In BibTeX Preferences - TeX Previews, I've selected 'Generate previews using
TeX.
Now when I click on eyeglasses icon at bottom left of bottom pane, a text
preview is generated that I can select and copy for pasting which is what I
initally requested.
The bibliography entry generated in TeX

I do not have choice of 'Citation_Pages' for Template under Default Format:
TeX cite command in BibDesk Template Preferences, as shown in your
screenshot.
Is that necessary?
If so, how do I create that template?
When I export RTF, I just get a copy of the same ChicagoCitationTemplate.rtf
file.

I put settings back to original -
Full path to pdflatex: /usr/texbin/pdflatex
Full path to bibtex: /usr/texbin/bibtex
I select Export from File menu, then choose RTF for File Format.
I still get nothing but a copy of the same ChicagoCitationTemplate.rtf file
with the code I copied from your post.

I followed instructions from gweltaz to create template, and selected it,

So what did I do wrong?

This makes no sense. Gildas Hamel talked about tex preview (using biber). Not
about templates. Again, those are different things.
She gave me code to produce Chicago template, which is what I'm using.
If that's not what I need, then I need code and instructions on how to
create it.
With what she gave me, I simply saved her code into an RTF file.

What do you mean by You should use a bibtex style for the chicago style.
If I new how to create such a template and use it in BibDesk, I wouldn't
need help.

You typically don't create that (this is very difficult), you get it from
somewhere, or have
Well, where can I get a Chicago style, template? is it? or what is it?
What is tex distribution?
So what should I use if not (bib)tex?
I've explained what I'm trying to achieve in earliest posts in thread.
