(Cross Posted to Azores, Madeira, and IslandRoutes) Although this video is being used for My Heritage and says that the DNA is at the My Heritage lab, in reality, My Heritage uses Gene by Gene in Houston. That's really FTDNA's lab. I do recognize the lab and one tech too! Enjoy!

Faith B, That is why adoptees or those of unknown parents have to fish in every pond. You don't know where that close cousin or half-sibling will test. I'd recommend starting off with FTDNA and Ancestry and see what you get there. Then test with 23 and Me and My Heritage. Good luck, Cheri Mello

Hi Hugo, No there is no way to search by name. At one time, the port of Angra was typed up (in modern Portuguese spelling) and placed on the CCA. When they revamped the CCA site, they took down the typed list and put up the digitized images only. Maybe a few people downloaded the typed list and
