Just create "/var/log/bacula.log" and set permissions as Clark said and
check in messages resource if is logging in this address!
Try bacula stop and run "ps -aux | grep bacula" to check if there isn't
any other instance of some daemon.

You can try stop mysql, and move the directory /var/lib/mysql/bacula to
another safe directory.
Then you can try run mysql and see if it works.
If you have a dump of mysql you just mysql -u root < catalog.dump, or you
need to use BLS and BEXTRACT to get catalog.dump from volumes.

Sometime you don't know which specific version of file you need, and is
necessary do a lot of restores to get the correct file.
So I've created a shell script to to do this in a single restore (bacula
executes multiples restores, but the user select JobId's just once)

This is the normal behavior, but you have a problem with the version of
bacula-sd.
Your bacula-sd is on a prior version (5.0.1) and bacula-dir in (5.2.6) .
According the manual this is not recommended. bacula-dir and bacula-sd
always must be in the same version.

like 100 disks of 4TB (= 4000gb)
You define capacity of your pool configuring (Maximum Volume Bytes x Maximum
Volumes)

If you want do restore a multiples jobs from a client in different folders
you can use an script that I've done sometime ago.

Sorry, I guess you will need to adapt the script, because my script is to
