Hmm, I never saw a KB article, but when I went through the upgrade it said
Upgrading database schema... for about 60-120 seconds. It's possible it goes
through the motions of that stage of setup even if there's nothing to update I
guess.

The word Schema during the BES upgrade refers to upgrading the configuration
database and of course not MS Active Directory Schema changes.

Personally, I'd use the BB desktop manager software to sync the contacts with a
temporary Outlook profile. From there, you can export those contacts into a
PST, then import the PST into the contacts folder into Exchange.

You can also choose an alternate Contacts/Calendar folder to use within BDM
using the existing Outlook profile. This makes it even easier!
