My setup is pretty basic. I'm running a crossover network cable form my SBT to my Windows 7/64 PC. (No router). My SBT analogs plug to my receiver. Awhile ago I was using TinySBS with SD Cards... I could also tell the difference between FLAC and WAV with that setup as well. -

The mid range/bass of the Transporter blows away the Touch. "For instance, a TP on a $250-500 DAC is likely a downgrade. " A TP with a $2000 DAC can be a downgrade as well. The RME ADI-2 PRO, the Benchmark DAC3 pale by comparison. --

Most people here leave their Transporters on 24/7, and the units are still operating after a decade or more. The only issue for some was the common PSU issue, which can easily be swapped. In the Player/Display settings make sure Power Off Brightness is set to 0 (Dark). With that said, I personal
