A user upgraded his blackberry tour from 4.5 to 5.0. he can no longer open
attachments. I deleted the Desktop [CMIME] service book and re-sent it and
that did not work either. Also, I found an KB article on blackberries website
and they told me to make sure the blackberry attachment service
Sorry for causing all the confusion. Im talking about DLs that are in your
personal address book. We have BES 5.0 but none of our users have 5.0 on their
devices. Also, we are in an exchange environment.

Are these supposed to by syncing to the blackberries? Is there a setting that

We disallow third party apps (if we allow them, then we would have to support
them which became a mess)
we require a password after 20 minutes. has to be at least 4 characters
we disable mass storage because we don't even allow thumb drives in our system

Today we went live with a firm wide signature. Is there a way we can prevent
signatures from being used on the blackberry? We are using bes5.0 with

Where on the device do you good check that the network is in all UPPERCASE?
When I go into Manage Connections My network is listed in lowercase but I am
still receiving data like I always have.

People have done it but it is not officially supported. If you want to go to
bes 5.0, that is supported on 2008.

Before i got the tour i used the curve. While i had the curve i would get
e-mails on my blackberry before they would come to my inbox. Now with the Tour
on the same environment it is the other way around. Is anyone else
experiencing this?

send it back under warranty because I know the next one will eventually do the
