In BibTeX Preferences - TeX Previews, I've selected 'Generate previews using TeX. Now when I click on eyeglasses icon at bottom left of bottom pane, a text preview is generated that I can select and copy for pasting which is what I initally requested. The bibliography entry generated in TeX

I do not have choice of 'Citation_Pages' for Template under Default Format: TeX cite command in BibDesk Template Preferences, as shown in your screenshot. Is that necessary? If so, how do I create that template? When I export RTF, I just get a copy of the same ChicagoCitationTemplate.rtf file.

I put settings back to original - Full path to pdflatex: /usr/texbin/pdflatex Full path to bibtex: /usr/texbin/bibtex I select Export from File menu, then choose RTF for File Format. I still get nothing but a copy of the same ChicagoCitationTemplate.rtf file with the code I copied from your post.
