JRPG

Any of the melee classes can be easy to play, as the casters lack high direct damage at higher levels. My opinion though is that the Time Guardian is probably the strongest class followed by the Mercenary and Ranger due to their debuffs and high end damage. You can also pair the Alchemist profession with any class to make it easier, as they don't require stamina to use a potion, as well as having the ability to  make potions you can not buy in shops. It's important to remember that the best defense is to not get hit at all, so always use debuffs that reduce your opponents stamina, their miss rate or fizzle chance when possible. It is also a good idea to wear equipment with lots of wisdom once you reach the Crypt area. Nearly everything from that point till the end of the game uses spells or attacks that can be reduced with high wisdom.

You can drink instant health and skill point restoring potions outside of combat. However, you can not drink buffing potions outside of combat. To drink an instant restorative potion outside of combat go into inventory, click the "use" button then click on the potion you wish to drink. I can't recall but I believe you can learn which are buffing potions by inspecting the info screen by clicking "info" then the potion.

By the way, is it even mathematically possible to beat the game without a death, under level 24 without skipping chunks of content? The experience from boss fights alone always send me into the last boss at level 24 or 25.I've tried for weeks skipping and not skipping content, and I can't get back to my high score. I always fall 2-3 thousand short, but I think it's because I had a higher level bonus score, and every boss fight went smoothly, i.e minimal summons and confusions).

Sorry for the confusion, room 17 and 18 do connect, but I meant to say find room 8 to exit the sewer water. room 8 is the only way to exit the waters going eastward.Vertical navigation does have an issue going southward, it is actually something I am glad you brought up, as I forgot to mention it to TouchMint. If you try to swipe down/south when the room you are in is in focus, it will pop you right back to where you were. Swiping north will say "character location", but swiping up again will place you one room above focus wise. For now you can avoid this by moving to  the room below your character by going around it, at least until TouchMint can find a fix.

Re: Adventure To Fate : Quest To The Future JRPG

I am going to do a short walkthrough, but not anything that would be considered spoilers. Before I do let me explain a few game concepts. The double footsteps sound you hear is your character going up or down stairs, so when you hear this sound you have gone up or down a level. To go back search the stairs again. You will know a stairwell by the description "To floor XX" on the map, where XX represents the floor (number)ittakes you to. There is an exception to this which I will explain in better detail later in this post and that is that there are grates or holes in which you can only proceed one direction (downward). Be sure before you read on you have vertical navigation set in your router as I will go over how to use it in detail.Your inventory screen can be confusing at first, but it breaks down something like this. The top portion is your character and what they are currently wearing. the center is your options such as equip, unequip, and destroy. Below
this is an itemized list of your items. A slot that is empty is represented by a "0", so if you see this in either area, it means that slot is empty. To equip an item you must first double tap equip and then the  item you wish to wear. To unequip an item do the same except click the item from your equipment slot rather than your inventory. It is not necessary to unequip an item to equip another. There is also a useful tool to compare an item to something you are waring. To do this click the Info button then an item you wish to cross compare to what you are wearing. Once the item description is open, find the "compare" button and press it. You will now notice that when it reads you the stats of an item, it will either say +, - or nothing if the value is equal to what you are wearing.Once you create a character you will be placed into the world (after a short delay for loading)When you begin the game you are in the center of a 5 by 10 grid map,
or floor 1. To the north of you is a locked door to floor 4, to the west is a stairwell to floor 2, and to the east a stairwell to floor 3. There is nothing of exception here but it is a good room to look through the graphical world map and see the layout I described. It is an open room with no hallways/tunnels/elevations, so you can walk around without hinderence. It is also important to note that your character does not remain center focused in the world mapat all times. What this means is that your character will not remain in the middle of the map, and will move around it similarly to how a chess piece moves around a chess board. For example, if your character is in room 4, it can be found in the very top right corner of the map. If your character is in room 10, it can be found in the middle, on the very left hand side of the map.Part 1: Find the keyYou start the game in room 12 of floor 1. First off you need to find a key to open the door to the north. I won&
#039;t tell you exactly where the key is, but I will say it is on floor 2. Findroom 12 on the map and swipe left to highlight room 11, and then double click the room. This should take you one room closer to the stairwell to floor 1. Keep walking until you find the stairwell, it should take you to floor 2 as soon as you step onto it. You should now be on floor 2 room 14. Move around this area to find the key to unlock the door to floor 4. Once you have done so take the stairwell back to floor 1 and find room 12, the room you originally started from.Part 2: Enter the SewersNow that you have found the key and are standing back on room 12 of floor 1, walk northward until a tone and dialogue box pops up telling you that you need a key. Dismiss this notification and take another step northward. Another box will appear informing you that you used your key. Dismiss this as well. You should now be standing in the Sewers room 22 floor 4. Take a moment to look around the map with
your finger. You will notice that there is sewer water directly ahead of you but that the north, west and eastern edges have apath. That path is elevated and can not be accessed except from one direction. Think of it like a catwalk or tunnel.Part3: First combatNow that you have taken a look around the map at what floor 4 looks like, take a step northward to room 17. You should automatically be drawn into battle. A dialogue help box will appear, find the done button three quarters of the way down the screen and click it. The battle screen is divided into several parts. The upper quarter is taken up by NPCs, the upper middle quarter player and pet stats, the lower middle quarter with skills and potions, and the very last bottom quarter is your action log. I won't lie and say the battle interface is super easy to navigate for new users, but it is very easy once you understand what you are looking at.It is important to understand that it is best to use the horizo
ntal swipe gesture for combat, as things are mostly layed out horizon

Re: Adventure To Fate : Quest To The Future JRPG

I am going to do a short walkthrough, but not anything that would be considered spoilers. Before I do let me explain a few game concepts. The double footsteps sound you hear is your character going up or down stairs, so when you hear this sound you have gone up or down a level. To go back search the stairs again. You will know a stairwell by the description "To floor XX" on the map, where XX represents the floor (number)it takes you to. Belo
w this is an itemized list of your items. You will now notice that when it reads you the stats of an item, it will either say +, - or nothing if the value is equal to what you are wearing. When you begin the game you are in the center of a 5 by 10 grid map, or floor 1. To the north of you is a locked door to floor 4, to the west is a stairwell to floor 2, a
nd to the east a stairwell to floor 3. There is nothing of exception here but it is a good room to look through the graphical world map and see the layout I described. It is an open room with no hallways/tunnels/elevations, so you can walk around without hinderence.Part 1: Find the keyYou start the game in room 12 of floor 1. First off you need to find a key to open the door to the north. I won't tell you exactly where the key is, but I will say it is on floor 2. Once you have done so take the stairwell back to floor 1 and find room 12, the room you originally started from.Part 2: Enter the Sewers<
br />Now that you have found the key and are standing back on room 12 of floor 1, walk northward until a tone and dialogue box pops up telling you that you need a key. Dismiss this notification and take another step northward. Another box will appear informing you that you used your key. Dismiss this as well. You should now be standing in the Sewers room 22 floor 4. Take a moment to look around the map with your finger. The battle screen is divided into several parts
. The upper quarter is taken up by NPCs, the upper middle quarter player and pet stats, the lower middle quarter with skills and potions, and the very last bottom quarter is your action log. I won't lie and say the battle interface is super easy to navigate for new users, but it is very easy once you understand what you are looking at.It is important to understand that it is best to use the horizontal swipe gesture for combat, as things are mostly layed out horizontally, at least it is with voice over.
