My guess is that the priest mean to say Nossa Senhora da Guadalupe or Nossa
Senhora da Luz. Guadalupe and Rosario are both 4 syllables. Luz is only one.

The record link below says the father is from frequesia “Senhora do Rozario” on
Graciosa Island. Not being very familiar with that island, what freguesia
would that be under now? (The record for Manuel – right hand side).
I only see freguesias: Guadelupe, Luz, Santa Cruz and Sao Mateus on the
