Any update on this? I'm considering buying a used Transporter but am not
willing to do so if there is no future avenue for service/repair.

everything I've read in recent years indicates that there is no avenue
for repair of a transporter. Certainly not via Logitech. One would

Very poor, I suppose that level of 'service' is OK when you're churning
out mice and and keyboards.
At least with the real hi-fi suppliers like Linn, McIntosh, Naim etc.
you're not left high and dry.

And another reason why Logitech will not be selling anything remotely
Keep bugging them Rob! As a (currently happy) TP owner I wish I could
help more than encouraging you here :)

I just spoke with Logitech USA. I asked to speak to the supervisor.
Here is his answer. We no longer support the Transporter after the
warranty expires. I informed him of Logitech's legal responsibility to
provide service/repair for a fee five year after discontinuation of a

I think the problem with Logitech (as with a lot of companies these
days) is that they don't do repairs anymore, they don't even have
employees with the skills for performing repairs. If an item shows a
defect in the warranty period it is easier for them to just replace it.
If you want a repair I

Logitech are still selling the TP SE in the US. Therefore there must be

You're not asking for a repair under warranty, i.e. free of charge, but

Bummer. I wonder if there is some small audio electronics shop that can
diagnose and repair. Maybe one of the ones that mods transporters,
touches, or SB3 players.

Just to add my 2 cents. I don't know about consumer law in the US, but
here in the UK I'm pretty sure a company is legally obliged to be able
to service their products for a reasonable amount of time. If Logitech
are still selling Transporter SEs, then they must surely have spare
motherboards

Keep pressing and get it referred to Logitech US if necessary where

I just talked to Logitech, and they will not service my Transporter,
