It is their version of the popular card game and they have made an impressive job with it. It is completely accessible, it's fun to play even on your own and it is frustratingly difficult to beat. Re: cooperative iphone games @Mirage, there were some version updates in January, that was what prompted me to try the game again, since Mrs. Dark was going into radio therapy every day and I wanted stuff to play on my Iphone while I waited. The game worked fine at that point, I believe I was on Ios 13 at that stage, since I always tend to upgrade unless there is a specific reason not to. Lost cities would be my first recommendation, as an awesome, tactical card game with ability to start matches with people right across the world. Then there are game world and dice world, both of which let you play with other people, even run tournaments. Also however dont forget the puzzle game Stem stumper which now has a free version, (though you can pay to remove in game adds), and Startraders Rpg, the free version of Star trader elite if you want a single player space stratogy game.Sixth sense is fun for a quick arcade murder fest, and if Zany touch doesnt go for all your boppit needs there is also smackme. blindfold racer is also free and your welcome to give it a try though over all I was personally less impressed with that game.I however would recommend very much getting the ability to buy games on your Iphone sinse there are a lot of extremely good commercial games which are very inexpensive, for example the recently released zombie defense, many of the choiceofgames and hosted games and goodness kno ws how many others. Re: Iphone games Hi. To create a new topic go to the general game discussion room where you will see a list of all the topics and click the new topic link. Fill in the subject of your topic, for instance question about Stem stumper in the first edit area under subject, then fill in the text in the second. Ignore all the other stuff sinse that is only needed if you want to create a pole, and then just hit the submit button towards the bottom, and there you go. I think there are some stem stumper audio tutorials on youtube, but Im not sure how many sinse ive only seen one, try searching on youtube for stem stumper. Ive not heard of any recordings of the game, well not that provide a completely walkthru, ditto with text, however as I said youd be better asking in another topic under the subject of stem stumper sinse it is likely more people who have played the game will check that topic and have answers . Im very familiar with the Looktell tutoral, indeed I created a page for it on the audiogames.net database which can be found Here I thought it was a very good way to learn the vo gestures, in a fun way, however I am not convinced that any of the game (including the mini adventure), would work as games on their own outside that purpose. This is why I have listed its genre as educational games sinse manifestly it is designed to teach rather than just to entertain. I just meant that if a person was looking for a serious Iphone game to play and was already familiar with how to use Vo as Apcon obviously is, the looktell tutorial wouldnt be quite what she/he is looking for. hope this makes sense. Re: Iphone games Guitarman has made some good recommendations there but Ill add a couple more.If you fancy something strategical and very evocative in text try A dark room and the ensign (in that order), both are exceptional. Codename signas is a very fun interactive audio drama story in James bond style, (especially played with voice commands).Id also recommend Lost cities for a random strategical card game that you can play either against some quite tough computer players or against other people. Ive been recently recommended Stem stumper as a good stratogy maze game with nice audio, and there is Robo E, though that requires a very puzzle orientated mind, if you want a quick boppit style game try zany touch, Ive also heard good things about Soul trapper though havent tried it myself as yet. Lastly, you mention papasangre 1 and 2 but not the nightjar, dont forget that one sinse its an e qually good game (well equally good as ps1). Sorry about this app con I did this list off the top of my head so I missed a few. I wouldnt recommend blindfold racing since its a game meant for 5 year olds. You dont even get car sounds for that it just plays music while your racing. Re: Iphone games Well Guitarman, I was just suggesting Phil add the game to his list, sinse obviously there are kids who are its intended audience, likewise Id not recommend playing the Looktell tutorial as a game if your already familiar with vo and its gestures, though if you were a new Iphone user it would be extremely helpful.The Ensign is particularly good, albeit its a trifle buggy at present sinse were waiting on the next update to fix a couple of things (though it is quite playable), and there are some elements that make it just rock hard even to someone who knows A dark room well (I got creamed today by one rather unexpected enemy, though I intend to try again).If youve not played either game you really must! start with A dark room, both for the story and for the mechanics, indeed The Ensign tells you as much on its first screen. Papa sangre 1 and 2 are good options also blinside, sixthsense, star traders rpg, nebula game, king of dragon pass, solara, zombies run, audiorun, stem stumper, lords and knights, iMobsters, zombies live, vampires live, ear monsters, ErnCon, codename cygnus, and the inquisitor 1 and 2.For gamebooks I would check out the choice of games and hosted games titles. There are also 2 mud clients mudrammer and pocketmud which are not free but are accessible clients for playing muds on the iPhone. Also if your into text adventures get frotz which has downloads for all kinds of text games.Hth.
